Really enjoyed the one earlier today, so I make some new weebums.
Giovanni's Island was a surprise for me. Had no idea it would be so well animated.
Depends what is classified as young, but in any case I personally don't like his style. Lacks discipline.
Does anybody miss hand drawn effects/explosions? They seems to go extinct nowadays.
It had more character animation but sometimes it looked too rough. It was still nice overall.
>Hironori Tanaka, Shingo Yamashita, and Ryotimo are no longer young animators
Time flies too fast
The art style seems like an effort to make the transition between 2D and 3D unnoticeable.
The animation of the explosions and sparks are hand drawn, but then they lay a whole bunch of filters and video effects on top of them to make them see more 'realistic'. Most of the fire effects are live action footage.
I miss the good old sakuga shitposting on the textboard.
