Why does this man have no fucking range? Every character he voices, its the same copy and paste over and over again. It's not a bad voice, its just fucking annoying to hear it on two completely different characters.
It's already happening, She's become so popular people are already hating on the glorious Saori.
There are tons of VA's with bad range but great acting skills, Midorikawa is one of those.
/a/ seems to love hating on based Matsuoka lately too because he voices characters they hate, but his acting skills is nothing to laugh at.
It's just grating when I've associated a VA with a certain character, pic related for Midorikawa and then hearing that exact same voice for a character like Mikage or Ayato where it just doesn't fit.
Yes, and I still hear Koyasu in fairly recent shows from time to time, unlike that guy. It could be that Midorikawa also appears just as frequent but I just never hear it.
Midorikawa gets more work in visual novels these days than he does anime roles. So unless you're an avid player of otome, it makes sense you'd think he's taken a back seat in the VA world.
I know Midorikawa is in Kekkai Sensen this season, but Koyasu is in like 10 shows, so I guess you're right. I really like both of them so it's a win-win situation for me.
he makes up for the raw emotion he pours into his characters. and is a really cool guy.
First thing I watched with this guy in it was oreimo, it was weird watching clannad and hyouka because i kept being reminded of incest.
You could say the same for Nobuyuki Hiyama, but at least he got typecasted into "the guy who shouts a lot and gets overly passionate".
People always say this, but it's wrong. She has a fuck load of range, you just only recognise her when she does her flat chested tsundere.
Consider her male roles like the guy in Nyaruko or the god in NGNL, or Kagura in Gintama.
>you will never have bros like nakamura, sugita and sakurai
Ishida was/is/will forever be cute as fuck
Hearing him voice just about any kind of character is always an absolute joy. I really like his personality too: https://youtu.be/QK8XXm4ExcA?t=16m17s (he's been mostly wiping his nose on his sleeve and staring at the floor for the previous 15 minutes. love it.)
His teenage girl voice isn't bad at all.
Reminds of an idea I'll never see where we have a dating sim with character designs by Tsuanko, but the girls are all voiced by male seiyuu.
It's kind of jarring seeing long-hair Koyasu again after so long.
Also, Hekiru Shiina really just disappeared, didn't she? (Miyamuu too for the most part, but she's sick, so she has an excuse.) There are rumors that she was a bitch and really difficult to work with, so she probably brought it on herself.
She's 17 years old. Also, don't you dare talk shit about Onee-chan.
Goddamn, his mom and grandma voices are something else. If you didn't know what this was you'd swear it was an older woman talking.
And why has nobody given him a role as a teenage girl yet?
I have the same problem with him that I have with Hiroko Taguchi, in that the first big role I heard him in was as a character I really really hated, and the similarity of his voice has tainted my enjoyment of everything he's done since.
What little range he might have, he makes up for in acting talent.
Also nice quads.

I don't care for his acting/roles one bit but damn if I don't love him solely because of his work ethic. One rumor (can't find the source, grain of salt, probably mistranslated bs etc.) has it that he got into a big accident and was still trying to hustle while being carried away on a stretcher.
That's because Koyasu plays every goddamn cliche anime villain man ever, which is a job you can keep up forever. (see: Wakamoto) Midorikawa even now is primarily a bishounen seiyuu and there are not that many chances for 46 year old guys to play bishounen in anime these days.
