Too much plot and it detracts from ten show.
Only watching due to the writer and me liking mappa.
They said to wait till at least epsiode 6 to drop it, bu I'm not sure if I'll get there
>What do you think about it?
Should have had delicious brown.
yeah i wonder where they got that stupid idea
I came for the panties and I came to the panties, can't really say anything else. Can't really say whether I like the blonde NEET or teh Rie more either.
Waiting for the ~tweest~.
We need pantyshots with actual impact and having the guts to show piss marks and shit streaks. That would be fresh comedy instead of the xth "ooh got a peek at some boring frilly pantsu, so erotic, much nosebleed!" repetition everywhere.
Can't wait for next episode
Funny you should say because it's actually Aniplex tier garbage, one of the things those two studios have in common. MAPPA is also way better when they aren't doing trashy Aniplex originals I should mention, like one of my favorite newer studios. I'm not going to blame them for this one really, it's contractual work for a shitty otaku pandering company that's pretty much calling all the shots here. I'm largely convinced this Uchikoshi guy is just here to bait in the eroge audience as well.
Triage X still gets more discussion than this. Only show thats more irrelevant this season is Denpa Kyoushi
Fucking Rumiko Takahashi retro threads awake more interested then new hyped Mappa anime
Episode 1 did have a lot of discussion mostly shitposting tho
I don't get why people are bitching about fan service when triage x has way more and that show barely gets shitposted on
It's like they are fucking with us.
I don't hate it so far. I like the animation and the character designs and the music. Ghost nosebleed powered world-ending superhero meets magical girls with transformation sequences is silly fun so I'll give it a few episodes at least.
The things I'd do to Rabura.
It was better than the first episode.
I'm relieved the "nosebleed destroys the world" joke wasn't overplayed.
So far it's about a 6/10 for me.
Hopefully the plot picks up.
I think I have a room fetish.
Seeing rooms like the ones in the show gives me great pleasure. Not sexual pleasure, but I get this good feeling when seeing stuff like this. Same thing happened when I was watching Tatami Galaxy.
So, cast connections so far.
>Yuuta's sister used to live with Rabura, before going overseas to the US.
>Rabura and Ito are cousins.
>Yuuta and Mikatan both have superpowers
>Meika's helping run Mikatan's Strange Juice business
Anything else I'm missing?
This Gliese guy Rabura is texting, he has to be important to the plot.
I think it might be the same guy we see in the OP.
i don't get it, what is this supposed to mean?
Who wouldn't ravage her.
Rie Kugimiya voice is growing on me with this role, That song was fucking 10/10.
I don't really get the show's story, Like first episode was having lewd thoughts about pantsu kills the world and now the second episode feels like a bunch of random stuff mixed together.
>Handstand for beginners.
This show is so great they actually foreshadow pantyshots episodes in advance.
>Cast about to interact with possessed Yuuta for the first time
And so it begins.
If the possessed Yuuta opens his door (or the rest of the cast force it open), the real Yuuta can use that to enter his room, right?
I haven't watched this yet, but it's written by the same guy who wrote the Zero Escape games, so it's probably going to have some plot twists for those that are wondering. If his previous work is anything to go off of anyways.
>the second episode feels like a bunch of random stuff mixed together.
We're just getting to know the characters.
And then you'll find out later that everything introduced in this episode was important, the bear, the guy Rabura is texting, the cinnamon boosting ghost powers etc...
Everyone keeps praising the guy, but from episodes that aired the writing is abysmall. Hard to imagine anyone proffessional doing it.
The exposition by end of this episode was "forced" and so unnatural it was painful to watch. Most of episode was wasted litterally on nothing diluded on poor humor attempts.
This episode was underwhelming, they tried a little too hard to be funny. But they did bring up a few things that hopefully be brought up for the future twist, like the sister moving away, however
We Zero Escape now
>Everyone keeps praising the guy, but from episodes that aired the writing is abysmall. Hard to imagine anyone proffessional doing it.
That's because everyone knows his stories are great because they have amazing endings.
You can read the first 4 routes of Ever17 and think it's just a meh 6/10 VN, but then Coco route happens and it retroactively makes everything 10/10.
The writer used one of the worse trick in the writing business.
>Have character do/say X
>Have other character complain about how trite/cliche/y doing X is
>Still does it
It's a shitty way to try to grab the viewer/reader attention by trying to make him into the joke. (Know what I mean?). It's about as repulsive as a character stopping, looking at the camera and winking.
You talking about the cinnamon thing?
I don't see what is the problem with Yuuta commenting on how random it is.
It's pretty obvious that it's not random and going to be explained later. And it has the benefit of preventively stopping anyone from calling bullshit/plothole in the meanwhile.
Good show but I have a weak spot for snappy non-serious perverted shows.
It's worth it for Rie voice alone.
I have hopes that he has improved since writing Ever17. The Coco route was great but it wasn't enough for me to consider the VN more then a 7/10 because of how the rest of the routes was written. Coco route quality is more then enough for me to be satisfied with this anime but if it ends up being only marginally better then the rest of the VN was then it would be a disappointment. Saying that it would be a "massive disappointment" if it doesn't turn out like I want it to was an unnecessary exaggeration.
Not as good as ep 1, but the dance was really catchy and knowing that she has an accent, made her even better. Will continue watching
I wonder how Uchikoshi would make an anime if he had free reign to write what he wanted
custard is bouncy and stuff will roll down it to the bottom
MC can't choose when he time travels and can only go back to the "bottom" IE him becoming a ghost because he doesn't have enough exp or whatever
also it was an excuse to both make a forced joke about boobs AND make a joke about how they're making a forced joke about boobs, satisfying both types of anime fans
Anybody made a webm of Mikatan's beloved hips?
Pretty good episode. The show's already over even showing Yuuta's nosebleeds when they happen let alone trying to be funny about them and a bunch of new points were teased. It's still obviously a game but whatever, it's better to have something happening.
Well, that about sums it up I guess. What the fuck? I feel like I got bait and switched once again.
well is not necessarily because is two cats fucking but is the reaction that comes after that, just casually minimize the window without any reaction and open the right window as if nothing happened
She has great taste in mice
Rat master race
Is it bad I'm more interested in the plot, like who's possessing Yuta and why, and the whole thing with Ito? Pantyshots are more of a bonus for me, and I usually can't get into tsukkomi-style humor.
I don't care if it's trying hard to be funny
I don't care if the boobies mask the intrigue
I don't care if it's being uncaring and flash
It's a colorful anime, and not's just in visual
This is what anime needs right now, color, identity
Not at all
I like how the thing is a visual overload.
It shows effort on part of the production team
It's not bad. Not yet at the very least. We got to learn a lot about the characters of the show this in this episode. While the first episode was more an introduction to the setting and its concepts.
But perhaps it isn't eventful enough for your tastes. But it's not bad.
The first episode was okay, but this episode pretty much relied solely on humor which it completely and utterly failed to deliver in, in my opinion. They repeated the song 3 times I think? and the cat porn gag was funny, but not enough to be immediately used again in the next episode. The characters are fine, I'll give you that.
Why is this song so fun?
Triage uses ero to shill sales.
As in, get behind the paychannel / get the BDs to make us money in order to see tits.
Punchline doesn't seem to be like that. It probably relies on shilling the upcoming game and rely on the twists instead of ero to shill BD sales. Or so I would guess.
Punchline confirmed for Zero Escape 3
Different panties each episode.
But Ito's panties were purple in the PV. Them being blue caught me off guard.
So Rabura wasn't in on the Strange Juice thing. For some reason, episode 1 gave me the impression she was, that she was there on the bus because she was filming it, to raise Strange Juice's profile or something. Though in hindsight, that would be kind of stupid.
She's my favorite punch line.
This show tries too hard. Still pretty fun to watch though.
Meika is the main reason I watch. She's delicious.
See you next week.
A deflationary spiral is a situation where decreases in price lead to lower production, which in turn leads to lower wages and demand, which leads to further decreases in price.
I think it's absolutely fucking insane that /a/ says shows like TTGL have a shit sorry, but say that Punchline has a good one.
Guy sees panties and goes berserk and turns into a ghost and lol funny haha
>duuuhhh wow brety gud 10/10
You've got to be fucking kidding me.
Playing along, so no one would get suspicious. Or something. Again, in hindsight, it makes little sense, considering they'd have to know which bus would get hijacked well in advance and it would have exposed Rabura to way too much danger.
Let's be honest, they just want you to watch some panties and that's exactly what you will get from this.
I didn't know this, but regardless I like Gurren Lagan.
I like this type of fanservice too. It's nice that the panties are just there and not something for MC to fall face first on, this show can have a male MC without his presence turning the girls into exploitable caricatures.
>It's nice that the panties are just there
It's like the South Park episode where they said shit the most time possible in an episode, removing all the meaningless of the swear.
This anime show a lot of pantsu, and all you want to know is what type of pantsu they are .
>what ya lookin, lil' pussy?
Rie Kugimiya >>> ALL!
Some channels have subtitle transcripts for the hearing impaired or for whoever feels like having them. It's a moderately common option.
Japanese image boards and the likes tend to like the option because subtitles really does contribute when it comes to the sharing of scenes through images.
where were you when worst girl was confirmed?
I've never seen such a fucking horrific dropoff from episode 1 to 2
what a shitty season
You'd rather have her play with a fucking gamepad?
Rather boring episode but some hinted plot points are intriguing enough. For some reason I can't stand Pink.
Also, thank you based god for all Kugimiya goodness this season.
Why is best girl of the season trapped in worst show of the season?
>just keep hosting similarish anime
They never did that though. I don't know why, but people appear to have glorified the channel somehow to suit some kind of idea that was just never the case.
The noitaminA block was always just Fuji TV's late night anime block.
noitamina showed shows that were accessible to everyone and largely CoA stories until 2011 ish. Very few titles inbetween its start and then were largely different.
2011 and after saw a lot of ill-fitting shows like shiki, [c], no. 6, and ungo. None of them were terrible or super illfitting, just different.
Then we started to get shit like guilty crown and BRS which were the polar opposite of original noitamina. They went back to their roots for a while with natsuyuki, moyashimon, tsuritama, apollon, etc, but then rebounded with more semi-fitting shows, then leading to the current trend of fan servicey shit.
You dont know what you're talking about.
>Very few titles inbetween its start and then were largely different.
But they weren't largely the same either. Most of them weren't even moderately the same.
Somehow you are pretending that their first 20 shows had some kind of thread binding them together. And that something odd happened when they started airing other shows or something.
But that's not odd at all, because it's no different from how it was ran before.
Do you not know what "accessible to everyone" or "largely CoA stories" means? I mean I literally spoon fed you and you still missed it.
Who even gives a shit, saekano was horrific.
So what are basically saying is that noitaminA was meant to be "accessible to everyone" even though that has never been an official statement from Fuji TV?
And that shows with ero has made it no longer accessible to everyone, because ero is shocking or something?
noitaminA has always been a late night anime block. With shows of various kinds throughout the years ever since the block started. There has been calm shows. Shocking shows. Even a couple of raunchy shows. Unnerving shows. Lighthearted shows. Dramas. Action. And now you are bitching because they are airing a show with surreal themes, lots of twists, and panties?
You are making me so mad that I am starting to believe that you are just shitposting/baiting.
You can think this if you want, I don't even give a shit anymore, you are clearly retarded or fucking around.
