Goddamnit, I know I'm late to the party but what a truly great ending. I gave it 1 or 2 episode per day to enjoy it at it's fullest and now that it has come to an end, I'm feeling all fuzzy and empty at the same time. I would have liked to see the cute interaction between Sakura and Li as a couple though. Should I read the manga now?
She doesn't make it to the other ledge, she falls and dies.
CLAMP right now is a shadow of its former self. Completely devoid of the creative acumen which was nurtured and cherished by its original team comp. Its a shame because I really liked XXXholic and Tsubasa at first.
I would be okay with a Cardcaptor Sakura continuance, so long as it's not a word for word retelling of the manga and the ladies at CLAMP have very little to do with the creative process. They can act as supervisors or consultants, but I don't want them anywhere near writing and storyboarding. Otherwise we would end up with "Tsubasa Captor Syaoran Chronicles Across the Multiverse of the 8th Dimension."
Definitely a good thing. CLAMP is literally just throwing the first piece of garbage that festered in their senile heads onto paper and printing it as manga now. Which is a shame because like others said, XXXholic and Tsubasa both were pretty interesting at first until CLAMP just completely lost it. After that, they decided to throw the plot into a shredder, dump glue all over the shreds, and then proceed to take whatever they could find at a landfill to add into the mix. And everything they continue to write just gets added into the dumpster pile.
>Seriously, what caused the CLAMP girls to lose their fucking minds?
Besides >>133136480 and >>133136815 I feel they genuinely hated that Sakura was still haunting them years later while their new projects weren't as popular.
>Should I read the manga now?
The manga is nothing compared to the anime.
Should read Tsubasa, I actually liked the anime for that, watched it way too long ago though but I remember it being really slow to the point most people don't like it.
OVAs are 10/10 tho.
CLAMP's era and their existence fade as soon as they released Tsubasa Chronicle. No one bother reading their archaic story anymore, the old bags are too stubborn to get sucked into mainstream anime/manga nowaday that's why they will remain transparent forever until they rot.
I remember wanting to fuck Syaoran so hard in the ass when I was little.
.......... ugh...... where do I begin?
She's a desert princess who loses her memories, so Syaoran has to travel the universe and across dimensions to regain her lost memories in the form of feathers or some shit, all the while he meets other people who only serve to complicate and convolute the plot, only to find out that she's a clone of some other angel princess who is the real Sakura apparently, and she eventually gets reduced to nothing more than a plot device and a baby factory for Syaoran, who is also a clone but not really, and he's apparently his own dad or some shit and Sakura and Syaoran are also the parents of one the other important character in the other story along with, and some how Sakura has another clone, and Syaoran has a "mini-me" who's mom and dad are also Sakura and Syaoran, I think, and he is also on some adventure...
I think that's about right, but the plot was so damn complicated that it was hard to follow, I checked out shortly after mini-me...
>tfw just remembered I still havent seen the second movie
>Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles
What the fuck was CLAMP thinking when they made that shit?
You do know, that it's literally the last episode. Like, I don't know if you recall but the CCS anime doesn't actually end.
Honestly, I would be happy with just a like 1 to 4 part OVA about teenage or even older Sakura Syaoran. Have some magic BS happen that they need to use the Sakura Cards to battle against. Like in the first movie.
Nothing more than that, there is nothing I want that could fill an entire series.
>hasn't seen the best part of the series
I was mad as fuck once I watched it because the Canadian dub made a minor edit to the last episode that made importing the 2nd movie impossible without heavy editing.
I don't think they ever got around to it
It's like Cardcaptor Sakura, The Matrix, Chrono Cross, Kingdom Hearts, and The DC "Crisis" storylines all clusterfucked and had a fucked up mutant baby that was written by post menopause CLAMP. That's just the manga.
For the anime... throw a plate of noodles in to that orgy. That's how shitty the animation is.
It's not that hard.
Syaoran (MC) is the son of his own clone. He's basically caught in a time loop, because the events of TRC have to happen to allow Syaoran (MC) to exist.
The evil guy creates clones of Syaoran and Sakura, then when they're about to die for good, Yuuko grants their wish to be "reborn" in the past and get to live together in some other universe. Then they give birth to Syaoran (MC) whom eventually has to fulfill his destiny and goto the Land of Clow... and his price for this is giving up his REAL name and to fill the void he leaves in his universe, Watanuki is created to be their new son.
CCS Sakura only appears once, and it seems she gives her Wand over to Yuuko to help the TRC duo out. But CCS world is completely unaffected by the events of TRC.
I went into minor shock that day when /a/ exploded from that release.
Who doesn't want more of this
Without current CLAMP, fuck them
I don't want a full remake but i wouldn't mind an OVA to test waters a bit. Lime a short and cute adventure like the middle Clow Card Hunt episodes. The one with the Move Card and a Tale Book about a Pig is one of my favourite comfy episodes.
Well then they get to go to middle school, and then high school together, experiment when their parents aren't around, and eventually get married and pass on the cards to their kids.
