There should be a second season, or an OVA of sakura trick.
The tricks are dead.
I'll never let it go.
>you will never have a pure yuri baby with another 2d girl
>yuru yuri(a yuri anime)
>a yuri anime
Except it's just all subtext and played off as a joke.
That series isn't going anywhere with itself in a time loop. It's really boring and a joke to yuri.
I have a hard time not fapping to SonoHana. Not just when watching it, mind, but at any given moment, I wonder why I'm doing whatever I'm doing instead of fapping to SonoHana and often don't have a good answer
It just gives me this fluffy feeling of happiness.
Mah niggas. It gets so much unnecessary hate but I'm glad some anons like it as well. We just have to deal with slow manga translations for now unless you can read moon. S2 is probably never happening unfortunately.
I can't remember anything else I watched last year besides Sakura Trick so it wins by default.
Not him, but my guess is the lack of progress.
I used to really like YRYR but when I watched Sakura Trick for the first time I felt like pic related.
So the promotional material always pairs up the main couple.
If there's any more than that, it's either haremshit or you got some shitty love triangle. Outside of very rare occasions, you're gonna be dealing with a show that cannot balance its love triangle with other elements, so the second it even broaches the topic the show's momentum hits a brick wall.
So any romance show worth giving your attention to has clearly defined couples. So what's the fucking point of 12 episodes? There's three thresholds you have to cross. Catalyst for attention, realize their feelings, and reciprocate. Literally everything else is just filler.
Sakura Trick (unintentionally) defies that, crams the first two into palatable flashbacks and completes the third in the first few minutes of episode one.
So what's the rest of the series about? Two people trying every day to make their relationship better, even when they're already madly in love. Haruka does everything she can to spend more time with Yuu, helping her study or just finding excuses to be affectionate. They're constantly checking each other's boundaries, toying with their likes and dislikes and for how bratty Yuu is, she knows where to draw the line and reel Haruka back in. The only romantic obstacle is treated as a joke(and obviously has her own girlfriend in line). The two leads are quite candid and animated.
For all anime's predilections towards hamhanded romance, they sure don't like focusing on the fun parts.
It was good at first but then it was
>WOAH LETS JUST KISS IN THE MOST SECRET OF PLACES THIS WILL SELL!
Good thing it didn't because it was a fucking snooze fest.
I wanted to see Kaede and Yuzu get jiggy.
You what, mate? While the joke are still louder, the characters are starting to get alot of romantic development throughout the series.
Seriously, Himawari and Sakurako alone guarantees a hate sex ending
The only bland character is Kyoko who is so dense, she can pass of as a Harem MC, which unfortunately she is.
The yuri is for real and it is there to stay
There's some rimming in one of the Mai/Reo games.
