What is binbougami ga?
>A boy falls in love with a girl.
>Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number.
>Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.
>But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression.
>After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with.
>In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
>Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves.
>While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.
>character never drops a load in the toilet and flushes only to find it's backed up so they grab a plunger which only makes things worse as the toilet overflows and they grab a mop and towels to clean the shit covered floor then calls a plumber to unclog the stinky turd
>The tomboy wins
Come on, friends.
>Average guy with cynical view of life, talking in an edge way
>Not get throw into any special club
>Not meeting any special girls
>Probably gonna being some weird guy in class forever
>Graduate living normal life
the boy goes to jail after fucking his sister
Yeah, Japan is mentioned all the time in Baccano, mostly by Isaac and Miria.
There are plenty of AU european fantasy series where Japan is never mentioned, but I'm not sure if those count.
vast majority of anime is in Japan. The fantasy anime is pretty much the only ones that are completely divorced from Japan.
Any anime actually set on Earth in any kind of recognisable way is in Japan. Baccano is an exception, but even then there are heavy Japanese influences
>MC tries to open the bathroom door
>Female MC tells him she'll take about 5 more minutes
>MC gets to use the bathroom 5 minutes later as agreed, with no kyaechislap.
>Any anime actually set on Earth in any kind of recognisable way is in Japan.
Kekkai Sensen is set in New York. There's nothing Japanese about it. Literally airing right now.
>Male MC chiling with two nice girls on a bench
>Female MC sees Male MC with two girls from afar
>Female MC doesn't get a fit or complains as she has no right to and calmy walks away and goes about her day
>MC rushes out of the house with toast in his mouth.
>Bumps into qt grill, both of them are on the floor in the street.
>They lock eyes and share a moment before both realizing they're late.
>They get up only to both get eviscerated by a speeding truck.
>Second year highschool MC complains about mundaneness of life.
>Last row, last seat, cheek rested upon left hand as he vacantly stares out the window.
>Typical edge talk about how nothing amazing happens.
>Shining twinkle in the sky speeds into the direction of the school.
>Bright light envelops classroom.
>Random guy on the other side of the class gets super powers.
>MC is NTR'd out of his desired fate to be important to the universe.
>Has to live everyday watching some random kid from his class save the day, have the people of Earth cheering for his victories.
>The MC calls out someone on their shit cooking
>The MC ACTUALLY HELPS THEM IMPROVE THEIR COOKING INSTEAD OF KEEPING QUIET ABOUT IT AND MAKING SILLY FACES WHEN SAID CHARACTER'S COOKING IS MENTIONED
Fuck these stupid cliches.
>arguably the worst version of the game
>Cut the 3D town exploration
This wasn't fun
>Cut most of the anime cutscenes
They were A1 QUALITY
>This turns it into a VN with shitty, now unbalanced gameplay
Being able to control your party members is unbalanced? Sounds like the game was bad ti begin with.
>And the VN scenes are awkward as fuck.
This is unchanged.
>Guy gets slapped by tsundere
>He gets angry at her
>Calls her an overly emotional psycho bitch
>Tells her that he can't stand how she treats him
>Tells her that he is no longer her friend and to stop hanging around him
>After a couple of days of reflection the tsundere realizes she was in the wrong
>apologizes the the MC
JUST ONCE! PLEASE!!
Kind of close. He was never involved again after this chapter.
The P3 characters are designed, stats-wise and moves-wise, to be self-controlled. This is why A. there is no party control option in P3/FES and B. why all of your party members have access to a greater variety of options (healing, offense, buffs, debuffs, etc) than in P4 where characters are more specialized (not everyone has healing options, character roles are defined by sets instead of elements). Adding party control to P3P without adjusting the game or the units for it was a mistake, and made the game much easier.
>Not a milf
They're working on it.
Ranma 1/2 puts the lie to that claim.
MC isn't such a clueless bitchboy about dangers in his environment and survives getting killed over 6 gazilitronion times not because of the 'You can do it!' or willpower act.
>your typical stumble and land face-first into tits situation
>instead of profusely sweating, going GOMENASAI, MC goes "Nice."
>MC orders ice cream and doesn't share with friends
>characters changing actually lock the door
>MC knocks before opening the door
>truck drivers actually follow traffic laws
>MC plays a sport for a team, is mediocre at said sport
Kind of reminds me of B Gata H Kei until halfway through. The minute the rich girl and her brother were introduced the show diverted radically from the plot and went from silly but something different to complete shit. The ending barely bounced it back and was so anti-climatic. It was just so much fun the first few episodes but Yamada's awkwardness with Kosuda stopped being funny once she started acting like a typical tsundere.
>tfw barely any horny female MCs
>like a year ago
It was actually first posted several years ago, and the link you're thinking of literally just copy-pasted it from that thread, it even mentions the board.
Good luck with that. Retards love spamming shit they think is funny here.
and if it had not been for that douche and his hammer.
Doesn't happen so often with planets, but happens often with cities, or innocent lives in general and stuff.
See Suzaku in Code Geass
firing a nuke right into the middle of a city centerafter being the biggest justicefag/moralfag ever throughout the show.
I didn't mean to imply that the copypasta was first posted about a year ago, simply that I first saw the fanfiction.net link posted about a year ago.
I know that copypasta's been floating around for too damn long.
Let me play this game too!
Chrome Shelled Regios
Tenjho Tenge has all three
>MC has to get in the fucking robot
>1 of 2 things happen
>There are no ramifications and MC gets pussy for standing up to the evil opressors
>There are dire consequences but, unlike EoE where the world ends or whatever, the MC is hated for the rest of the show despite eventualy overcoming the evil and he don't give shit.
>girl is in love with brother
>her parents take her to a psychologist
>MC lives alone because parents are abroad
>social servicies get involved
>MC struggles through main conflict
>MC is victorious
>MC gets best girl and lives happily
>we actually get to see the MC and Best Girl living as a couple without bullshit conflict or random death.
>Giant robot program doesn't do well enough to justify cost.
>Program faces constant budget cuts to the point of being completely shut down.
>MC must be hero without giant robot.
>he isn't watching Hibike Euphonium
I think he meant no drama as in no drama surrounding how well they get along. She always looked up to her father, loved him, and worked her ass off to pilot the fucking robot. She got in it, and let out a battle cry that rang through space for 12,000 years.
Then Gainax made Shinji.
But it was made in the 70s by someone who suffered firsthand because of Japan entering WWII, so he had a beef with his nation.
He also created both the magical girl and mecha genres.
>MC gets super awesome powers
>after saving the day word gets out
>government comes after him
>they talk about it and the government winds up funding his super powers because he's the only one able to stop the incoming threats
It could be any authority figure though, just seeing shit like that happen is nice.
Foreign languages done correctly.
When one of the main characters is American/German/etc he/she will speak in Japanese for the majority of the anime and when the few occasions come up in which they have to use their native language it is incredibly broken and sound extremely off.
Bonus points if the anime is not placed in Japan and everyone either magically speaks Japanese or no one ever speaks.
For fucks sakes Japan, I live in a third world shithole and even us can speak at least one foreign language correctly.
>only adults men can save the world
>Nobody cares about Student Concils
>MC have hate mangas and anime culture
>anime school uniform is a real uniform used in some countries
Isn't this pretty much the ending of Oreimo S2 OVAs?
>MC goes to Foreign Country
>Get into a relationship with foreigner
>comes back with half-breeds
>two characters are dating, they are in high school
>nothing bad happens
Wasn't this the case in welcome to the nhk?
hibiki the best
chris is also great too
>Boy gets hit by a japanese truck
>truck gets sent in for repairs
>MC open the bathroom door
>finds girl naked
>say sorry and laugh
>girl laughs too, and say it's ok
>by the halfway point of the series, the MC is effectively a superhuman freak of nature capable of manhandling all the horrifying monsters preying on humanity
>this doesn't actually have any effect on the overall conflict, not even on a minor lever
>the monsters end up getting rekt by professional operators and go into hiding, thus ending the conflict
Are there any other series this has happened in?
>>characters changing actually lock the door
>>MC knocks before opening the door
Does it count if the girl gets riled up over something and proceeds to walk out despite knowing there is a person on the other side?
Well, since its an anonymous imageboard without posting requirements, I would a wild guess and say that they just found this site and decided to post?
Where the fuck did you come from?
that but villain kills said MC slowly, beating his shit in, nuking him then revives him from the god damn dead to make him his bitch. Kinda the mortal kombat Quan chi route now that i think of it.
That simply wouldn't work, but Gendos treatment of Rei bears some similarities.
If the MC becomes somebodies pawn, how is he still the MC?
You could maybe make an episode about it or two, but no series.
>able to fit nicely into a lolita dress
>girl gives cookies/other baked goods to MC
>"I-i'm only giving these to you because I had extra!"
>MC is flattered until he sees her giving cookies to everyone else in the class
Tomoko is pretty ugly in the manga. The anime design makes her look a bit more generic.
This is needed. There is a lack of cute boy bullying in the reverse harem world.
She doesn't hit the MC, just the other slut going after MC.
There's no two ways around it. He asked her out, and they had a nice deito. Actually, Kekkai Sensen avoids a lot of shitty cliches.
Why do people like them again?
I have a few tsundere's I like when they have a reason for how they act and actually have a personality beyond it, but people who see "angry violent bitch" and instantly claim best girl are insane.
Ore Monogatari. Misunderstandings are gone within 2 episodes then it's great.
Legend of the galactic heroes
inb4 >that black guy wasn't relevant
>When one of the main characters is American/German/etc he/she will speak in Japanese for the majority of the anime and when the few occasions come up in which they have to use their native language it is incredibly broken and sound extremely off.
This happens not only in anime but also in movies. Especially hollywood.
that word again.
Simon's memories of Kamina are what reignited his spirit, that wasn't actually Kamina. Simon had the will and the power inside him the whole time.
I think you need to rewatch the show, anon.
I like blacks in anime as anime is the only media with no real bias towards them.
Actually, in that one ep of Kuroko no Basket, there was mention of food being normal once she took those vitamin pills out of the curry or something.
I'm not feeling generous enough to look that specific episode up since I'm not a fan of this series, just know this has happened in anime.
>MC takes a moral stance on incest and sees it as evidence of modern day moral and cultural decline
That was played in Saekano, and once in the VN Kamidori.
In Kamidori, the guy lost his spaghetti and the girl was like "No, it's cool, I know you didn't do it on purpose. You're not that kind of guy."
And then he proceeds to fuck the entire cast.
He's not really MC, but it fits the situation.
Kamidori is fine for the first 10 hours but then when he starts fucking everything with a hole it kinda feels like they forgot they were making a porn game and kinda just threw it in as a requirement to call it a porn game. Game probably would've been better without porn and just some romance scene with girls you wanted to romance with, with the option to not pursue a girl.
> >MC is not a fucking moralfag who is like hurr durr muh friends powah
Maybe it's time to drop the manga for 9 year olds and move up to manga for 14 year olds, kid.
If I had time, I'm sure I wouldn't hate watching it. It's just that with a massive backlog, seasonal shit and piles of manga and games I can't be fucked to dedicate that much time to a single series unless I know I'll really like most, if not all of it.
>a black (not tan) character is not a stereotype
There are some fine gentlemen in this thread.
>The main character/characters lose the final battle and the bad guys win
>slice of life set in college instead of high/middle school
I know there are some but its so rare
only one I recall of right now is genshiken
Berserk in the anime.
Boat is currently winning in the manga.
>MC must defeat (number of episodes -2) of the bad guy's minions before he can fight the big bad
>some of them die off screen from other people who are also trying to defeat the big bad
>they all use similar, pragmatic, fighting techniques rather than something flashy but impractical
>MC and friends actually pay to take a resort to a spa, instead of winning free tickets
But the reason why shounen series use flashy techniques is because they're more fun for the audience to watch, especially when that audience is young/teenage boys.
It wouldn't be as entertaining to watch characters use less flashy, pragmatic moves.
>the party is successful
>the world is saved
>they are about to go their sperate ways and end the story
>it turns into a slice of life anime instead
I don't know what hurts more, a good anime ending or a good anime going on for fucking ever
At least turn it into an "after the fact" thing
