Which anime have you dropped so far, /a/?
Pic related for me.
>Watching seasonal anime
>3 episode rule is made for low level newcomers
I dropped Heavy Object during the first episode. Total shit.
Not even giving most shows a chance this season - I'll wait til halfway through to see what you guys think is bearable before i even try sorting through all this garbage
Did 3 episodes of anything aired yet?
So nothing yet.
Droping during first episode = not picking up.
>Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou
Okay looking Garbage
>Owari no Seraph: Nagoya Kessen-hen
Yaoi/Fujoshit with shounenshit writing
>Young Black Jack
This was actually okay.
Seriously, how can anyone keep watching the same jokes being made over and over again by the same 3 girls?
>I don't like overpowered MC's.
>Picks up a show called One Punch Man.
This is probably the best collection of ecchi, romcom and battleharems we've had in years.
I can't vouch for the rest, but man it's a breath of fresh air seeing fanservice shows with decent animation that are generic without being complete dogshit. I've had to survive on scraps like ISUCA
Isuca? That season you had Absolute Duo, Fafnir, Testament and World Break and you chose to only watch Isuca and then complain about the lack of battle harems and their quality?
I watched all of them, and they all sucked.
ISUCA was just the best example of how bad the genre has been lately.
Only dropped Owarimonogatari and SnK so far. Most shows are testing me though. I think the only shows I know for sure that I won't drop are OPM, Noragami, and Seraph, maybe Gundam, and OPM is the only of those that is above mediocre. Why have the past two years been so shit?
It was bland but inoffensive early on but the battle animation was nearly unwatchable, the plot took itself way too seriously and the entire finale and lead up to it was dogshit, both visually and as narrative. The OP was the best part of the whole show.
It needed more fanservice
>better than World Fun and Shinmai BDstament
>trying to pick a shitpostfight
you better stand down kid, my memes are superior
The direction and writing
The action and animation were fine, but it did not hold my interest even slightly and I frequently had no fucking idea what was going on with the constant flash forwards and shit
None so far.
I try to make a point not to drop any anime, even if it's shit I still try to watch it till the end.
But I also carefully choose the ones I intend to watch, so while my list of watched/plan to watch animes aren't as extensive as that of some other people, I don't watch a lot of shit and don't need to drop animes frequently.
The worst I've seen up till now is Corpse Party OVA. I rate it a 4.
>Currently watching 17 shows this season
>Nothing dropped so far
Feels pretty NEET.
I'm at 15 and forcing myself to not pick up too many so that I have time to keep working on my backlog.
I feel like I picked a terrible season to focus on my backlog. Hopefully some of the ones that I skipped out on will turn out to be bad so I don't have to add them to my backlog at the end of the season.
Lance N Masque
>Danger of Being dropped
Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry
Gakusen Toshi Asterik
>Will continue to watch till end
Yuri Yuri S3
Utawarerumono Itsuwari no Kamen
>Potential anime I might watch soon
Shin Maou (gotta get my ecchi needs)
Subete ga F
Sakurako-san no Ashimoto
Young Black Jack
>Not touching with 5 meter pole
Dio Ball Lick Lovers
K: the homolust
Kowabon: >muh rotoscope
Hidan no Aria
Good 4 shows to follow with couple extra on side.
Nothing, but I haven't picked up much yet besides gundam
>heavy object which is just absolute shit
Nothing less than the best translated LN right now, too bad JC Staff will spend 6 episodes on the only bad proof of concept prologue novel.
>That's perfectly reasonable to drop something.
Not at all. 3 episode rule exist, and it's the absolute minimum.
So many anime bait peoples with a good 1st episode only to get completely shitty after.
Well, this is one of few battle harem shows I'll even watch, so I might as well be there for the shitposting threads.
Besides, I have zero reason to drop it after witnessing the end of episode 2.
I'm mainly speaking of the three episode rule, actually. If you have a shitty start, its hard to care about the rest of the story.
My personal rule of thumb is, "If I rather watch something off my backlog than watch the lastest episode of X, drop it". And that happened with OPM.
But yes, the reverse also happens a lot.
Plenty of husbando faggotry though. not that it's a bad thing
It'll get far better (the first volume is literally the worst in the entire series), but really the amount of action will get crazy, and when they're already struggling on the opening episodes..
Every single one. They are all shit.
Especially when it was announced like last year and this is supposed to replace Index.
What the hell, it's could have been AOTY easily if not for the fucking terrible production values and lazy pacing
>literally the entire point of the manga
>dropping one of the funniest shows of the season
>liking OP Man
>on the same breath, the people who love OP Man hate the likes of SAO and Mahouka
A Gary Stu by any other name is still one, even if you're being ironically Gary Stu.
That one mystery show that's trying way too hard to be smart with the genius snowflake who allergy killed her parents and the characters who have "philosophical discussions" every time they open their mouths was the horrible. Last time I knew I was dropping a show 10 minutes in was Glasslip.
>not 4 years
I always wait for monogatari BDs since I don't like watching it weekly.
I wanted to start Gundam because I always want to watch Gundam but I just despise mecha.
Just because it's "gundam". Like when you were a kid and wanted to eat in mcdonald's because it's mcdonald's.
Something like that. I never watched Gundam before, well I did as a kid but I was like 4
>Fujo shit. Looks retarded.
>he didn't finish the first episode
>he's too moronic to understand a parody when he sees it
I'm glad you dropped it. It raises the IQ levels of the people watching the show.
Nothing dropped yet, I'm enjoying all of them.
Young Black Jack
Maybe Comet Lucifer? The only reason I'm still interested is because of the obviously high budget implies it might get decent.
This season is
God I can't wait for this episode to air so this can finally end.
>summer at least had interesting shows charlotte
You should have at least said something actually good like NNBR or Wakaba Girl.
come on anon, there were much better shows you could have said
"Interesting" anime tend to throw stupid fallacies at you that might teenagers think is impressive or edgy to make people feel smart about themselves.
Slice of life is just simple fun.
Sakurako-San. I was interested at first because of the mistranslation saying it was about a young boy who had a spooky fully grown woman as a girlfriend, but when it was revealed a hoax I decided to tough it out and watch it anyway.
Holy shit it's awful. I wouldn't have wanted it to be a romance anyways because the MC is the biggest fucking faggot ever. Her wandering onto a scene and solving a murder out of the fucking blue was hilariously stupid as well. Just awful and boring and stupid, a terrible combination. At least try and be awful but entertaining.
Better than not watching at all, I don't work with PCs and notebooks/tablets are against the rules there.
Lunch/Dinner time you can watch two to three, that's about 10 per week.
And the shows I really enjoy are the ones I want to enjoy to their fullest in the comfort of my home, in front of my nice big screen and with a halfway decent sound system.
If a show isn't worth cozying up to, it's probably not worth going out of my way to accommodate into a busy schedule.
are you me fam? biggest disappointment in years
Dropped Lance and Comet so far. Going to give Concrete another episode before deciding if I'm dropping that too.
I almost want to give Comet one more episode but that second episode was pretty bad. Fucking shitty characters. I mean when you introduce a fucking mascot character, an infantile alien girl, and a super edgy child soldier enemy there's only so many places that's going to go and none of them are good.
People tend to run at the sight of a harem.
its too bad they're not giving it a chance
atleast the threads wont be shit
Whats with this bullshit, MC clearly enjoys muscular men
I wonder if Aniki will make it into the show.
I giggled like an idiot every time it was referenced
>he doesnt like muscles
what a faggot
SAO and Mahouka are trying to be serious dramas with comedic touches. OPM is just a straight up comedy, like pic related. The webcomic is even drawn in such a way that makes it clear your not supposed to take it too seriously.
