I want to date Michiru.
This show is getting more Evangeliony by the minute.
>implying any anime doesn't want to be Evangelion.
Somehow this is actually getting me excited. What if this is a sign that they're going to try going off the rails, trying to pull off a ridiculously leftfield ending like Eva's? What does it all mean?
That's what you thought was the dumbest part of the episode? Not the fact that most of the episode was about the MC being the most cringy dipshit of the year? I had to pause the episode so much because of how much of an embarrassment that fucker was making of himself, and he's not even a real person.
>not doing that and more to get the attention of a girl
>he's not even a real person
But MC isn't a Giftia.
Comedy was cringeworthy and annoying, I skipped most of it. It was still just a comedy relief though, while the rule will have lasting consequences and was just a stupid excuse to get them in the same flat.
This episode was a reaction face goldmine.
What did you say?
Other than main characters living together aka pivotal development for the future, finding out that Isla actually remembers her first encounter with Tsukasa and also knowing why was she there at that point? Not so much.
Agreed. She will never match Isla's perfection.
No I would've been glad that it wouldn't have been overblown like in most anime. This was just terrible overuse of the same comedic gag and an excuse for doing nothing in terms of characterization or plot. I didn't expect much so I couldn't care less, but it remains that it was terrible.
I'm running through my mind a lot of endings given the tone so far but I can't think of many actual happy ones given how half the cast is guaranteed to figuratively die soon. I really like the comedy but that thought just detracts from it.
>3 months remaining before she dies
>Move him in with her
They just want to see MC's pure heart break don't they?
She'd be an ice queen like pic related until you whisper that you love her into her ear, and she becomes completely submissive.
I'm calling this now, MC will never have giftia waifu, and she'll end up with her memories deleted. To honor her MC will keep her same body and write how she previously was and teach it to the new giftia. Michiru will eventually see the true colors of the MC and knowing anime girls, being nice = pussy, she will fall in love and all that jazz.
What was Zack implying?
Why are they so perfect together?
Would you live next door to her? And have her walk over your balls everytime you fuck something up?
This show is about MC overcoming stupid 2D/Android obsession realizign he was fool all along for being attached to "thing", and getting together with real 3D girl for purpose of procreation.
yes, with a little of I, Robot too
More like Plastic Feet. Pero pero pero pero pero
Is she also a raging lesbian?
>newfags dont know how to spell Mahoromantic
Indeed it was.
>You'll never get a foot job from her while she looks at you like this.
When I try to imagine what a giftia must feel like, I keep thinking she looks real, but when you touch her she's cold. When you embrace her there's nothing like fat or muscle or bone, it's plastic stretched over a doll. She's way too heavy to lift off her feet, her moves resist you like a cage, and her grip can crush your fingers like skinny breadsticks.
Somehow I'm really turned on by this.
Learn how to redirect newshit. Having read a book before isn't something that is associated with /v/ or MAL. You'll often see Kafka brought up on /a/, same with Kubrick, because both of these are referenced all the time in anime. Don't be surprised when something references, or in this case literally copies, an older work.
People read and know it. The problem is some newfag crossborder that does not know iconic Gainax anime PL directly takes cues from (also includes other Gainax references too) and instead quotes shitty /tv/ media.
I wish they actually made Isla flat chested.
Zach's smug faces are too much
Shotadom doujins when
I can tell this'll be a goldmine for smug.
This entire show is retarded. If it was so "dangerous" to have giftias go past 80k hours why not just have a built in mechanism to automatically shut them down? That's like giving someone an atom bomb that'll explode in 9 years and saying "Now we'll be be back to disarm it in 9 years, please sign the release form or the whole city will get leveled".
And what happens if the owner refuses, does the giftia stay and turn into rain man or is it removed by force? This show is basically a cheap reworking of guy falls in love with girl dying of some illness....oh noes they have such little time. The whole sci-fi crap is just filler.
>Now we'll be be back to disarm it in 9 years, please sign the release form or the whole city will get leveled
This is mighty retarded but far more entertaining than what the show has to offer.
Let's talk about Kazuki's nice butt.
Which robot would you get into?
To be fair, the character designer is Okiura the character designer behind IS.
>Six (6) fingers
No. Isla will remain Isla. No becoming human nor will her consciousness transfer into another Gifta.
MC is going to find a way for the Giftas not to go through personality disintergration nor memory loss after nine years, he'll discover how to increase the Giftas longevity comparable to that of human life.
does /a/ actually like michiru or are we just being ironic?
she seems like the kind of girl who'd spit in your mouth while beating the shit out of you and calling you worthless, and no one wants that, right?
>she seems like the kind of girl who'd spit in your mouth while beating the shit out of you and calling you worthless
How is to gay to not want Michiru it "spit in my mouth" and "beat the shit out of me?"
I think I speak for everyone here when I say no one wants to get physically (or sexually, for that matter) abused by Michiru Kinushima.
>I think I speak for everyone
Speak for yourself.
"Spit in your mouth," "beat the shit out of you." Is perfect, for the inevitable love confession and then the subsequent hatesex from all the bottle up UST.
>while fucking a robot
I don't want to fuck something that won't react, Anon.
You're telling me you'd rather fuck Michiru? The entire time she's insulting you and belittling you for your tiny dick INSTEAD of fucking Isla who'd just lie there like a dead fish?
Well, yeah. Why wouldn't I want that?
She'll belittle me at first, then eventually she'll start getting into it then next thing you know I'll be posting pictures of her for you that are best suited in a site for ahegao pics.
The dick always win, they can't hold out forever.
What the fuck?
The point was that you could take any show with clichéd scenes and juxtapose similarly clichéd shots from the gazillion other shows with the same tropes and then claim it "copied from them".
Been disappointed with every episode. Nothing about this anime is remotely grabbing me in any way. As a general rule of thumb a series should have things in place in episode one that pull you in, but this has nothing. I've only watched up to three because it's airing...had this been an old one on YT that someone recommended then I would have watched half of episode one and dropped it.
At least she finally smiled outside of op.
Man, fuck you guys. I went into this expecting hot tsundere and cute awkward loli and while I got that plus protective christmas cake, I wasn't expecting ALL THESE FEELINGS HOLY SHIT
Isla and Tsukasa will get very close but their feelings will remain unspoken, At their tearful goodbye right before her memories are erased (she'll never tell him it's going to happen and he'll only find out at the last minute and race there to see her one last time) she'll ambiguously say "thank you."
Some time later, he'll come across her reprogrammed body somewhere. She'll have an entirely different personality, but will be carrying that ugly charm thing he gave her. He'll notice it, and she'll say it was with her when she first woke up and that she's certain it's important to her, even though she doesn't know why. The end.
Oh yeah, and he'll never, ever get to fuck Michiru.
mc is pretty alpha
I'd say he's pretty confident, he doesn't hesistate to put moves on robo-loli, he is good with people and good at his job despite being dropped in at the deep end, he successfully asks her out on a date and even gives her presents despite her not accepting them from anyone.
I'm so sad. Why does noone care about this beauty? This miracle of the universe?
"Error. I was not programmed for these tasks."
Now let's not ignore the elephant in the room and talk about the real romantic interest in this work of art.
He goes for the midriff, good choice. I approve.
Also, has anyone of you /a/nons considered Isla and Giftias in general may be like the T800 series Terminators?
In other words, de-boned human body with inserted endoskeleton and supercomputer.
For all we know, Isla could have a real pussy.
Oh right...so what was going on there?
She clearly disapproves of intimate human/giftia relationships so he probably lives the life on the unfaithful husband /ss/ing it up with distressed former clients.
Disappointing glares from redheads. Mmm, yes.
How long can you watch this gif without feeling seriously uncomfortable?
>implying anything but a "tears in the rain" end is possible
>that completely cliche third episode
And to think this show had even an OUNCE of potential.
True. Also the way he was told was kinda bullshit. "Oh by the way, didn't you know, you'll have to move out of wherever and however you're living right now and move in with your robot ladypartner at our company campus. When? We'll tonight already of course."
Living together with the giftia is a rule there, but not necessarily living in the dorm, and Hanada for example is never there for his giftia. They just said it would be easier for him to move since Isla already lived there.
And to be honest, it's probably because of all this unconventional stuff that the main company dislikes them.
She is the second best among equals.
I wake you up and as I stare in your face you seem stunned.
Remember me, the one you got your personality from?
Owners have to present to make sure that memories which supposedly disintegrate aren't used against them? Isn't that a bit contradictory?
Are there Nigerians selling unretrieved giftias?
>The annoying person?
HNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG, Isla a best.
Crazy plot twists that probably won't happen
>everyone is actually robots
>the giftias are actually human minds while everyone else is an AI
>there is no advanced AI it's just human minds being translated due to body failures
>you will never cheer up a depressed moebot
