Elsword anime announced, planning for 12 episodes(1 cour) show
>no name gook shit mmos get no name gook shit adaption
>Announce anime of a game a day after one of the seiyuu died
Nice, a korean IP getting anime adaption sooner than I thought.
Times are changing.
Also saw this just now.
>The company also announced its plan to introduce animations inspired by Nexon games including “Closers,” “Arpiel,” and “Elsword”
Last corean MMO adaptation I watched was Blade & Soul, and we all know how THAT turned out.
Hard to say though, Elsword looks like it would be easier to animate since the game seems run purely on anime graphics, while B&S uses 3DCG. It doesn't looks much different from the shounenshit we watch (for now anyway)
That screenshot aside(I still have no idea what was up with that last episode, it's like they let the in-betweeners draw the key frames or something) looking bad was the least of this show's problems.
Cultural barrier maybe. Individuals from the gaming corporate world wouldn't really know what makes a good anime adaption and visa-versa.
Also most studio have they schedules booked way in advance.
Seem like it. Though mostly Japanese animator for the majority, some Koreans worked on it"ep 13".
Ha, all those assistant animation director on ep 12.
Anyone remember that Dungeon Fighter anime adaptation?
It was really shit. In an astronomical tier. The designs were somewhat deceiving for the shitfest that was to happen.
>Pretening gooks aren't already in the eleven's industry
and I'm not just talking about all those frames they outsourced to gooks either, there are actual Koreans working in nip studios already.
Well, good thing Add doesn't make it in.
I hated his character form day one. It's like edge gone off the table for no good reason.
Raven has the same problem.
Chung's really mature. Leave him alone.
>add's what's saving the game
But gameplay wise? He singlehandedly ruins the entire fucking game. I remember one namefag in /vg/ being buttmad about his retarded mechanics and then quit soon.
