What would you do if you were put in a situation like that of Sword Art Online?
Well, honestly, regardless if SAO is shit, being in the actual SAO anime world/mmo would be pretty badass.
I'd rape female NPCs (in secret of course) and try to level up to become as strong as some of those frontline people trying clear the game to escape. But I wouldn't actually put myself in a position where I'd have to be inside of a boss room.
I'm not risking my life, fuck that. Let everyone else do the dirty work.
the amount of elf rape I'd perpetrate would reach race-destroying levels.
Going to hunt succubi for recreational purposes, need a DPS and another tank, anyone interested?
How great would it be if there was any rpg where you could just DO shit.
Like, 'hey, i wanna kill this dragon using nothing but elbow drops.'
"THEN FUCKING KILL IT WITH ELBOW DROPS, QUEER."
that'd be rad
pic related, other shit i want to have become a possibility
Grind the weakest mob and sell loot until I can afford a decent size house, then undercut the NPCs.
If that fails I'll just live there and try to level jobs until I find an easy way to live
>Find Dark Elf waifu
>Who the fuck cares what happens after that
Isn't that what /tg/ is for? It would take autistic amounts of effort to make a digital RPG capable of doing anything the players throw at it. Throw VR design into the mix and you've got a recipe for development hell.
Are you enslaving your dog, or your cat? Do you enslave your sofa and front door?
Enslavement is only possible when the subject is human and therefore possesses a separate conscience granted and sanctified by god.
The church doesn't involve itself with business transactions.
I'd totally watch an anime that's solely about the lives of a group of non-tryhards who just live a peaceful non-dangerous life in the SAO world, making the best out of their surroundings.
An anime about regular people getting stuck in an rpg would be pretty amazing.
No saving the world by destroying bosses
No fighting to get back home
Just general tomfoolery and SoL shenanigans amped up by game mechanics.
I'm letting you know, that your reason and happiness to live in the virtual world would be my sole reason to beat the game so that you could forever be parted from her while I laughed like a bloodied manic at the top of a motherfucking tower as if I had faced the God and Devil in its no less primordial forms so that I could say, AT THE VER END, I did it because I envied you. I did it because I couldn't bear to know, much less see a neet find happiness. Because I didn't.
Edgy as fuck, but hell I'd do the same.
I'd max out my gathering and profession skills and corner the market on consumables. Plenty of adventurers that will need health or mana pots when raiding dungeons. Meanwhile, I live the good life by building up my wealth.
This is me
>Spend as long as I can inside the safe areas
>Run out of gold after a while, no more lodging at the inn or good food
>Go out to kill slimes for just enough money to eat
>Encounter level 90 special event boss
In case of mmo alt dimension scenario with a miraculous coincidence that brings together a bunch of anons united under the common goal of raping the elven race out of existence.
Would it even be possible in one lifetime?
I mean, assuming aging process exists, the halfbreeds, courtesy of their elven blood, will outlive us long before we can utilize them for the next cycle of genetic purification.
It seem to me that such final solution would require generational human effort.
Depressing thoughts. The pointy ears are more formidable enemy than I thought.
Here's the most important question though.
Which monster would you fuck?
>buy cosmetic items
>get bitches???? ?? ? ?
who the fuck would seriously care about escaping? After calming the fuck down ppl would realize that no human being in history would ever have the chance to have an experience like this, an almost 100% realistic fantasy world complete with superpowers and monsters.
Wanting to go back to RL is just
>implying that people who are getting an MMO at launch are people that seriously have anything worth coming back to the real world for
>people that seriously have anything worth coming back to the real world for
No. I won't allow people to be happy. I'll invest excuses, I'll make shit up saying it's for the greater good. I'll do anything to prevent you from ever acomplishing your dreams of escapism and happiness!!
Only applies in actual games, not when it turns real.
I'm telling you, healsluts are going to become the tip of the top, expect to have to pay for a healer to even look at you.
And my Balls'n'Chain.
SAO did have some bullshit system enforced rest time, because brain fatigue.
>not crafting delicious healthy drinks yourself.
And somehow I want to PK some frontline players. Surprisingly really.
You. I like you.
Try and see how far crafting system can be broken.
As in, sword gameplay?
Guns. We need guns, universal equalizer.
Let's do business.
Well, you can't die from starvation but you can still die, work is needed to get anywhere with your existence and pretty much only view is superior to real live. This an possibility of deviation/crimes going unpunished, safe sex without pregnancy scare...thou considering how Cardinal is programmed, I'm pretty sure it would go full dick mode and introduce STD patch. For glorious mortality rate.
And high level crafters. Drops are awesome and all in MMO but this scenario means that high grade drops will be insanely expensive if at all available on the market.
Hell, this whole thing is interesting from sociological point of view for sure but then all that economy.. >>133103187
dibs on your gear, casual.
I'm surprised this shitlord series didn't have a "player killing to prevent people from clearing the game because they'd be forced to return to their own lives" plot, it would have been a lot better than the "people are player killing just cuz lol xD" plot
Become the God of all peasants and max all life skills.
Captcha: Select all images of farming tools
I know you can have sex and give birth but, I also recall, there's nothing capable of preventing a high level boss from appearing out of nowhere and drag your sorry ass to the deepest most hidden area of its cave and literally make you a breeding cow.
It's all fine and dandy when you have a male char, but assuming to be female and or stuck in a female player body, the chances of a monster girl or a pack of minotaurs ganging up on you and turn you in a semen addicted hucow are very high.
>You will never be captured by a tribe of Ara Ara lamias and turned into their personal breeding bull who gets daily visits from the entire tribe and is treated as a communal husband
Don't push me any closer to suicide anon.
Grind the fuck out of low level content with the help of my usual party members and progress extremely slowly and carefully while completely ignoring all obvious raid content. The rule was the players had to beat story mode right? From what I saw of the series there were tons of idiots doing stuff that they were underleveled for.
There's a limited amount of players, if all of them bought the low level areas the high area levels would be super cheap because of no one wanting them and the danger due to high level mobs etc
Sloooooowly exp on some local equivalent of rats. Move further only when I'm sure I'll be all right. Look for some loopholes and exploits. Farm cash, get some comfy place to stay. Maybe level smith skills and acquire currency by sitting safely in the city and hitting things with a hammer.
After all there will always be some autistic asian kids trying to git gud faster than other autistic asian kids. If they cannot beat this game, it's sure as hell that I cannot either.
Stack up on sex change scrolls and use them for myself. I would change when the situation requires it in order to rape a lot and get raped a lot.
though you can't exactly rape the willing.
>MFW final battle is smithing contest.
And there are console access shrines all around Aincrad.
If that fails, nothing prevents anyone from raping mobs.
Thou still exchanging craft items for sexual favors sound like a way to go.
Then learn some divide skill a lo piccolo and rape myself constantly. But then again he is pretty damn stupid
>Prevent sex instead of going full STD patch like >>133103285 said.
>Be 22y.o. NEET living off welfare
>Save up spare change to buy Full-Dive gaming system
>Fall in love with an NPC
>Feel weird about loving a bundle of coding
>Spend everyday grinding and leveling then returning to the same general store to sell the drops to the NPC you fell for
>You know it's a vain attempt to impress a non-living entity but you keep at it regardless, if anything for your own pleasure
>Slowly your life starts to revolve around this NPC
>One day, you find yourself unable to log out
>All other gamers are panicking or in disbelief
>Feel nothing, but decide to watch things progress
>Man calling himself 'god' locked everyone into the game
>Deaths are permanent
>NPCs are sentient
>Skills are used by-
>You stopped listening and ran to the general store
>"Oh! If it isn't Anon!"
>The NPC clerk you fell for calls out to you
>"What absurd thing did you come to sell today? Hehe."
>Flashes you a smile that could blind the sun
>After staring blankly for a few moments you try to send a greeting back but realize you don't know her name
>Though you hesitate for a beat, you ask her for her name
>"? Oh, that's right, I didn't say before huh? Now that I think about it. You've been calling me 'Clerk' for a while now, I'm Clarissa"
>Overcome by a sudden surge of emotion you decide to ask another question
>"I've been working at the store for a while now; the boss is actually my aunt you know~"
>"My mom is a baker, and my dad was a soldier before he became a blacksmith."
>"Well there was this time-"
>You asked questions for a little more than hour before Clarissa finally shot some back
>After asking each other questions for a full 6 hours you finally ran out of things to ask
>You realize that despite being in love with her, you really had no right or reason to hold her attention for this long
>You abruptly apologize and excuse yourself, as you're a step away from the door;
>"Ah! You're leaving? Then please come tomorrow!"
>Clarissa's clear voice falls on you from behind
>You stagger mid-step from the pleasant but somewhat embarrassing surprise
>After a short nod with a half turned head you make your way through the door
>You struggle to keep yourself from cheering as you turn the corner while heading back to your player house
>You force yourself to sleep despite your frantic heart
>She can speak
>Her name's Clarissa
>She smiles for me
>A real smile
>Not a programmed one but a smile just for me, who diligently came to her store over and over
>After a fleeting sleep you eagerly bound out of your home and once again head for the shop
>As you approach you see an odd sight
>Something you never saw in the game
>Clarissa is being harassed by thugs in her store while a man in somewhat nicer clothes speaks down to her
>You enter and go between the two parties
>Though she was originally looking down and away when Clarissa notices you enter she looks shocked for a moment, then watches you with eyes filled with a mix of concern, guilt, and hope.
>Thankfully since your character is quite strong and well equipped the thugs don't take action immediately
>You decide to ask the nervous Clarissa what exactly is happening
>The Aunt Clarissa spoke of yesterday, turns out the reason this small store has two workers is because the Aunt is too sick to work
>The medicine used to treat the aunt is quite pricey, and therefore Clarissa had to take out loans to get it
>Unfortunately the loaners she had gotten them from had turned out to be less than reputable
>Though the matter of loan sharks was briefly mentioned yesterday you hadn't payed it too much mind
>Part of you was still considering all of it as an NPC's 'settings' and therefore hadn't overly payed attention to it
>However since the NPC's became sentient it's only natural that their settings would start to show up like this
>You turn to the impatient thugs and the uneasy loan shark
>Seems as though they're actually quite put off by the presence of a high leveled adventurer, but since what they're doing is technically legal they don't immediately run off
>You quickly ask the loan shark exactly how much is owed and pay it
>Though it was quite a sum to a commoner in this game, for a max level player it was barely a drop in the bucket
>The loan shark and lackeys quickly leave without causing any disturbance
>Although they're trashy people it at least seems they won't bother you if you can somehow escape the absurd interest rate, most likely because that's as far as the law would allow
>You feel something press against your back
>Clarissa is holding onto you and lightly weeping
>She mutters "I'm sorry, Thank you" over and over before becoming quiet
>After a few minutes she separates and excuses herself before quickly going to another room
>She comes back with tray holding a teapot and two cups, red eyes, and a stuffy nose
>Somewhere between her leaving and seeing her face for the first time since the thugs left, you realize your actions had a much deeper effect on her than you had imagined
>You both sit down at a little table in the shops corner
>After serving the tea and urging you to drink, Clarissa maintains a fragile silence while staring at her slowly draining cup
>"You, Anon.. Today, you saved both me and my Aunt. So, again, thank you."
>Clarissa turns and lowers her head to you
>"Whatever I can do, I will definitely repay you. Just let me know what I can do."
>Clarissa looks at you seriously
>Though you wanted to say it wasn't a big deal, the determination and gratitude in Clarissa's eyes was too rampant to allow such meek words
>Possibly affected by that determination you instinctively responded;
>Though you wished to be able to say it was a joke
>Though it was truly the result of sincere desire
>Regardless the heartfelt words were truly sudden
>And equally simple
>The moment the words escaped it felt like so did your courage
>Your chest became cold and heavy
>Your cheeks started to burn
>Your vision even started to shake a bit
>But what met your unease was a strong reassurance
>Reassurance in the form of the same warm smile Clarissa had shown you yesterday
>Her moistening eyes' lustre reflected the fleeting light of the morning sun drifting through the somewhat dusty window
>"Then, I'll be in your care."
>Clarissa's voice, as if was a signal, was followed by the towns bell ringing in the distance, as if applauding the young couple
>Months pass like weeks
>Weeks like days
>Clarissa has since moved in with you
>As if they were blessed by heaven, Clarissa's sick aunt had recovered and once again manned the store, leaving Clarissa the chance to become a fully fledged housewife
>Though Clarissa became a housewife it's not as if you really had a job yourself
>The two of you were still comfortably living off your stockpile of gold from the game days
>You only need to go out and grind mobs once in a blue moon to resupply the gold you had spent the months prior
>You and Clarissa both grow close quickly, now spending every day talking at home or heading out together, and every night in the same bed
>Everything you had ever dreamed of has become a reality
>The NPC, Clarissa, who you had falled for nearly a year and half ago, was now your wife in this new world
>Spending every day together living a married life so sweet it could cause a toothache
>One night when you were preparing to sleep, Clarissa called out to you with a bashful expression
>"A-Anon, um, s-sit down for a minute."
>Though Clarissa's blushing and stuttering appearance was enough to make you want to push her down you decide to obediently sit
>"Um, s-soon. Well, not soon, but in the future.. I, no- We, will be, well.."
>Though she was, as mentioned before, cute, you couldn't help but get a bit anxious due to her own anxiety
>"A f-.. Senpai..ily..."
>Lightning slams down your spine from the top of your head
>Her words instantly become clear to you
>You, the husband
>Clarissa, the wife
>And a child
>Your and Clarissa's child
>While still recovering from your surprise you notice the still anxious Clarissa staring at you and awaiting a reply
>Still unable to give a good response, you simply draw her into your arms
>Her soft, warm waist, resting in your arms
>Her still flat stomach, the fragile looking slate of jade skin pressed against you
>You can feel her heart beat from everywhere she's touching you
>You can feel the distinct heat of her body
>Though it might simply be your delusion, you believe you can feel the distinct presence of your child from inside her stomach
>Though unable to think straight, these basic words fell from your lips without you even being aware of it
>Minutes, maybe hours later, you fall asleep listening to the rhythm of your Clarissa's breath.
:=: BAD TIMES AHEAD :=:
>Your vague awareness of your surroundings is stimulated by an androgynous, monotone voice
>[....eated, all pl......ill b. ....ed..ut..]
>A painful but dull light lazily falls on your eye lids
>Slowly you open your eyes while feeling exhausted
>The ceiling is strange
>There's a strange smell too
>Fluorescent lights, which you haven't seen in quite some time, are the cause of your quick awakening
>A man in a white coat says in a voice that sounds more like he's giving an explanation than congratulations
>"You've escaped that hellish death game."
>Though you haven't understood the situation you still feel like the temperatures dropped a few degrees
>"Now no one will end up in that damnable place again."
>The Doctor, yes the Doctor, spoke in a tone free of sympathy or interest
>Looking around you understand that you're in a hospital
>Not your home
>Not with Clarissa
>Though you have only been awake a moment
>You already feel like it's an eternity
>Looking out the foggy unadorned window at the gray sky and asphalt parking lot, you feel discomfort, followed by a stinging sense of nothingness
AND THIS IS WHY I DON'T WANT TO BE SUCKED INTO A GAME WORLD
>>"A f-.. Senpai..ily..."
this kills the feels
And now for something completely different.
We know that SAO servers where locked down and un-accessible from outside and Kayaba was monitoring any attempts to break in.
Now, considering whole VRMMO setting, is it safe to presume that such attempts would be made in full dive, in-setting mode? With permadeath and all?
Or was this part of lore explained somewhere?
All I ever want in life is for someone to create a Senpai with me
I'll kill myself and take the doctors with me.
I'm sure there will be anons that will help.
>You will never create a senpaiily with your waifu
>A f-.. Senpai..ily...
>you will never have a senpaily
>"A f-.. Senpai..ily..."
