Tokyo Ghoul, One Punch Man, and Shingeki no Kyoji are currently the most popular manga/ anime property in the West.
>So are these the biggest Manga series in the West?
>Tokyo Ghoul, One Punch Man, and Shingeki no Kyoji are currently the most popular manga/ anime property in the West.
>volume 1 of OPM
>volume 1 of SnK
>volume 7 of TG
this is triggering my autism
yes, also tokyo ghoul and one punch man are AOTS's
>Because Studio Pierrot thought it wouldn't be popular.
Yeah, I'm still mad.
It's discussed about as much as My Hero Academia and OPM if you're talking about /a/ and overshadows them both in the sales department.
Never going to forgive Pierrot and Morita for taking a big fat shit on Ishida's draft for Root A to just make a shitty abridged version of the original story with details and points being dropped left and right.
Remember when they showed one of the clowns in the first episode of Root A? Remember when they had Kanou speak the twins' names in the same episode? Remember how they do absolutely fucking nothing for the rest of the series?
That didn't save Akame ga Kill
Are sales really the only thing you guys are using to sperg about popularity?
No one is taking on account that some target audience is way more likely to buy manga than another?
Did anyone even considered things like online reader ranks, MAL, Reddit, Google Trends and such?
The Manga for Tokyo Ghoul is pretty much Viz's best selling manga for 2015. Tokyo Ghoul has been Funimation best seeing BD for the year.
Tokyo Ghoul is pretty one of the most popular manga/anime property in the West currently.
Why use any of those when sales is the most accurate representation of popularity? No one cares about the retards on Reddit and MAL because they most likely contribute to the sales in the first place you sperg.
Just wait until official releases of TG catches up to the final volume. Sales will drop like a rock for :RE
I don't understand why any author pulls the bullshit amnesia card especially halfway through the series. It's honestly made me drop TG from one of my favorites to "I read it in hopes it can be good again". Literally no reason for it to not be Kaneki willingly helping CCG or being forced into it.
As for SNK, I highly doubt sales were high until the anime release when it bolstered. The same could be said of OPM but people were also hyping that series more than the SNK manga so who knows.
Mob 100 adaption when? ONE style pls
So yeah, you are just considering what's convenient to you.
>Tokyo Ghoul has been Funimation best seeing BD for the year.
Last time Funimation made a list, Tokyo Ghoul was in 5th.
is Tokyo Ghoul really that good? The name sounds shitty.
Also, none of these are Shonen Jump? Is there even a Big 3 anymore now that Bleach is shit, Naruto finished and nobody cares about one piece?
>I don't understand why any author pulls the bullshit amnesia card especially halfway through the series.
So there are still dumb faggots who think this. It's like they don't even know what the Purpose of Kaneki joining CCG was for.
Also my friend lots of people read Re especially since it's picking up a lot.
Manga is good, but the anime is trash.
>So yeah, you are just considering what's convenient to you.
Nope. Just looking at the facts and what is most accurate. Don't care about what the stupid minorities on Reddit or MAL think as it doesn't prove anything.
>fucking Noro is a unstoppable monster
Why is he so enjoyable to watch?
>So there are still dumb faggots who think this
Buddy it's not even dumb, think about this logically from Kaneki's POV. There is absolutely no fucking reason that Kaneki upon waking up would NOT have joined CCG if they offered him a place. The only reason he hadn't joined CCG earlier was because they would've killed him on grounds of being a ghoul. Instead if they fuck his brain hard enough and he forgets being a ghoul they can accept him? That makes zero fucking sense. Yes they used him to make the Q's but is that worth wiping his memory of Aogiri info? Let alone the fact he never killed a single human.
>it's picking up a lot
You mean Kaneki is coming back so the plot can actually continue? Or do you actually believe that the plot has continued since the end of TG? Because the plot up until the current point is still "when is Kaneki returning?"
I think I'd have more respect for Ishida if Kaneki was just fucking gone at this point.
probably Boku no Hero Academia, especially with the anime coming
