>15 years later
Now can we all finally admit Naru was the best Love Hina?
If she wasn't, then why did she win the Love Hina and get married in the end? Checkmate.
Aside from the placement of Mutsumi, this is actually Keitaro's actual ranking of the girls
>implying the best girl is the worst girl
>No mention of based Tsuruko
There is the "most compatible" and there are other categories like "best girl", "best wife", etc.
Naru feels the most suited to be Keitarou's sole partner. However, I really can't say that she's the best due to her violent outbursts shown.
>harem but the MC actually chooses a girl in the end
>every girl was great
Why can't all harems be as good as Love Hina?
>15 years later
I'm still mad worst girl won.
>If she wasn't, then why did she win the Love Hina and get married in the end?
Is public knowledge that Japan has pretty poor taste. Just look at idols.
Left, right, or center?
Even now, seeing the anime art still wierds me out.
Best character development
Would not mind being just a "convenient woman"
most doujin from that age is shit
new stuff never
You are now aware that Love Hina had a god-tier OST.
Motoko was mai waifu.
>everyone forgets the real promise girl
Is Ranma even a harem
I read Ranma the same time as the Love Hina manga and it was more of a romcom with a huge cast of characters some of which liking the same people. Romance didn't play much of a part nor the fantasy of multiple women.
So, do you guys think Chitoge will be winning like Naru then and be the promised girl in that manga too??
I always thought the first fully digital anime was FLCL by based gainax, but I looked up the dates and it was released just a few days later than LH.
Spring 2000 was truly a godsend. Shame I started watching anime only a couple years later.
Love Hina was my first anime/manga, and while I enjoyed them back in the day, I don't have the same nostalgiafag sentiments for it anymore. The harem genre is old and busted to me as I fucking hate it, and I can't take half the shit in it seriously because Naru ruins so many scenes and Keitaro is such a beta faggot.
But it was a fun fucking ride. I always liked Shinobu, but the short epilogue at the end of Vol. 14 with the aged Shinobu always made my
heartgrow; that much I can say I could never get enough of. Maybe I'll put my drawfag skills to use and draw some characters I've neglected to acknowledge the existence of in the past decade.
The manga had really good art, but the anime was ass. I tried to go back to it since I saw the anime first over the manga recently, and my nostalgia wasn't strong enough to deter just how much ASS the anime was. Plot points out of order, characters ignored, whole arcs cut out, original ending and more. That anime was just.... ass.
Back in 2005 there was this thing called Motoko Mondays, where we would post the same 100 pictures of Motoko that existed in the internet and we would discuss why she was the best girl. The tripfag Grand Moff Tarkin was the biggest fan.
Those days were dark days for good fanart. Like so many things as time marches on, things get better, but by then, it's too late as some things are also left behind. No one cares to draw Love Hina fanart anymore, and so all you're left with is mostly sub-par art and shit hentai from eons ago.
Kinda depressing, not just for Love Hina, but for some others of the same time period.
Ah, shit. Reminds me that I used to post on a dedicated Love Hina forum that I'm sure had tons of art posted, but were hosted on sites like...fucking Photobucket or Imageshack, and they're probably lost to the sands of time by now, unless someone was obsessive enough to save it.
You motherfucker. Are you me? What got me into Love Hina in the first place was a Winamp2 skin of Naru; manga artwork, night background, yukata dress. I hadn't seen an artstyle like that before, and it (for better and for worse) opened up my interest when I discovered anime/manga through that. Most random reason to get into something, but it happened anyway.
Naru a best girl. Naru a best wife.
Motokofags please leave and take your tsun-tsun whore with you.
These. The anime is pretty bad. Some good music, introduced me to Yui Hoire and Yuu Asakawa but it's disjointed as hell.
Manga is much better, goes on for like 1 or 2 volumes more than it should have, but is satisfying as hell. Also fun to realize that lots of common harem tropes were introduced or made popular by it, so it may SEEM generic if you've never read it before, but it was kinda fresh in its day.
Hey man, the Nullsoft dev team back then pre-5 were good guys; it's outdated now, but you couldn't find another media player that was as versatile as Winamp was for plug-ins and programmer mods.
Why did she lose again? I remember back then that she was almost close to winning until LOLNOPE back to Naru
What would its thread on /a/ be like if Love Hina is only released this year?
Just go to a Nisekoi thread now and you'll get the idea.
Faggots arguing about who the "promise girl" really is and everyone claiming that the main heroine (Naru in Love Hina, Chitoge in Nisekoi) isn't really going to win in the end, until she does.
