If there's a HGW in America and I summon Obama as my Servant... what's his Noble Phantasm?
There's no way at all Obama, or any president newer than FDR at the absolute latest (more realistically, Teddie) could qualify as a Heroic Spirit.
If you want a President, you're probably best off with Washington.
MODS KILL THIS THREAD NOW BEFORE /pol/ GETS IN!
Anti-Army Noble Phantasm: Yes We Can
Obama transcends the limits of race and political expertise to ascend to presidency and acquire the throne. This causes a maelstrom of destruction in a nearby area that is the shape of the United States but scaled down to the approximate size of a small town. Unblockable.
I am the nig of my nog
Malt is my blood and crack is my breath
I have cashed over 1000 welfare checks
And fathered a dozen bastards
Who will never know Im their father
As I did nuffin.
He was the first to climb Mount Everest but he lived in New Zealand and so isn't qualified to be the usa president. One requirement is that the usa president be born on american soil.
>Forgetting ol' Ronnie Reagan
Tearing down the Berlin Wall with your bare hands has to translate into one hell of a noble phantasm. And constructing a space laser system to destroy the evil empire.
Considering how badly the Dems lost their asses in the midterms, it's going to take a bit more than liberal white guilt to get another Dem in the office.
I'd be quite thankful for checks and balances, along with the First Laddie likely still being a womanizer.
Yeah, but in the Fate universe, you got Cu Chulainn and girl King Arthur, people who are not known for having super human abilites, fighting like they are fucking DMC charaters, moving at sonic fast speeds and jumping and whizzing through the air, so if Obama or any similar historical figure got to be participants in the Holy Grail War, I'm sure Nasu would do what he could to make them into DBZ characters for no reason
>sakurafish gets banned
>you're waifu's face when confess guy gets banned
>this thread where nobody is discussing anything even tangentially related to anime is allowed
>people who are not known for having super human
I mean, I can kind of understand Arthur, given that a lot of his legends focus on his knights, but Cu is depicted as superhuman quite a bit.
And how many of those managed to make them back? Clinton started losing seats and it took until 2006 for his party to retake the majority.
Voter turnout in the US has historically been fairly low. Gerrymandering by both parties for decades has made voting in most places pointless since the electoral college is all-or-nothing for each state. The Dems blocked a proposal to change it to a district by district basis, by the way.
Cuchulainn is known for wildly superhuman feats.
King Arthur was generally above human for his ability to slay many, many men in battle. He was also able to contend with a swordsman while unarmed, which is more than most can say.
>I'm sure Nasu would do what he could to make them into DBZ characters for no reason
Humans just used to all be stronger, this is a thing in Nasuverse. Older you go back the stronger they were individually, especially when pumped up by legends.
When you try to get a modern servant you don't get DBZ, you get this.
You're already foolish saying "King Arthur and Cu didn't do anything super human, Nasu just does this shit".
>posting shitty memes that no one remembers
And behold a black horse. And him that sat thereon had a pair of scales in his hand...
>not known for having super human abilites
YOU MEAN THE MOTHERFUCKER WHO JUMPED CLEAR OVER A CASTE WALL?
THE SAME MOTHERFUCKER WHO PICKED UP A CHARIOT AND BEAT ANOTHER MOTHERFUCKER TO DEATH WITH IT?
King Arthur I'll give you though.
Yeah because that was all him. Just ignore the fact that was a diplomatic genius. If Kim IL Sung didn't die, Carter would have reunified Korea.
You know who deregulated the airline and railroad industries? Carter.
Ford was far worse.
You know who opened diplomatic relations with China and ended the Vietnam War with a peace treaty? Nixon, remembered now as a great liar because he had one reporter's phone bugged.
Carter did most of his diplomatic work after he left office, though none of it has resulted in much since the crazies took over in the Gaza Strip.
Yes, if Nixon didn't break the law he'd be considered great.
I still believe Carter is the most underrated presidency of the 20th century. Especially with how he handled the Three Mile Island incident.
There wasn't much to handle. A reactor had a partial meltdown, the failsafes did what they were supposed to do, the equivalent to an x-ray's worth of radiation for released.
Carter did very little of significance during his time
Rank: E~EX (Depending on eligibility)
Obama's Noble Phantasm is a reality marble in which all beings with a 100 meter radius are trapped within a confusing and buggy website until the affect persons give up and decide that going uninsured is easier than having to deal with this shit.
He'll get rekt by Assassin on the 1st day
Four people dying is actually kind of a big deal outside 4chan, you know.
I honestly don't know a whole lot about it. I think the government was informed the embassy in Benghazi was under attack and they just didn't send any help over whatsoever, and then tried to hide it somehow.
Nobody ever gets their wish anymore. The grail wouldn't work even if it wasn't busted. Also, the attack dazes the target long enough for him to punch the Master in the dick.
>Not the most heroic president America has ever had with his Great White Fleet and Rough Rider Phantasms.
He's a faker. Downloads the skills and statistics of his betters with cheating magic.
Jack's a wraith and inferior to heroes in combat.
Francis Drake was from the 1500s.
Mr. Hyde is some sort of magical superbeast.
The most ill-fitting hero, timeline wise. I imagine it's just Nasu being a bajiquan fan, so bullshit Qi powers.
1500s, also Dragonblood.
She's an amalgam of wraiths, actually. All the orphans of London or something.
That might be a fun concept: American historical figures come back as genderbent versions to fight a holy grail war in America:
Washington as Saber
Patton as Lancer
Andrew Jackson as Archer
Theodore Roosevelt as Rider
Reagan as Caster
Lee Harvey Oswald as Assassin
Ulysses S Grant as Berserker
/int/ would have a field day when America elects it first, real Americuck as president.
Trying to write a DnD HGW scenario. The players write their own mages (within reason/stat sheets), but I write the heroes and the only way they can influence summoning is heritage, personality, and selection of vague artifacts. If someone's gaming the system I can fuck them over, but I digress.
I'm struggling with ideas for a female Lancer. I've considered Fa Mulan and valkyries so far, but neither feels quite right. I need suggestions.
>All the Serbs and Croats
Might be cool
Kanshou and Bakuya weren't wielded by anyone noteworthy, were they? Their legend was in their making, and that's why Archer favored them. Therefore, the skill he was using them with was his own, and the skill Shirou had with them during, say, Sparks Liner High came from Archer's arm.
Yeah. All the players' Servants get along with their Masters fairly well, though, so the Command Seals have basically just acted like bonus fate points that don't replenish.
Try making a thread about ideas for Servants on /tg/ instead of here. FSN threads tend to turn out well on /tg/.
What if you could summon the embodiment of the US Presidency the same way you can summon the embodiment of fairy tales or the embodiment of dead Victorian orphans?
With only those, though, he's a very weak servant who has to rely on skills and game the system as hard as he can to stand a chance. Armed only with a single copy of Kanshou and Bakuya and excluding his Mind's Eye skill, Archer would be a bottom tier servant.
It's like saying "Batman is weak because he doesn't have super powers, he's probably bottom tier". Nasu shows Archer is strong, but not in a way where stats or simply abilities are in his advantage.
It's all about how he applies himself
With that logic you'd say Batman is shit and weak, but then you see him beat Superman the strongest hero. This is because Batman knows how to maximize his value, plan ahead, is good at analysis, and figuring out weakness. His stats might be all E rank, and he'd still have high value depending on how he applies it.
That's like Archer's value; he might have lousy stats, but UBW route shows us where his real value lies as he plays everyone time and time again.
