How long is it going to take until they become a real couple? At least let Ran know the truth already.
God dammit I'm sick of Ran, she either does nothing or has a some flashback about Sinichi with the same fucking song (you know the one)
Even Ayumi is a better option at this point.
i don't hate her but i feel like the relationship is too distant and she should just move on. everytime its usually ran trying to make the relationship happen but it never comes from him since he is so busy with the cases, so it feels like unrequited love.
>>Did he think nobody would loose interest?
>Still in top 5 for tv ratings in japan
Inconsequential for chosen rhetorical question.
I wonder how many people dropped following the main plot.
>crime procedural drama
Fuck this. A crime procedural drama does not have a interesting main plot that goes nowhere...
At least they have real cops. Though I guess this is because of shit child actors.
>how is this show still popular.
Because fans watch Detective Conan on TV, thus its TV ratings are high. As for watching streaming versions on tablets and phones, One Piece is beats Detective Conan by far. Ironically, on a time slot versus time slot basis when they go head to head, Detective Conan wins quite a lot of the time. This doesn't mean Conan is more popular than OP. It just means that most viewers watch it on TV and not streaming. If you total up all of OP's more numerous timeslots and streaming, it is more popular than Conan in terms of total viewer count.
I'm just glad Detective Conan didn't try to add a cute animal sidekick to the episodes just to sell more merchandise.
Detective Conan's initial release usually beats One Piece's first episode release (sunday). So on a head to head "first time the episode is shown" ratings, Conan leads One Piece (at least for the Dressrosa arc).
How does he still find creative murder case plots anyway? Shit must be starting to get rehashed after more than 700 chapters
Woah, I went temporarily blind trying to focus on all the numbers
It's the circumstances and people involved that make cases different. Conan is also one of those shows that brings in cultural items from real-life japan into the episodes, so they have a lot of verisimilitude. Occasionally, Conan travels to other parts of Japan and you might see certain landmarks depicted as well.
I also like "okoge" and even try to make it (with as little rice as possible). I didn't know the name for it until I saw that mentioned on Conan. Okoge with butter is great. Picture related.
They sure do go thru a wide variety of places, situations, and locales in Detective Conan.
>implying that even a year has passed within the show
>years pass, the kid does not grow.
If he got much older, then he couldn't take baths with Ran.
Amazingly, Kudou Shinichi came across an oppai loli.
Chopper seems like an ideal plushie especially if it's life-sized. If you buy stateside, it's difficult to be sure that it's not a knock-off counterfeit since the chinese pirates reproduce everything including the official label and hologram stickers when applicable. J-list carried pirate goods before and sold them as authentic.
Years ago I read about the first 30 volumes or so of the manga, but dropped it then
Seeing how it has a shitton more, I just got one question
Is ran still clueless about what happened to her boyfriend, or has she realized by now who that little midget is
The Simpsons doesn't make money from ratings. It makes money from royalties and merchandise. They really are going to keep it going until the voice actors die. Fucking look what it's become.
My mom really likes it also I used to have it on for background noise
plus I made a point to watch the vidya episode which was worth it
