Where were you when they fixed Felia?
I almost dropped this shit but then..
Another week of 130 IPs bitching!
That explains this poster
Literally the only thing keeping me from dropping this shit was that it wasn't just another magic pixie girlfriend anime with a shitty love triangle and actually had some potential for decent character dynamics.
Now it might as well just be a fucking light novel adaption.
Yeah I've gotta say I'm not happy about the love triangle shit.
You should be used to those kinds of spoilers by now. What really scares me is how everything says "Project Felia". I really hope this doesn't turn into a multi-work series, as it just isn't that good.
>love triangle shit
God dammit, are they really doing this? Aside from the Sougo/Kaon romance this show has done everything it can to shoot itself in the fucking foot. I'm so mad.
Still waiting on subs, but if it turns out like I imagine it, I'm going to be right with >>133005041
Oh they're fucking awful, I just can't help it.
Why is he so cool? Look at him having fun.
>Felia is a 10/10 cutie now.
Fucking glorious, I really hope that blonde shit gets the death he deserves, He was fucking brutal to Sogo and Felia for no reason.
Fucking this, Every time Felia upgrades the mech gets the upgrade too.
Fuck you, nice one.
Does that make his chauffeur shota Hans?
This was a good episode. Glad I didn't drop this, now I have hope this might actually turn out good now that Felia isn't a retard anymore.
When she got her new body she started talking in complete coherent sentences to Sogo so her intelligence got a boost it seems.
No, that's not what I meant. This is what I meant. Why is this a thing?
Felia a CUTE, and now waifu material! That OST is fantastic as well.
But will the other girl lose, or will she start fucking her fiance? I hope they keep the romance out entirely, personally.
Having Kaon like Sogo in the first place was just cheap drama when you know he'll end up with Felia (as long as she does newtype-die). The whole thing is stupid, especially given that her fiance is actually a pretty cool dude.
Someone should make fanart of Sougo and Felia keeping track of how many times their names are mentioned and Sougo cheering while Kaon sits in the corner in despair.
I-I'd request it but honestly what are the chances a drawfriend watches this show?
Also, I didn't think to, but maybe someone else could chime in with this week's numbers? I haven't watched the episode yet, but I also don't see Kaon's tally posted in this thread.
It's interesting that even after this episode that Felia is still a battery and Sogo is just a normalfag boyfriend, while Moura is the one fighting all the badguys both in the mechs and in hand to hand fights.
I thought when it turned into Guardian MK 2 it would be because either Sogo or Felia were doing something but they were just chilling out on the sideline.
That was nice, not that much QUALITY moment compared to the two last episodes too.
Sogo don't really have much to do beside being there for being usefull, he's trying though.
Finally it seem that the story is really starting from now on. Also that's pretty much "find yourself what the setting is" the season.
If they just completely got rid of the "plot", villains, CGmechshit, and love triangle and made it a SoL about some friends who find a magic girl, farming, and studying rocks it would be a much better show.
I believe they were ordered to hand her over to the scientists who were talking about "Luma", and those scientists want to use her power for something
>Trying to use magic to free herself from the psycho blondie
>Either that was a distraction or she just couldn't do it and she smacked his head instead.
How is this girl retarded?
I'd like it better if they went about halfway - eliminate the triangle but keep Sougo-Kaon, and get rid of the shota altogether but give the drunk captain and lolicon an episode where they try to capture her, just less edgily and without any big conspiracy behind them.
What a cutie
So just comedy villains? I could live with that. I'm good with removing the love triangle either way, but if Felia is staying a daughteru then Roman needs to go, because he's honestly not a bad guy and shouldn't have his heart broken.
The CGmechshit has to go either way. Fuck that.
So far the story seems to be based on Moura's hint dropping 2 episodes ago, that Felia is some sort of personification of the planet's lifeforce/natural energy. She's basically some kind of nature god or spirit and the sages that work in the government plan to capture her and use her somehow to bring in a new age of "prosperity" for the planet.
>Felia is no longer pedoshit pandering material
Roman is funny, though. Just make his attraction to her shallow, have him realize that, and then toss him a bone with some random new girl at the end.
The CGI mechs actually look pretty nice, but they don't really belong, I agree.
>Roman is funny, though. Just make his attraction to her shallow, have him realize that, and then toss him a bone with some random new girl at the end.
Or just don't have Kaon in love with Sogo, have her happy with Roman and just be a friend to Sogo, and let Sogo be with grown up Felia. Everyone wins.
>The CGI mechs actually look pretty nice
I don't care if it "looks good for CG". CGshit shouldn't be in anime. It can either do it's own thing or fuck off.
I like Roman a lot, but the thing with him is that the only reason he seems to be coming onto Kaon is because of their arranged marriage plan. I don't think he would necessarily be heartbroken if she didn't end up with him.
>Waah muh seasonal waifu will lose waah
Why do you care about Kaon? She's useless and can be as dumb as Felia
>Let's hide in that cable car, I'm sure the crazy lolicon who's controlling a robot won't harm us here
Do you self insert as the MC? Is she the impersonation of your high school crush?
Is she dead?
>Not only does anime yuribait, but now lolibaits
No show can be trusted.
Best episode by far, too bad we'll be back to sol next week. The ost was great but they have no idea how to use it though, the first mech fight had one of the worst sound direction I ever heard.
Mademoiselle is very sexy before the change. The tattered clothes showing off her smooth untouched skin, her bare feet that you just know is very warm to touch, her developing buds that can be almost seen from the loose clothing, and her dense personality to get away with particular games.
Ah, boku no Mademoiselle.
Not as great without the sound. Also, he healed up pretty fucking fast in the scenes afterwards.
>Turning shitty lolis into onee-sans
WELCOME NEW FETISH, LOOKING FORWARD TO A LONG AND FRUITFUL COLLABORATION
>Make me climax
I'm pretty sure he didn't say that.
I'm talking about this one.
CG mech are never off model, more detailled, move more ant it's way easier to put alot of them on screen at the same time. I never saw anyone give a good argument against orange cg, it's always nostagiafag hatting change in their medium.
Yeah, you do that.
>CG mech are never off model
The fact that you think this is a good thing invalidates any point you pretend you're making about animation.
>it's always nostagiafag hatting change in their medium.
Sure it is.
Evil people want to use the local nature spirit for their prosperity plans.
>animu's too hard to understand
Fine, Felia a god or materialization of earth's energy, old men want to use her for some kind of ritual related to outer space.
Of course, old men didn't do nuffin since they want prosperity for everyone.
I STILL CAN'T GET OVER THAT STUPID RIBBON WHO THE FUCK DESIGNED THAT SHIT
But will he like it?
>The fact that you think this is a good thing invalidates any point you pretend you're making about animation.
Why is it a bad thing ?
>Sure it is.
CG mech used to look terrible I agree, but nowaday most of the time there's no reason to complain, especially when orange is doing it. There's always a bunch of fag complaining about cg but they never give any argument, they're just complaining out of habit.
>Why is it a bad thing ?
>Always on model looks good
>Squash, stretch, smear and other "imperfections" added by a human touch aren't good
Holy shit, stop posting.
>they're just complaining out of habit.
How about the stiff motion, over-saturated colors, awkward juxtaposition against an otherwise hand drawn show, production method that is fundamentally different than any type of hand drawn animation and lacks any of the personality, and utter lack of talent outside of "making on model mechs"?
3DCG can be it's own thing, but it's fundamentally different than hand drawn animation, and asking "Why do people who like hand drawn animation not want CG mechs shoved into hand drawn animation?" is retarded beyond fucking retarded. If you honestly think that CGshit looks comparable to hand drawn, then you're blind and you don't actually give a shit about animation.
>lack of personality
>lack of talent outside of "making on model mechs"
> Why do people who like hand drawn animation not want CG mechs shoved into hand drawn animation
I don't like hand drawn animation in particular that much. I just happen to like anime. I like manga even more, actually.
>Animation having personality is irrelevant
If you're willing to eat shit, then by all means eat shit. That doesn't mean you should shitpost like this, though.
>I don't like hand drawn animation
At least this guy isnt like the m'lady lance and masque mc.
What a shit fight
>hurr im gonna fly and shoot lazah beems
>hurr im gonna shoot with my assault rifle
Rival is a carbon copy of Jiart
>say CG doesn't belong in anime because it isn't hand drawn and people who like hand drawn animation don't want CG
>anon says he doesn't care if it's hand drawn
>Yeah, well, your opinion is irrelevant
So basically hand drawn is best because only people who prefer it get a vote?
>"I don't like animation"
>"But I'm going to talk about the quality of animation vs CG"
Yes, only people who actually care about animation should talk about what makes animation good. If you don't care either way, then you're an idiot for pitching ideas about it either way.
I don't care whether it's hand drawn or not. The point I was responding to not was not one about the quality of the CG, it was that "CG mechs don't belong in anime because anime is for people who like hand drawn animation," which is stupid.
>CG mechs don't belong in anime because anime is for people who like hand drawn animation
Yes. A medium founded on hand drawn animation with over 100 years of history steeped in it that has produced entire schools of animation surrounding it should have actual animation. How fucking stupid do you have to be to argue against that when your entire stance is "Well it can technically be put into hand drawn shows so it's ok." You don't have any appreciate for art, you don't care about it's production and yet you feel qualified to speak about the validity of a new type of anime production. Why? Why do you feel the need to open your mouth? Are you actually autistic to the point that you think "Well it's technically possible and not illegal, so I'd better tell him that he's wrong when he says it doesn't belong because muh semantics."?
Pack your bags sogo.
Too bad best boy doesnt win usually. The studio doing a good job ramping up dem >SOGO this episode .Pretty good episode compared to previous ones.
They will be some mega infodump episode by those organization about Lima probably
>Oh shit, punching mecha fight. MUH DICK
>Pew pew pew
Hit the nail on the head with the autism comment, didn't I?
It's ok, maybe next time just try not jumping into a conversation where you have no idea what you're talking about, but feel like you should make a "point" on semantics.
Well it's best to prep tha shippingfaggots now.
>mfw Felia dies at the end of the series leaving Sogo alone while Roman and Kaon make lots of babies
Concrete Revolutio is just a jumbled plot that can be hard to follow if you're not paying attention, but Comet Lucifer doesn't have much context. What is Felia? What's Lima? Why are they being upgraded? What does the old man want? A lot of questions without any answer yet.
This is probably the second biggest problem with the show, and you'll see it anywhere it's discussed
even /m/. The show gives no context to anything, the viewer can't even infer anything about the story they're supposed to take in. It just expects you to take everything at face value, and ignores logic like a motherfucker.
I've reached the point where I just don't give care one way or another about explanations or a lack of them in anime. Maybe this is because they don't provide good ones most of the time, but it seems like it never makes a difference whether they tell us a reason or I just treat it as "because the story said so."
>>133029701 is right, but pretending it was multi-work, that might actually make me like it more, because I could accept what we've gotten so far better as the introduction to a longer series.
It is a problem in most anime. I tend to just watch shows superficially now, for action or cute girls or comedy. I usually avoid most shows like this that are story focused because they're always so disappointing and don't deliver on the story. I find that I get more enjoyment when I watch something that I come into without any expectations, like a moe SoL or gag comedy.
I agree, I just think that if it were longer, I wouldn't be that concerned about the lack of explanations or the Sougo-Felia romance that it seems they're going to cram into seven episodes.
I'll just repost
what I did on /m/.
It's trying to be two shows at once and committing to neither.
I'd much rather get a show of just SoL daughteru raising and hijinks with Roman on an adventure, or conversely I'd really like a show about the military half of the show and get to know more about the state of the world, the antagonists, etc. while still going on an adventure, kind of a Zoids Chaotic Century deal.
This show wants to do both, and I think it's trying to pull an Eureka 7 in doing so - but it's not really managing to do either particularly effectively.
I really wonder if I would have any complaints about the show (other than the shit that's just bad, like Sogo not calling for Moura immediately in 3 or the fall in ep 1) if I didn't know how many episodes it's supposed to be.
In general, it's completely failing to strike a balance. It should have been one or the other, especially considering its length.
I FUCKING CALLED IT, CHILDHOOD FRIEND HAD NO CHANCE AND WE WOULD GET A GROWN UP FELIA.
B T F O
>Hating on best boy Roman
See >>133032834, there was another reason for the bulkiness.
Same, but oh well.
Roman wins the kaonbowl. Felia wins the sogobowl, everyone is happy.
It's not really even a plot point. It should have been clear from the opening and the general feel of the show that Felia was going to be Sogo's main love interest. Since he didn't really seem attracted to her in loli form it's not a huge stretch to guess that she was going to get aged at some point soon.
i hung on till ep five for this adorable slut
Pretty sure the OP did it before the promo image
>**2,498位/**2,321位 (***,*60 pt) [*,**0予約] Comet Lucifer
It was ranked above 20000 at the beginning of the season so it's getting more popular at least. I doubt it'll sell more than 3k average though.
She still looks cute, but nowhere nearly as adorable as she was before. I wasn't enjoying the show much anyway so I'm out as well, I hope the plot (and not just Felia's) starts developing any time soon and you guys don't end up with another Fractale.
May you people dream about vegetables.
>Was gonna drop if this episode was shit
>Felia getting punched right in the kisser
This show is trash overall but I'll watch 'till the end.
That's what I thought at first but if it's wing then how do you explain this ?
>your autistic loli will never grow up over night and give you a titjob.
>Rocket propelled rifle
>Moura's upgrade is having a retarded pair of claws/wings tacked on
>Magic loli is now a hot teenager, and she's stacked! What a delightful turn of events!
2/10, check out my blog for more reviews
Nothing wrong with being interested in Felia's underdeveloped body, just saying.
I'm usually all for mascots but godamnit do I hate that thing.
The thing is Roman clearly views his arranged fiancee as a trophy bride. Something he is entitled to because of his status and/or wealth.
I doubt he has any romantic interests in her. Though, he is a boy so he'd no doubt try to fuck her should they get married.
Kaon rejecting him will only hurt his pride and ego. But money speaks, so she'll either suffer relentless pressure from the families to accept, or Roman will just be given a different trophy bride to make him feel better.
I'd predict that after a few episodes of Kaon being jealous of Felia monopolizing her crush, Felia will revert back to her loveable daughteru form. Kaon will then fail to act on her feelings and no one ends up with anyone, except Sougo who gets a daughteru.
Alternatively, maybe he loses his wealth in some freak incident and the arranged marriage with it, and has to learn how to behave around Kaon and the others without viewing her as a trophy and the others as below him.
As awesome as poetic justice is, I doubt that's how things will go.
Unless we find out his wealth comes from the bad guys trying to snatch Felia, that would make for an interesting development.
He's a self entitled faggot who only thinks about himself. Even if he is being nice to others it's because he will get something out of it in the end.
He has no redeemable qualities.
That might change, depends how the story unfolds, but at the moment he's nothing but a rich prick.
I don't hate him, but I think he desperately needs to change his way of thinking towards others. Granted he's pretty nice to Felia and Sogo on the whole but his response to Kaon rejecting the marriage was to chase her in his space car. Losing his money would be a major enough event for him to take a look at his entitled behavior.
I just noticed they've been teasing older Felia since the very first episode.
This is one-cour right? I was under the impression we were getting 12 episodes of this but part of me also kind of wants this to be a full 2-cour. 6 months of this train wreck and SOGO would be hilarious, even if I'd be the only one watching it at the end.
And although I'm being fairly cynical about it, I actually like what I've seen so far strangely enough. I want it to do well and turn out good.
Has it been confrimed to be 1-cour yet? I was under the impression Concrete Revolutio was 1-cour until I learned like yesterday its actually split-cour, so this could be the same deal. I don't think most originals are one-cour, right? Usually if you're putting up the effort to make an original anime, and not adapting/advertising the LNs, 2-cour is your best platform, right?
While loli turning into curvy goddess is nothing new, is not exactly common either.
