Time to get blown
There must be more to life.
He is Goto, he likes chuba.
WHOS THIS QT?
Goto is too moe for this world.
I think Reina is as bad at interacting with people as Kumiko is, it just comes off as cool standoffish indifference rather than awkwardly blurting stuff out. They need to get closer before we can tell anything about what she does or doesn't really feel.
I bet she was worrying about being rude to Kumiko all day until she managed to work up the nerve to apologize, just like Kumiko was about what she said at the concert.
This is why we can't have nice things.
I hope they give us an episode or at least half about these two.
This kind of kinda annoyed, kinda angry, kinda pls calm down Geh Shuichi x Kumiko thing makes my cock hard. Hopefully something happens besides the teasing.
She reminds of best girl from Nozaki-kun
I know they will never go this deep, but it's like they can take any of these background characters and tell us something about them.
I want to make her take out her headphones
Is $350 worth it for the official uniform costume set? Does not include wig, socks, or shoes.
Kinda expensive, if you know how to sew and can buy materials for cheap locally make it yourself.
I thought they were always behind buildings, and never that big. This one is quite substantial and is between school buildings.
Is she even needed?
How do you from this
They should do this one and steamroll the competition: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NS_TReosVLg
They don't even know how to blow, breath, nor have the stamina to do it for a whole session, practicing without the basics only gets you so far.
How can you be bad at breathing? I just haven't met anyone in concert band who was incapable of blowing into their instrument before.
And even if such a person does exist, that would be a special case and you would make them go practice on their own, not waste everyone else's time as well.
I liked it. It does feel a little
forcedthat all of the sections have slackers and clashing personalities and problems with the teacher... except for the one the main character is in, which consists entirely of cool, mature people who are totally above all that.
I hope he helps build her up as a proper leader. Buffaloing people into practicing isn't the only thing an adviser is supposed to do.
y-yeah buying it for a g-girl in my life... right. About that...
>make it yourself
It's going to be a monstrosity if /a/ tried to sew, if people even make it past puncturing themselves in the hand with needles
I want Kumiko to hold me close.
Empty classrooms that the band members use for practice and are ripe with eavesdroppers. Nice deduction there, Sherlock.
Because she can't even run properly. Weak legs.
There are machines for that, I expect every /cgl/ dyke to own one, if they don't have one buying an used one is pretty cheap. Also, it's not like making an uniform is hard, just grab a sailorfuku pattern from the web, and adjust accordingly for the UFO colors and little extra bits.
I'm a guy, I don't even like cosplay.
>Sensei was acting the villain to motivate niggas
Based as fuck.
Also this scream was pretty moe.
So is he good or evil?
Literally, a perfection.
>can't change pitch with only her mouthpiece
No wonder she's depressed. She kind of sucks. That, or the band program I was is was really good.
>Reminds me of the guy last week saying good players don't need a metronome to practice
That was fun/annoying too.
It's like every thread we get an almost-made-it trying to prove his shitty skills no one acknowledged irl.
I think he's going to turn out to be doing his best and be right about most stuff, but also always have experience knowing how to deal with a disparate group of teenagers instead of something more formal, like what Shuuichi said about him not having Reina's back.
I know some poorer schools won't let students take their instrument home, but expect them to practice at home. So the kids are forced to buy or rent a mouthpiece and use that to substitute the instrument itself when practicing because the school refuses to adjust its curriculum to account for economic reality.
I get this weird feeling that I like this show too much. That I overrate it.
Even though there are some very noticable clichés and is in essence just cute girls doing cute things, it feels realistic and I like the depressing undertones.
If it continues to bring the quality directing- and story-wise that it did the last couple of episodes, it may become one of my favorites. Am I overrating this show?
Natsuki's always sleeping because she's secretly a Precure
That's my son... I mean Daughter.
Cunning just like her father unlike Shinji. I have no son, I only have a daughter.
They've just never seen her do it. They assume she's crap because she's never been motivated to show them what she's really knows how to do. Try-hards have come and gone, no sense in getting excited just because a few people say "this year for sure!"
I mean exactly that. That /a/ would try to use a machine and run the needle straight through their own fingers. Yeah, making a sailor uniform is easy, but making is a GOOD one that's form-fitting is beyond most people's skills.
It's not cosplay until you've bled into it
I wanna chill with her, listen to music, not talk to each other,
fuck with a boring face during summer because there's nothing better to do and it's fucking hot.
Best girl, pixiv needs to step it up.
That's not saying much. I like this show but there's too many characters so far and it took 4 episodes just to get things moving finally. I'm having a hard time imagining this ending well. This should have been 2 cour with this setup they have.
She's in the background anon.
Many of us crossboard to other boards that require skill for their related hobby.
Gunpla builders, /g/ autists running servers with multiple VMs, /ck/ fags that know how to bake at least, /fit/izens who know how clean and jerk without dying, etc. There must be at least a few cappable at sewing.
Or does every /cgl/ scum buy their shit from rakuten?
In this moment I am euphonic, not because of any anime studio but because I am enlightened by my own moe.
This is 100% true. Breathing exercises are one of the most important things, especially when starting out. I never played wind instruments and even I know this. The other anon is probably lying.
Ribbon chan's friend is so cheeky
Most of /cgl/ doesn't seem like they've ever done a proper, form-fitting seifuku in their lives. It's not a flashy costume and doesn't shown off boobs in most cases, so the attention whores aren't in for it. Store-bought ones tend to be extra roomy to account for different body sizes, so they hide all curves and make the wearer look fat. Or people buy super-tight ones that look like catholic schoolgirl fetish play.
Shuichi is a beta.
Thank you, indeed Kumiko felt like she was going to make her pay for talking behind sensei's back.
I will never understand the French Horn.
To be fair, one thing that the show's gotten right so far is that left to decide what kind of breathing exercises they should do, 16-year olds chose circular breathing (because it's more sexy than practical) and the teacher chose more fundamentals.
Circular breathing is a waste of time if you can't even honk out a decent sound, or play in time, or keep from squeaking.
Gosh her face is to Lewd
That was a mistranslation by CR, anon. There's been a few.
Where were you when slacker-chan didn't fucked up a note.
The characters are hardly tropeish at all, though. They act like normal teenagers for the most part. Asuka maybe is the most "anime" of the characters but she also appears to be grounded when she acts serious.
Oh. Well balls.
Yeah, okay no. I wouldn't trust a second-rate band like this to have teenage section leaders pragmatic enough to do that. They'd probably just honk through the song together once or twice without stopping then call it a day.
I knew I wasn't the only one.
13 episodes isn't enough for that, I fear.
Unless we get a tomato market style movie.
Sensei just praised them. Why isn't she happy?
I think it would have been funnier if Sapphire was the one that could run the fastest because it would have been unexpected. It was just too predictable that Kousaka and Asuka would be athletic.
She can't even stand his presence half the time
Not really, if she hated him she would flat out ignore him, expressing her "hatred" like that just means that she wants him to know she's still upset but she kinda likes him, at least as a friend.
everyone is in the background of this show but they still manage to get lots of screentime. Clarinet chan got her smile back.
So token love-hate relationship except among friends and nothing more? You know, like having that one friend you just dislike but you're still friends regardless?
That explains why they can still talk together like friends even though they're "not really" friends
They have girlcocks sometimes though.
It's more than that. He was the first one to distance himself from her when they were friendly, and she was hurt and backed off because that's what he wanted. She's miffed that he has the gall to act buddy buddy with her again after that.
sensei reminds me too much of Makishima, and not just because it's the same seiyuu.
Maybe we'll see some barbering when he turns out to be a psycho
>I love how laid back he is in constrast to her cynical attitude.
You get it nigga
That kind of social interaction is pretty normal.
It's clear she wants him to know she's still mad about that, but at the same time she doesn't hate him or anything.
Women do that a lot, while a boy would've already forgot about it, she'll act this cold towards him for a long time unless he redeems himself.
Kumiko and Shuuichi need to fuck already
>if you have no potential to become a master you're a waste of time
Shit man, some people need an after school activity to stay out of trouble/to feel good about something. Thankfully it doesn't look like she'll be isolated because of this incident. Japan is bully central, you know.
How does she manage to see where she's walking?
these tuba noises this episode were hilarious
am I autistic if I love anime where the characters eyebrows are below their hair?
Chuba a cute.
but you can agree that they look very different
Opal-chan a best, I wanna play bass with her.
>you'll never have opal-chan in your jazz band
strong-quite strong comparison
ugh wish i had my own screens though
Even the moeblabs know a sociopath autistic when they see one.
A lot of it had to do with getting the band together. Even if their fundamentals were garbage, the main problem was people not wanting to work in unison as an ensemble. Bonding over an asshole sensei is still bonding.
So I've read. I've been tempted to watch because of the novelty of an objectively good representation of a gay character, but I don't really want to have to see her not get the girl.
Yeah, she suffers pretty hard in the movie.
stop calling people slackers when you are yourself a pedo neet who spends his time watching anime for kids
At least we're not talking about what instruments we play in this tread and our band experiences.
>you could never make Nakagawa smile
That would be a shame. I'm on the fence about yuri, but going with him after this long without chemistry or foreshadowing would feel like it's being thrown in there just because.
Kumiko is going to reach Tomoko levels of spaghetti before this is over
what does she dream of?
They really don't, unless you're the kind of person who's going to interpret absolutely any kind of interaction between childhood friends as "she's just hiding how much she wants to bone him". They have a normal relationship between old friends, and it's nice to see that for once. It would be a shame to lose that because the author decided that the story needed some a pointless romance subplot.
Did you say something, /a/?
What sort of emotion is this expression trying to convey?
i don't think you understand.
chemistry isn't only limited to romance, you know? i was just saying that i like their interactions.
you shitters need to calm down and not sperg out everytime you hear the word "shipping". i'm not even that anon.
Is Kousaka Yandere?
