Let's say ufotable decided to milk the fuck out of Fate franchise by doing entire new routes with Shirou partnered with the other servants, having their own happy ending and whatnot.
Which servant would you want to see? How do you think it would pan out?
Shirou and Archer
Shirou and Caster
Shirou and True Assassin
His Mana stat is average and his Magic Resistance is shit. He might have a hard time against Caster. Plus, the only reason he managed to keep up with Gil's 16 Noble Phantasm barrage was due to Mad Enhancement. And he'd almost definitely lose to Heracles. He should be a better match against Assassin than Saber was, but Tsubame Gaeshi would probably fuck him over.
Lancelot's just kind of a poor match for the Fifth War in general.
Shirou convinces Gil that he should be a badass superhero to make people worship him, Gil agrees and after the grail war they put on hilarious costumes and perform flashy rescues.
Archer would kill him.
He might do surprisingly well with Caster, considering Hollow. Plus he'd never betray her, so she probably wouldn't betray him either.
True Assassin would never work out. Their skills don't compliment each other at all and their personalities are a total mismatch.
I want Shirou to summon Enkidu to facilitate UNDERSTANDING.
F/HA demonstrates that every character aside from Kirei manages to survive in at least one possibility, I want this route to have maximum good ends because Gilgamesh as an ally is simply too strong of an advantage.
Enkidu isn't present in HA, however, so as a rule his death too is an inevitability.
A legit Archer route (that doesn't end in Shirou getting killed in five minutes) could potentially be great.
Actually, wait. Gil could work so long as it's Kid Gil rather than Adult Gil. Kid Gil seemed to actually like Shirou quite a bit.
However, Shirou would be pretty damn worthless in such a route. His projection wouldn't be worth shit if Gil's his Servant. There'd be nothing he could do that Gil couldn't.
A Fate route were Arthur is male and Gil is female would be great. Keep the relationship between the two of them the same but make the rest of the route focus on the friendship between Shirou and Arthur instead of having a forced romance like the original route had.
Rin actually had Gil's catalyst. We legitimately could have had two Gils running around.
I'm still hoping we'll see it in Prisma Illya.
It probably won't happen until the next sequel, though. That's assuming neither Shirou or Kuro sacrifice themselves before then, of course.
>Shirou would be pretty damn worthless in such a route.
Good, he'll have Master role rather than hijack Servant role. That's my only complain about Shirou. He's a decently written character but that Stu hijack was a no.
His entire character arc revolves around becoming a hero, and in both cases where he has to step up to the plate he's lost his servant. There's nothing wrong with how he was handled.
Gil Route would probably end up involving him being amused by Shirou wanting to be a hero and letting Shirou do all the work while mocking that the people Shirou wants to save aren't worth it for the most part.
The plot would mostly be about redeeming Humanity in Gil's eyes, I suppose.
Which he can still do without fighting Servants, they could drop the haremshit and make him team up with his Servant vs enemies Masters. Everything is wrong in how he was handled.
That's why the vast majority prefer Fate/Zero and other Fate/ shows over Fate/Stay Night because FSN committed the mistake of have a Master fight a Servant.
Nasu didn't commit this mistake again in Extra.
Well, assuming that Shirou would be able to project weapons, he could use the smaller version of swordspam against masters. He would have an entire treasury to copy after all. However, without a need to fight in place of a Servant, I doubt Shirou would git gud enough to pull it off.
First of all Shirou never gets a harem. Second there's nothing inherently wrong with fight servants. FSN is a story that revolves around the concept of heroes, and the story of its main character is the birth of a hero.
>That's why the vast majority prefer Fate/Zero and other Fate/ shows over Fate/Stay Night
Yeah, you're pulling that out of your ass. The "vast majority" don't prefer the spin offs to the original, unless you're talking about secondaries on youtube, and it's certainly not because Shirou fights servants.
>Also I'd a Kamen Rider-like spinoff like Prisma Illya...
>Shiro using projection to be a neighborhood superhero
Even better! It would be cool if his bladeskin could also be incorporated and he fought purely in hand to hand combat, to evoke Showa as much as possible.
>I want this route to have maximum good ends because Gilgamesh as an ally is simply too strong of an advantage.
If what little I know about Strange Fake says anything, Enkidu and Gil would immediately start fighting each other all-out.
So how he'd look like?
Having a dark-blue/white organic/metallic look akin to a cross between Shin Kamen Rider and Guyver, but with blades and a bladed crown-like crest with glowing red visor-like eyes and Tron-esque lines. He also has the scarf Rin gave to him.
His transformation sequence would be akin to Faiz. Only flashier.
Naturally. The UNDERSTANDING happens after they wrestle for a while. Just as before, a fulfilling fight with Enkidu will even out Gil's temperament. Wiping out 99% of humanity? Forget about it.
How good of a Servant would she be really? I'm guessing at the very least she can use the Gem Sword without it fucking up her body, which in and of itself is already pretty good.
Only bladed, bluish and with a helmet.
Also transformation trinket fused into the chest.
Sounds like shit, to be honest. Also, panders to harem faggots everywhere. Which is why I liked it when the other Servants don't have any routes.
I like how Fate is not really a harem shit story.
I like how Rin moves on and loves another man. I like how Medea is in love, deeply, with Kuzuki. I like how Bazett is all wet for Cu. I wouldn't have had a problem if Medusa made Shinji her lover and converted him from his asshattery. I would not have had a problem if Saber fell in love with Diarmuid. Ilya was simply an imouto. Taiga pining for Kiritsugu I liked too.
Simply speaking, I liked it when they kept having Saber clones falling in love, or, having deep relationships with other men in other games/novels/stories.
FSN is a story of maturation. Of development. Routes with men and women is really useless if you think about it.
I don't agree with that color scheme, I think it would be better if his rider form contrasted his everyday clothing. So yeah, that origin outfit
would work as it is, but it would be really cool if he still wore a scarf with it. I'm torn between the transformation trinket being the more traditional belt or embedded in the chest as you say, both would work anyway.
I agree with how you feel in regards to it not being haremshit, but I don't think routes necessarily push that notion - nothing in the OP states that there need be a new romantic interest in the route you propose. Personally, I'd use them as means to develop Shirou and the other characters in different ways.
Shirou having a not-very-heroic heroic spirit for a partner, for instance, creates a conflict we haven't seen.
Goddamn Inverted Kibisis route when? If Nasu doesn't write it, I'm gonna write it on my own.
Why have it as a super form? I think the red color already works fine as the default. This suggestion would be more Heisei-ish, but maybe Shirou can have different forms that reference different routes, ie a blue and gold form that's much more tougher than the other forms and evokes the Fate route, etc.
If anything Arc Good makes Arc true make no sense, If Arc got a portion of her power back from Roa dying (She gets said portion in true as well) then why the hell would she go back to sleep?
Then we go the Kuuga route here.
And would be a nice way to represent the routes in Fate.
Also opting for a dark, evil powered super form that is the sum of all the bad ends he experiences. And on one point he'd have to fight its physical incarnation.
>I like how Medea is in love, deeply, with Kuzuki.
Nasu says this relationship only happened due to being nice.
>I wouldn't have had a problem if Medusa made Shinji her lover and converted him from his asshattery.
Now you are the one who doesn't realize how he sounds full of shit.
>Simply speaking, I liked it when they kept having Saber clones falling in love, or, having deep relationships with other men in other games/novels/stories.
What the fuck are you talking about?
Final form is...I dunno.
Thought it would be a shiny metallic/prism like form.
Dunno what should it actually be...maybe the whole thing with
Hollow Ataraxia, as well as said dark evil superform yet again coming back to fight him.
Yeah, I'm coming up blank for the final form as well. Something to do with his UBW in the UBW route? You know, something that represents his resolve to chase his ideals, despite knowing the pitfalls that potentially lie in the future. But then, that just sounds like it would be his normal UBW route form.
>That's why the vast majority prefer Fate/Zero and other Fate/ shows over Fate/Stay Night
It is so easy to tell the Fate/Zero samefag posting in this thread.
It's like the newfag to /a/ doesn't realize that even when F/Z was airing, most of the threads were discussing F/SN content than the actual F/Z content.
Also, what other Fate shows?
You mean Carnival Phantasm that doesn't even have any real F/Z episodes?
Just stop posting, you keep embarrassing yourself the more you post
Fate/Zerofags actually believe anyone cares about shitty LN spinoffs like F/A?
You do F/A ended already with just a whimper and no one not ever giving a fuck about spoilers for a shit series like F/A?
HF True, Sakura is still the waifu. This means that the ending for Rin is the same as it was in HF Normal. She will still end up having sex with other men and marrying them to continue the Tohsaka line. There is no way Rin will try to take away anything from a sister of hers who have suffered so harshly the way Sakura did.
So what would Shirou be called? Would he still be called Kamen Rider, or would he be Kamen
Nero falls for Hakuno
Jeanne falls for Sieg
Mordred has a deep relationship with Kairi
Artoria wants Diarmuid to love her
Those are the only Saber clones I can think of right now.
