What the fuck did I just watch?
So I read most of side material expect the Blue one and rewatched the first season and movie and it finally make sense.
Is side Blue interesting or I can skip it? I really wanted to start watching S2 so I didn't read it. Same for the manga that happens before S2.
I get you, anon. After episode 6 Red/Blue scenes just amuse me to no end because it looks like Blue is hopelessly vying for Red's attention whereas all he wants is to die quickly and be with his husbando.
No, Kuroh and Munakata are pandering. Yukari is pretty gay in the sort of creepy stereotype way. Munakata can be a bit gay, but just like with Kuroh it's mostly pandering to fujos.
they were homies
then they joined homra, yata got new homies, and nobody ever paid attention to fushimi again, including his best friend
how can yata still not have realized why the fuck he left
They were pretty cute in LSW. Too bad it couldn't stay that way.
I feel like if they do that they will lose popularity among the fujoshit
The ED even has foreshadowing of Fushimi leaving S4 and possibly joining the Greens just so he can keep pissing off Yata
Don't the fujoshi want them to make up?
Fushimi leaving S4 would be kind of strange after that scene in the manga where Anna told him that Munakata needed his support. Also, things are pretty much set up for a rematch between him + Yata vs. the green kid sooner or later.
To be honest if you read the side materials it feels more like a little brother/older brother sort of relationship. Also Mikoto's reason from going on a rampage is less about the guy dying and more about him feeling constantly tortured about being the red king which would give him constant nightmares about burning everything around him. Even when he was awake apparently is in the Red king's nature to want to constantly destroy, you can even see this with Anna this season who wants to destroy the slates as the best possible option of stopping more shit from happening. Mikoto was half doing it for revenge and half doing it so he could have a excuse to finally die and stop being a king, he was never exactly happy about being the red king
Nah I don't see it. I think the fujoshi would be ultimately fine with them making up. It's being set up for them to make up, and I know they do omnipandering to the extreme, but I can't see them breaking the flow of the plot just to get a couple of more fujos watching.
Who cares about what the tumblr-style fujos want? I just want the story to be good, and end in a fulfilling way that makes sense for the plot and also the characters. Hardcore shippers that rabidly rant about their otp and how it should be canon should go die, while actually being serious, should just go die.
All I need is Fushimi's awful dad to be mentioned and character development to not be an asspull like 'fushimi gets over it and goes back to join homra AND EVERYONE IS HAAAPPPY'.
Yeah that seems unlikely, but Blue and Red seem to be getting less rivalish. I see them becoming like Kusanagi and Awashima. They're still friendsn despite being two of the highest ranking members of rival organizations. If Red and Blue get to be more friendly I can definitely see them becoming good friends who hang out fairly often yet are still on different sides technically.
Jesus, then again...
reminder that pic related is a nude woman lying on top of shiro.
>Also, things are pretty much set up for a rematch between him + Yata vs. the green kid sooner or later.
I doubt that will happen. That's like saying they will have a rematch against Kuroh because he rekt them in S1 which never happened and never will
Also is not about them working together against green shota, because they were in fact attacking him continuously from both sides if you re-watch the fight. He was just that much stronger than them
This is the gayest K thread I've seen this season.
Neko a cute
That would be the best conclusion. Fushimi fits much better with the blues even though he's not very sociable with them. I hope he stays there.
Seriously Neko is so fun this season
No, someone else will.
Seri for Gold King actually makes sense to me.
She's having doubts about Munakata's leadership role, probably skeptic about his handling of the slates too. She also backed up team Silver last go around as a temp, so who knows? There's at least some precedent to her working closely with Adolph
Judging by Anna, it kind of seems like one of the clansmen just sort of inherits the power. this makes it tough for me to see how Awashima could be gold king, but no one really knows the intricacies of the slates, so having some random explanation wouldn't really be an asspull.
If this translation is in anyway accurate, (copypasta from another thread) Mikoto and Totsuke Tatara may well be.
>〆If I were to say without inviting misunderstandings, I think that -Totsuka was special-, that is, the -unmanly part- of Suoh Mikoto, Homra’s leader and the -manly- Red King. I mean…
>〆In a “team” of boys, 「We’re all comrades!」would become a motto to glorify the harmony of their relationships, similar to 「All for one and one for all!」.
>〆In truth, there do exist personal compatibilities and discrepancies, yet everyone still keeps the 「Comrades are comrades!」facade, and even though there are likes and dislikes or different attitudes among everyone , bringing up a “special relationship” would be rather -unmanly-…
>〆Also, I think that compared to normal times, when a violent team like Homra starts moving, it’s impossible to ignore that -manly facade-.
>〆After Totsuka’s incident, Suoh should have told his subordinates, who were facing dangerous battles, 「Both you guys and Totsuka are the same. Everyone is Homra. Homra’s enemy will be destroyed by Homra.」Especially as the head of the organisation, his position wouldn’t allow him to say 「Totsuka was special.」
>〆Be that as it may, Suoh himself was a person far removed from concepts like organisations or leadership, and if it hadn’t been for Totsuka, he would have continued neither as a “leader” nor as a “head”, but simply as “Suoh Mikoto”. And yet…
>〆He tried, in his own clumsy way, to maintain the team Homra, because it was -the place Totsuka had once made for Suoh-.
>〆「Think of Totsuka, and if you realise what he felt, then you mustn’t show your thoughts and feelings about him.」Suoh was a silent person who rarely expressed himself from the very beginning, but during the show he found himself in front of such a contradiction…which became another interesting situation in itself.
I can just watch it for her. She's so cute
From what I've seen kings die all the time.
>former red king
>former blue king
>gold king (died of old age so doesn't really count)
>Munakata not looking too good
It's like the life of a king needs to be a tragic one.
I got the sense that it was relatively uncommon before, and that this whole thing is a more chaotic period, largely brought on by the greens trying to bait Shiro out. Mikoto, Colorless, and Munakata were direct results of Green's plan.
Mikoto was never part of the previous red clan, he was just 11 when the king before him died and took his whole clan with him
Same with Munakata, apparently he was studying abroad the entire time and got elected as king once he came back, he had no relation to the previous blue clan whatsoever
