Reminder: 90 chapters as 12 episodes (+2 OVA)
>Shitty degraded clone that is better off dead
I can tell she'll be best already.
>Keeps to herself.
>Doesn't bother anyone.
>Helps people if they need.
Pieces of shit, I want to protect her.
It's not true!
Ushio is a piece of shit.If he left, nothing of value would be lost. Maybe now since he is the main antagonist but beginning with him and Nene, they needed to get gone with their shit. I hope they both never win.
Yamada managed to get a blush out of him once he reveals his past.
So looking back over some parts of the manga, when Yamada first asks Nancy what she meant about him not remembering her, she told him to ask Ushio.
Though Ushio denied knowing her, he made a cryptic remark about how it seemed as if all the witch powers existed for Yamada's sake.
Later on, when Ushio talked to Nene, he claimed he would "release her from her suffering" and that he would "change the whole damn world for her. Just like Yamada."
What the hell did Yamada do during his memory gap?
I honestly always thought that he was gay, or at least not sexual, at all. I mean, all those jokes, he likes to make them, sure; but he didn't really blushed or showed anything romantic for anyone... but Yamada, at some point.
I've to catch up with the manga. I put it on hold around chapter 80 and I've got the impression that this may have changed.
>Implying she's tossed around like a used whore and forced into perverted outfits against her will.
The only time she's sexualized is when Yamada is in her body, and she doesn't give a fuck cause she's not in it when it happens.
She is very boring however. Just like Lucy
But neither of those are Tsubaki
Kurosaki please stop being jealous.
Here you go, best girl.
the other witches look cute
Make sure to throw away your computer so you can't post on /a/.
So, like, this is omnipandering but the main fanservice is going to be the girls, right? With some yaoibait sprinkled in?
I can't wait for all the rage from /y/haters but also fujoshit getting into it and getting mad due to girl focus.
>but the main fanservice is going to be the girls, right?
Yeah, it probably tilts towards male-targeted fanservice overall. All female witches kiss, for example, but
not all the male ones do.
Female audiences typically don't get as upset as their male counterparts do when they have to put up with a girl focus, though. If you see people raging about the cute girls, that'll be waifu wars, not angry fujos.
There's plenty of homo fanservice. Yuri fanservice is the one that is pretty rare. During the first volumes there was some girl on girl action, but lately there's nothing. I don't even remember the last time two girls kissed.
>Female audiences typically don't get as upset as their male counterparts do when they have to put up with a girl focus
Not that guy, but that's a lie. Fujoshit get PISSED whenever a girl appears in a yaoi fanservice series and usually outright hate girl characters. Not saying it'll happen with this, no, but it does definitely happen.
Dude, usually fujoshis get two male characters being on screen at the same time at most. Getting some actual fanservice like kissing is pretty rare.
But Miyamura being a slut are the best parts.
I'm all in for body switching shenanigans but damn, the episode was clearly rushed. I like hearing Hayami Saori talking like a delinquent though.
Also kinda miss Ohsaka's voice, haven't heard him lately.
New compared to the seiyuu who have a lot of lead roles and 5+ years in the industry. They have some of the most popular and experienced seiyuu in non main character roles. They are new.
Not that guy, but I still can't comprehend how Saori Hayami is 'new'. She's damn everywhere and as main roles on top of that. Ryota Ohsaka also been around since 2012-2013, and has some main roles.
I hear their both the same though, where you have an MC in a school setting going around helping girls with their problems and trauma's and then getting added to the harem.
What puts this above Denpa?
I want to take care of Miyamura, Tamaki, and Nene.
If you're watching this fujishit-pandering yaoi garbage you convict yourself of having this shittist of taste.
It's so fucking unfair. Yurifriends don't get a single yuri kiss this season, meanwhile yaoifags get full blown make-out sessions between sausages right in episode gay-fucking-sex one.
there's no ntr there. You mean something like this, or the latest chapter.
>90 chapters as 12 episodes (+2 OVA)
You don't know how adaptations works, they're going to adapt only until the witches lose their powers, which is lucky because the manga is shit after that.
Does Mikagura not have anything? Also I'm pretty sure last season just spoiled you.
If only everyone on /a/ were like this. Its half and half and twice the fun.
No one read SSY so no one saw it coming. Most anons here read the manga and knew what they were in for. Even some animeonlys watched the PV. But anons that actually dropped it for that are retarded.
It was justified yet unexpected. A lot of anons probably stirred up shit just because they could as well. 95% of people watching this show probably know what it's about, even if it's just an idea.
It's about series atmosphere as well, this is comedy where gay stuff happens more often for laughs rather than serious like SSY was. It was still stupid for people to drop a series over a bit of gay.
>everyone gets a good amount of screentime in the OP
>then there's Tamaki
>Gokukoku no Brynhildr covered ~90 chapters in 12 episodes
no it didn't.
It covered ~36 or so chapters in like 9 eps. skipped like 15 or so. Then "covered" ~50 chapters in 3 eps.
The ending of the first arc really hurt with how lonely Tamaki was and Nene letting Yamada go. If anything, I really like that the second arc gave them a bit more of a chance at being happy, and I can see them getting together in the latest chapters. Only thing I'm worried about now is if Yamada's future vision about Tamaki as president is still possible due to witch shenanigans, and what that will mean for Shiraishi and Yamada.
>spent dozens of chapters trying to lift Yuri's power from Shiraishi
>things escalated to the point where she was barely relevant anymore
>then they randomly decide to bring her back to normal for absolutely no reason, only for her to witness the imminent NTR
For what purpose?
Ghosts go unnoticed just like this best boy.
Nah, the building has already been torn down if I'm remembering right, so they prevented that. I'm just wary about how they didn't really do anything to stop the future with
Tamaki besides finding the 7th witch, not by using the witches. The powers didn't really seem to specifically do anything to prevent the future with Tamaki as president, and they never checked the future again to make sure when this was going to happen. Sarushima stopped going to class for well over a month after she first started having the visions of the fire, so we don't know when Tamaki would be announced as the president. With an election coming up and him eventually having to choose a Vice President, I could see the vision still coming true, either with Shiraishi volunteering after whatever happens with Yamada and New Girl or some scheme by Asuka and Ushio to screw over Yamada.
I just hope this isn't the way they try to get rid of Shiraishi for his "true love before his memories were wiped"
Also, I've been wary since the middle of the first act about Shiraishi and Yamada's first kiss and that she knew they kissed without Yamada remembering. Now that we know Yamada's memories were erased, likely with the help of a witch ceremony (which may have also created the 7 witches from the first arc that Yamada wished away again), it makes me even more suspicious. Though maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree.
It was about 6 chapters with some character interactions cut.
If you like what you've seen, the manga is worth a read, though I can't guarantee that you can go back to the anime again afterwards.
Despite the cuts though, I still enjoyed the pacing of the anime, though I can see it losing impact
once everyone forgets about Yamada
The 7th witch erases the memories of anyone who learns about her name. Yamada is immune to the effects of witch powers so instead the witch erases everyone else's memories of him, making all of his accomplishments in the story amount to nothing.
well, as mentioned here >>123949032
Ushio claims Yamada changed the world. Presumably for someone else's sake. Probably the new girl. If Yamada had pulled a ceremony then, and somehow it created the witches we are familiar with, it kind of tracks. I guess it also gave him his power, but still how did Nancy erase his memory. She must have been the 7th witch there.
That's why I'm wondering if it took a ceremony to erase his memories. I'd assume one would be strong enough to do that. The issue would be, who initiated the ceremony to do so?
I'm suspecting Shiraishi since all the new witches met in the ceremony room and she never bothered to mention it until it was relevant, despite gradually remeeting all of them while hunting down the witches.
She looks so interested.
Although, now that I think about it, Rika said the 7th witch appointed her successor. Which means someone picked her and she remembers that. So she wouldn't have gotten her powers thanks to the ritual.
Unless all the rituals were told to her when the student council in Yamada's first year found out about her, and Nancy hid the nature of the second set of witches from her (and likely the student council), seeing as she had no idea the other witches were hanging about.
I think I need to go back and reread everything.
I was so nervous that this was going to be bad that I didn't laugh as much as I should have but it was still more Gintama. As soon as it moved from the apology to the clock thing, I pretty much stopped laughing. Kekkai Sensen is great though, fucking Zapp.
Isn't there a new building built to replace the old one? I might be remembering wrong, but it could be events will line up in a way to ensure it happens, even if not in the way we wanted.
This is the second kiss, please no.
I don't want to drop this anime.
Drop it. Threads will be better when you do.
Well it's not like there's any real logical precedence to go off of if you suddenly find yourself swapping bodies with someone.
Even less so to suspect residual thoughts from that body would somehow remain in them and alter your own mind.
You're still with another person. I assume the flustering comes from that.
If anything it'd probably be made even worse by the incredible absurdity of the unexplained supernatural events that lead up to it.
Besides the kissing, the guys are always groping and touching each other in lewd ways in nearly every chapter. There has been even implied sex between some of them, not to mention strong hints of guys legitimately loving everywhere. Not to mention the girls become irrelevant later on.
Just drop it while you can.
No problem animeonly. There is nothing wrong with being an animeonly but the mad ones always get me.
I'm an animeonlyfag and I rarely have problems. As long as you don't pretend to know everything about the source and ask non-retarded questions, threads for almost all shows are usually fine.
The fact that he is using "animeonly" means he is at least from /a/.
The obnoxious crossboard posters always use the word secondary.
>The anime's pacing is pretty good.
Damn. They're gonna try squeezing in every witch and each of them is gonna wind up with barely 1-2 episodes of screen time before they immediately have to charge off to the next one.
This would be way better as a 2 cour show. Hell even a 1.5 cour would help a ton.
Is Soma's pace really that bad? The first episode seemed fine, and faithful to the manga, but I couldn't get past the first episode because the cooking sequences and foodgasms look cringeworthy as fuck when animated with all those visual and sound effects.
Read manga first and wait a bit to see how the episodes are received.
Or just do both, you have the time if you're on 4chan, but it looks like the manga's going to be the superior version.
>Yamada and Shirashi finally have sex in the missionary position for the purpose of procreation
>Start kissing during the act
>Both deal with swapping back and forth between bodies the whole time
I dropped the manga 100 chapters in
Got pretty damn boring by then
I always loved the beginning. It's great
Yup. They said when they were recording lines for last year's PV, they would do lines as they would for their character so that the other VA would pick up on how to voice each other. She said it was weird but interesting to play Yamada as Shiraishi.
a lot of crazy stuff is coming up about Yamada's past and his messed up memories.
Looking over the early chapters, I actually realized that Yamada hadn't thought the "girl he saved" was Odagiri, and that it was Shiraishi who threw that idea out there and they all just ran with it.
I want to return to clubroom activities in the student council and supernatural studies room, not the sewing club.
Even though at the start I wanted Yamada to wind up Shiraishi in recent chapters I kinda feel bad for Miyamura.
I feel sorry for Kurosaki. Miyamura is a slut so his lust for Yamada goes for everyone else where as Kurosaki has eyes for someone who doesn't give a shit about him. I hope senpai notices me shit that will never work even though he tries his best.
Itou please. Belongs to everyone, ect.
>first thread of nothing but waifu and best wars
>next thread starts off with talking about they guys
>complain 64 posts in about anons not talking about the girls
Actually, there are two ominipandering harems this season including Yamada.
I could do without the student council myself, it was so jarring when most of the cast got shunted.
Yamada and Miyamura might resign after the current arc ends so tittymoe can become prez.
>tittymoe can become prez.
Not happening. Tamaki should become president. What would be cool would be waiting until the end of the year and Miyamura saying Kurosaki should be president and give him a kiss and they start going out. He has suffered enough.
Would be the perfect combo of slut and pure, gay and bi. Make it happen Miki.
Sign up for the manga if you want to savor it.
I honestly have no idea why you fags hate everything after the first arc so fucking much. It was slow and boring in the beginning, but if someone were to marathon it, it would be perfectly fine.
Besides whining about the pace, I've also seen people complain that a new set of witches was retarded (when in reality the new witches were barely relevant until now), that the manga should have ended after the main couple got together (which makes absolutely no sense), that there was no reason to continue (ignoring all the unexplained plot points), etc.
My only complaints are how convoluted things became after the male witches appeared, and how half of the old cast became basically irrelevant after the ceremony, but the new character introduced weren't that bad, and hopefully we go back to club shenanigans after this whole election thing ends.
And I miss mahou-X translations.
Chill fujoshi do exist, you just never see them because they keep their magical realm where it belongs or otherwise hide their inclinations.
The ones that are horny underage girls are obvious, and we all hate them as much as you do.
Omnipandering is cute girls, cute guys, cute girls on girls, cute guys on guys, cute girls on guys, cute guys on girls.
The *monogatari series is just a straight harem with attractive members.
It makes you feel less for them. At the very least should have shown more what they do with the powers and them interacting or Miyamura getting suspicious/student council shots.
>"oh god it's so gaaaay" comments.
Those anons need to leave. It was in the PV but not in the episode. There were a lot of good jokes in that part but "gotta go fast". I just hope this doesn't bomb.
In a fair and just world this would be the case.
Who then? Aoi Yuuki, Maaya Uchida, KitaEri, HanaKana, Mai Nakahara are all not newbies.
That doesn't mean a thing. The topic at hand is whether a seiyuu is a newbie or not. A show's newness and a seiyuu's newness have nothing to do with each other. In terms of shows I agree that any show post-2010 is new (Eden of East is 2009) but when it comes to seiyuu as long as you've been regularly getting roles for 3 years you're definitely not a newbie. Different things, different measurements.
I count Osaka Ryota and Maaya Uchida since they haven't been in the industry long, less than 5 years, despite having a good amount of lead roles. Those guys are pretty new compared to everyone else.
It's not omnipandering if there's not pandering. Accidental appeal doesn't really count.
This shows tries to appeal to both demographics, even if it leans more towards male pandering at times, Monogatari series is purely male pandering, I mean Araragi suffers from "last available man on earth" trope.
I wouldn't be surprised if Kizu hasn't aired yet solely because they fear adding any more testosterone to the cast would chase all the little insecure manlet otaku away.
It's omnipandering to the highest degree.
The manga got shit after the first arc right? I got kind of bored of it slightly before it ended.
Bakemonogatari sold so much it must have been popular with not just otaku I think; selling more than Seed and SnK.
