In less than Twenty-Four Hours, I, the great Doctor Gilgamesh, will perform a medical miracle onto this young girl sleeping on the ground!
Don't miss it, mongrels.
Finally, been waiting the whole week for this.
Honestly, if they leave the gore only implied, it would still be better than the DEEN scene. I mean from a dramatic standpoint. In terms of humor, DEEN wins hands down. Illya apparently has more blood in her tiny frame than several body builders put together.
Shirou has a thing for being dominated.
I wonder what's UFO's take on the heart would look like compared to DEEN'S.
And the best heroine.
It wasn't censorship, it works better that way.
You see the sword swing, you see Illya's face and hear the cutting sound, then black screen and you see Shirou's reaction as you go
>wtf just happened did he just...?
Cue loli suffering
>YOOO he fucking slashed her eyes???
And then Gil moves his hand with a "whatever" look on his face and you hear the piercing sound and go
>No way, did he just...?
No gore, no explicit shit, just Gil doing shit to her body in a far shot while Shirou gets up and then cut to Illya's heart in Gil's hand, maybe in a little pouch made of Illya's torn shirt.
If anyone actually even cares to see the scene anymore that is.
That shit should have been in the last episode. UFO dropped the ball hard on this. I cant believe whoever directed Dr.Gill at DEEN did a better job.
Yeah, this seems the most likely.
If they were going to have it be some big dramatic moment they would've put it at the end of last episode, not at the beginning of an episode.
They aren't straying away from the blood, but the point of the scene isn't the gruesome nature and heart-ripping like DEEN's. It's cruel, but they aren't making it comical levels of stupid gore. They're trying to take it seriously instead.
They'll make it clear what's happening, yet at the same time they won't make it super overt like DEEN's blood rocket version.
At the same time they'll probably show what's happening enough, since they will need to show the heart as Gilgamesh walks around with it.
Doctor Gil! Doctor Gil! Where will we be able to find a heart for this man?
Forget about this heart surgery business - This episode signals the true beginning of the Season of Lancer.
Thank you, Based Dog.
's what I said, "Everyone here a shit"
If you think it's those other fags because fuck them, well you probably belong here, because without much chance you're probably kind of shit.
Just the other day we had a thread pull of people proclaiming Rin was best girl.
It's cause she is.
Why did they animate saber in this pose?
>It was already correct.
Do you want to start this?
Tell me where you live OP. I'm gonna come to your house and kick you cat.
Every protective instinct I have as a man was activated in this episode.
HA doesn't follow any route. It's explained later.
And the amount of scenes a character gets is sometimes uneven. Like, for a plot reason, you're not gonna see Rin for a while, but once she's back in, you're gonna have a fuckton of Rin scenes.
Fate/Hollow Ataraxia is a different continuity than what we have seen in F/SN.
It's all Avenger's dream so none of it actually happened and actual Shirou was doing something with Luvia offscreen.
There is a bunch of Sakura scenes because Angry Manjew wants some of that Grail.
>implying I was giving implications that you were
Gilgamesh's dexterity stat is pretty high. In the current episode, he drew a SABER and used it to cut across Illya's eyes, thus blinding her. But he didn't use the SABER to slash the rest of her face. Did other viewers of this episode note that he used a SABER and not a regular sword or spear? I thought that was rather poetic of the screenplay write to have Gilgamesh use a SABER on Illya.
It was just like Saber was in this episode all along! Courtesy of the Great Doctor Gilgamesh. Bow lower please, you mongrels.
There is literally one shitposter who began the cancer of " I'm going to post this every... Until you like it" thanks to his autistic devotion to wormslut. Don't try to deny this.
Oh that, that's a different universe entirely. That phone scene was looking into random realities.
The only scene where regular "Hollow" Shirou shows up is in the epilogue in Eclipse.
god u★s★o★p★p★ please come and save Illya! Without Illya there's no Kuro too.
He's not a fan, that's just 4chan culture at this point, despite how shit that phrase is.
Half the people from /a/ probably don't even know that image comes from Fate, or why they post it. It's just "culture" to post that image daily.
It's how memes start, do shit often enough, it takes on a life of its own, sooner or later some fag is doing it without knowing shit about what it means.
>Oh that, that's a different universe entirely
Was it? I distinctly remember some translations of Hollow Material saying what was Shirou doing during the events of Hollow.
They might have been fakes so who knows.
Think Fate has a few like that actually
"People die when they're killed", almost everyone doesn't know shit about what that line really meant in context. It was just a meme, just like Dr.Gilgamesh is at this point.
I don't believe so. You look at that Eclipse scene, which is supposed to take place after everything, and it just seems to be a regular Hollow Shirou who isn't going out on missions.
The Shirou who was with Luvia was hunting Dead Apostles I think.
Say it how you will, that image is kind of entirely disconnected to Fate threads at this point. Has been for about five years now. It's like how Piccolo Dick and Daily Dose don't really have anything to do with DBZ.
If anyone is seriously arguing "This girl doesn't have fans, she's shit" about any of them outside of waifu-shit-flinging though, that's a bit of stupid.
There's a lot of blood in a human body, Anon. Tearing out a still-beating heart is pretty much the only circumstance where you would get it to come pumping out at high pressure.
>Shirou throws a sword
>Gilgamesh goes "Hoh, trying to make me die laughing, alright I'll play with you for the next hour"
>Gil makes it a note to always match him throwing the same number of swords while having fun making fun of this shit kid, laughing about how cocky he is, and not really trying to kill him at all
>Shirou slowly gets used to his ability.
>Gilgamesh and Shirou throw some swords
>Gilgamesh pulls out Ea to do a very small blast to brag, "Haha, fucking kid"
>Archer blocks it with Rho Aias while in spirit mode
>GIlgamesh goes "What the fuck? Why are you alive? Well whatever"
>Throw more swords, not really trying seriously to kill him because "Haha, mongrels, women and childs"
>Gil makes fun of Shirou's ideals
>Shirou goes "Uh uh, no you dong, fuk you m8 aggwaggler. My ideals aren't stupid, they are awesome, and best, and gr8"
>Casts UBW while GIl is still floundering around
>Gilgamesh has trouble attacking back as he suddenly starts realizing this might be trouble
>"Well this kid is all up ons mes, but I think I'll try pulling out Ea. That always solves things, despite how he's five inches from my face right now"
>Shirou cuts his arm off while he's reaching in his gate
>Gil goes "Haha, well whtever fgt" and tries to run off, while Shirou chases
>Angya suddenly tries incarnating into Gilgamesh since Shinji was disconnected, and Gil becomes a black hole.
>People upset at Gil
If you don't want to die don't go to war
>There's a lot of blood in a human body, Anon.
>Tearing out a still-beating heart is pretty much the only circumstance where you would get it to come pumping out at high pressure.
Dr Gilgamesh can skillfully excise an opening without tearing it out forcefully and everyone can watch it beat. Detective Conan is a family type show, and yet they showed this type of illya gusher uncensored....
Hey /a/, can we talk about the pacing in UBW?
Do you think things are moving too fast, too slow or just right?
>Gil swordspams in increasing amounts
>Shirou blocks swordspam by copying the swords
>Gil uses vanilla Ea on Shirou (not the world-destroying OP version)
>Shirou barely manages to block it with Rho Aias (it's implied it was actually Archer)
>Shirou casts UBW
>UBW turns out to be a perfect counter as its speed at producing swords is greater than GoB
>Shirou gets now to go melee against Gil, both disarm each other several times
>Shirou is faster at making new weapons, and starts dominating
>His fakes can break Gil's originals
>Gil finally decides to be serious and grabs Ea
>Shirou cuts his arm before he can use it
>Gil flees like a pussy, Shirou pursues him ready to finish him off
>Outside UBW, the grail is fucked up so Gil, who was being sustained by it gets pulled into a void.
>Gil tries to pull Shirou with him with his chain
>Shirou won't give up
>Archer appears and headshots Gil
It would be fine if I didn't know they're going to add more anime original stuff. It's hard to see where there will be room to add that in addition to Archer vs. Shirou, Gilgamesh vs. Shirou, attic scenes and aftermath, the climax, and denouement, unless there's another hour special or two in there.
The finale is going to be an hour long, meaning the whole season is going to be 14 half hours, plus whatever additional content will be added in the BDs. Episode 14, for instance, had 7 minutes removed from its broadcast version.
It really annoys me that Archer retains enough mana to do all the shit he does, even after being without a Master for a long while and after fighting Shirou to the point of multiple fatal wounds.
Ufotable went on Twitter and said 7 minutes were cut and will be added on the home release. People who went to the screening mentioned stuff about how her master wanted her to summon a dragon and stuff, which was nowhere in the broadcast version.
>>>Shirou barely manages to block it with Rho Aias (it's implied it was actually Archer)
It's flat out said in an interview that it was Archer at the time
Shirou traced Rho later on, but before that he had not seen it.
>Q: In the end of the Rin route, was it Shirou that projected Rho Aias in the Shirou vs Gilgamesh fight? Or was it Archer? In Fate/side material, it's said that it was projection magic from Archer, but in the story, there was the depiction of Shirou "pulling the shield from the hill". Does this mean that this switched to Archer's scene?
>A: This has been easy to misunderstand, but the part about Archer supporting Shirou was the time before Shirou pulled out Rho Aias, before Shirou came to his realization.
>After Shirou's monologue about his surprise that he was still alive after taking Gil's attack, "If I survived, there must have been a reason why I survived. But that was simply something I didn't have any control over."
>That was the "Rho Aias" that Archer made to help Shirou in a way that wouldn't let Gilgamesh know there was someone else waiting to ambush him.
Nothing is Implied
>>Outside UBW, the grail is fucked up so Gil, who was being sustained by it gets pulled into a void.
Seems I'm just going to have to keep responding to this post, but that also isn't correct.
Angya wants to incarnate, after Shinji was disconnected it tried to reach out to the next closest thing that was connected to it in some sense, which was Gilgamesh. Gil went "This stupid thing, doesn't it realize it literally can't use me, I won't be able to give it a body like that" so he becomes a black hole instead.
The grail was not maintaining Gilgamesh at all, that's like saying "At the end of Zero GIlgamesh was poofed away because the grail was destroyed"
He has an incarnated body, he's not being maintained by shit, but the grail tried to use him as a body to incarnate into while reaching out after losing Shinji, but it couldn't use him like that since he's by some rights still a servant.
However nothing is maintaining him, not any grail is maintaining him. The grail could have been blown up dozens of ways and it would never poof him away, but since he happened to be close by and by some rights his body was alive because of it, the grail tried to use his body as a new "Shinji" to attempt to be birthed like it did in another route as well.
Reason Gil was taken over wasn't because he was sustained by anything. By all rights he was alive and did not need mana.
>The grail was not maintaining Gilgamesh at all, that's like saying "At the end of Zero GIlgamesh was poofed away because the grail was destroyed"
It's not. Gil's not a proper servant in SN, the body he has is tied to Angry Manjew's existance.
>By all rights he was alive and did not need mana.
False, he needed a full basement full of orphan bateries. How the fuck did you forget that?
Seems you need to read the VN again, pal.
I just finished the VN 100% last week. It was shit, I can't believe I kept going expecting it to be better in different routes but I kept telling myself that this was probably popular for a good reason.
This is Cross-Ange and Mahouka tier bad.
>False, he needed a full basement full of orphan bateries. How the fuck did you forget that?
Did you forget that he actually didn't need them at all, and that it was being covered in the grail's shit after it exploded in the fourth war that granted him his body permanently?
Orphans were just extra food for him.
The main draw for Ilya was Heaven's Feel
After F/SN is all said and done, people will rewatch F/Z and cry
The only positive thing I can say about Fate Stay Night was that I adored Ilya in Heaven's feel.
>False, he needed a full basement full of orphan bateries. How the fuck did you forget that?
Why are you so stupid?
>Independent Action: A+
>With an Independent Action rank that sets him completely apart from the rest, Gilgamesh is able to operate without a Master. >With a rank of A+ that exceeds even A, the support of a Master is unnecessary even while unleashing a large amount of magical power. It is an ability that bends the rules and allows for the continued materialisation of Servants even after the conclusion of the Holy Grail War. After being summoned as Archer during the Fourth Holy Grail War, Gilgamesh remained materialised for 10 years until the Fifth.
>Since the Fourth Holy Grail War, the ability to freely operate without regard for the Master remained unchanged. However, the ability to remain materialised after the Holy Grail War was not gained until he was showered by the content of the Holy Grail. At the end of the Fourth Holy Grail War, Gilgamesh was absorbed for a while after being showered by the black mud spilled from the broken vessel of the Holy Grail. However, Gilgamesh could not even be digested by the mud that was filled with “All the World’s Evil – Angra Mainyu”. On the contrary, he was given a flesh body and regurgitated back into the present world. As a result, Gilgamesh was completely incarnated and continued to survive as an existence with a physical body. Also worth mentioning is that, thanks to the changed shape and personality granted by the potion of youth, the super egotistical Gilgamesh was able to live in the human society for 10 years without much trouble.
They covered in the game how he doesn't "Need" the orphans, he will never poof away even without them, they have no effect on that. They are only spare batteries so he can use his NPs. He has a real physical body, he will never poof, however he needs mana if he feels like using his magic offhand.
I'm kind of slowpoking here, but I just found the HF trailer, and I heard that Ufotable wants HF to be it's best production to date.
First time I've heard of it, and it was in a youtube comment. How true is it?
That's his full power costume
If he was wearing that, Shirou would have been dead before the fight start. It's the suit he wears when the concept of holding back is lost on him, as he's showing that he's Demi-Fiend.
He's only worn it twice, in Ataraxia and CCC.
They've mentioned it twice recently, and apparently there's something going down soon with it in a few months.
Although it wasn't really specific what was happening, other than "A few things in May, including a manga, but be sure to be listening".
Even Tamamo said there was something happening that Month.
