>>16306906 Abortion is already legal so saying you're "pro-choice" just means "I'm entertaining the idea that I'd like to get one if I wanted" but I'll never want or need one. It's a pointless stance to have.
>>16306845 >>16306854 >>16306874 As long as this list is, aside from maybe 2 or 3 things I don't see how this is actually unreasonable. It's pretty much saying "I'd like a girl that isn't a raging slut attention whore single mom that pretends to be otherwise"
>>16306739 >doesn't drink >can't banter >content with a go-nowhere job >intrusive dietary restrictions (I onced tried to date a girl who was allergic to seafood, dairy and garlic. It was such a culinary cockblock)
>"I have tattoos" Yeah, this one could be depending on the amount.
>"I have piercings" This CAN be one. Depends on how many I think just like tatoos.
>"I'm a feminist" Dear god yes. Run away the moment you can.
>"I'm a liberal" She can be liberal, but if she flat out says it like it really matters to her, then I could see this. Ideologues really aren't good in men or women. Unless they are actually well versed in economics.
>"I was raised by a single mom" Can be if the mom was bitter. So... yeah. At least in a long lasting relationship its a red flag.
>"I've slept with x number of men" Can be, yes.
>"I have a tumblr" ...Maybe. Yes? >"I'm an atheist" Nah.
>"I'm a vegetarian" Only if they are ideologues about it. Some women are just picky eaters. This is not a red flag.
>"I'm voting for Hilary Clinton" Pretty much. It isn't that she's a democrat, its that she's THAT type of democrat. Find the exit.
>"I don't like dogs" ...nah.
>"I take birth control for cramps" Yikes, I have never had this one. I'm ignorant about this.
>"All my friends are male" Yep.
>"I've had an abortion before" ....hard to say.
>"I've dated a black guy before" Yeah lol
>"I like to go clubbing" Yep.
>"Men should pay for everything" YEP.
>"I have a child" YEP.
>"I don't know who the father is" Didn't I already say Yep?
>"I have some condoms in my drawer" ....?
>"I have to go see my psychiatrist next week" Yeah...
>"I'm spiritual" I need context for this.
>"I wear yoga pants because they're comfy" Around the house? No prob. In public, hit and run.
You guys keep saying drinking is a red flag. I'm new to dating and my current bf of 3 months drinks about 2x per week. Should I be worried? He either invites people over to drink or goes to bars to drink with his buddy. I'm not 21 yet so I can't go out to drink.
>>16307007 Because men usually don't go around saying "I'm a gamer" for attention. If the girl genuinely likes games, she wont say "YEAH I'M A (GIRL) GAMER." They say this for attention and so you know that they are "not like other girls."
Interests should come out naturally in conversation, and not be used to get attention.
Basically, the red flag isn't the fact that she likes games, it's that she feels the need to parade it around to be unique.
>Tattoos. >Dyes their hair unnatural colors. >Insecurity issues >Them and their parents don't get along >Liberal, socialist, statist
>>16307007 Because 98% of the time they're just attention whores. If you just like video games more power to you, but the majority of women who call themselves girl gamers are trying to garner male attention.
Besides, most of the time their tastes are entry level at best.
>>16308564 I don't think drinking on its own is anything bad. Its when they habitually get drunk, or drink to just handle everyday stress. Like many things moderation is the issue.
>aposemitic poison dart frog colored pixie-cut hair >"problematic" full black rimmed oversized glasses >piercings other than ears, no gauges >tattoos of quotes, lyrics, or something they thought looked cool without really having a story behind it. >has a facebook, twitter, instagram, tumblr, or some other shitty social networking fad site. the only acceptable one is google+. >uses any Apple product besides maybe an iPod nano/mp3 player. >"I can't survive without coffee" >draws eyebrows >obese. if they are a little chubby that's ok because they make good mothers but if they don't work out, into the trash they go.
>>16308645 >has a facebook, twitter, instagram, tumblr, or some other shitty social networking fad site. the only acceptable one is google+. I'm pretty sure people only have a google+ account for youtube crap
>>16308688 >) Does this only apply to stereotype thugs/hoodrats, or is it any/all black guys? Depends on the individual. Thugs and hoodrats are an instant dealbreaker, but I'll still think twice if she just dated a black guy in general. Same rule applies to Russians.
>What if she dates a complete asshole/abuser/thug who's white? See above. They may not be actual niggers, but they have the soul of one which is close enough.
>>16308737 >I thought "niggers" was a term relegated to only the 'bad' people of color and not all of them. Generally speaking yes. But you're ignoring what they're known for. Violence, drugs, domestic abuse, and so on. Russians tend to follow that ritual fairly well.
>And by this logic, every white guy has the soul of a school shooter which is also pretty terrible You only hear about it in the news because it gets old hearing about how a parole baboon shot up the street in Chicago or Baltimore or what have you every day. Its something exciting when a white or asian does it.
>>16308784 >Funny, I'm not known for any of these things, and neither are any black men or women I've ever known. We were talking about what niggers were known for. I'm going on a limb and guessing you arent a gangbanger.
>And I guess white men don't illegally deal in drugs, violence or abuse. Except when they do. Oops. Some do. Not at the same rate. That's why blacks are stereotyped as doing drugs and violence, and we have white girls with uggs and starbucks.
>If a black/brown guy does it it's business as usual Which it is. If we focused on it every time there was senseless killing due to black gang violence, even 24/7 news stations couldn't cover everything.
>Identify as anything other than 'straight' i.e. pansexual, bi, queer etc. etc. >Tattoos (one very small, subtle one is okay I guess) >Smokes >Feminist >Uses snapchat or tumblr >Hair dyed blue/green or any stupid color >Anything pierced but her ears >Anything to indicate or suggest she's sexually liberal and has had one night stands, threesomes, lesbian sex, etc. in the past >"I hang out with guys because they're less drama"
>>16308808 All fair enough. I still think whites have their own capacity to be terrible but I'm not here to say whites are terrible. I'm here to say that we should be judging individuals as individuals, not the acts of other people from their "group".
The reason this bothers me is that I know I am not a "nigger", but I can't do much to help the fact that people might be judging me as one. I've never been a victim of overt racism, and I haven't given people a reason to; I work, I pay taxes, I have never stolen or knowingly committed a crime, never physically harmed anyone else etc. so I shouldn't have to worry right?
But so many guys, especially on a website I frequent, absolutely loathe the idea of a woman they like having dated a black man or, as it seems, any man who isn't "white looking".
So really, if you meet somebody like me out on the street, and notice I'm not wearing pants down to my ass, blasting rap mp3s from my phone, or speaking in ebonics, will I be at "your level"? Will the idea of me dating "outside of my race" (strange concept because I'm multiracial) disturb you? Or will I be left alone and not judged/stereotyped? And how about the women who date me, will they be seen as trash for ever going near me or are they still worthy of consideration?
No, because when it's street violence is something people can understand because they're gang members, are elated to hand members or live in a pseudo urban war zone. People aren't shocked when soldiers or insurgents get shot in kandahar, either.
But when some white or Asian fair shoots people up, it's because they're fucking crazy and otherwise have no real reason to go on a rampage besides their own mental illness. The other reason is because it's usually a reflection of something fucked within society, which makes people uncomfortable because they'd rather pretend like everything is fine.
Though I'm going to assume that somebody who cares about the number of partners a girl has had, is likely more concerned with the fact that she's had more partners/more experience than him. This can be a real issue to guys who have either struggled with the opposite sex, or don't care for one-nighters/casual sex/this whole sexually liberated society thing. Usually, it's a combination of both.
>>16308888 The point is that outside of a relationship, there's no reason to have condoms sitting around. Having condoms/birth control readily available implies you go out looking for casual sex, you're completely open and wiling if the opportunity presents itself. And there's people who, for a variety of reasons, do not care for that, so seeing birth prevention/safe sex accessories lying around is a red flag to *them*.
>>16308855 >But when some white or Asian fair shoots people up, it's because they're fucking crazy and otherwise have no real reason to go on a rampage besides their own mental illness In other words, exciting, new and fresh. The black nutjob is often drowned out by all the regular gang violence. The asian that picks up a rifle stands out, its not a common occurrence to have china town blasted with gunfire.
>>16308852 >I still think whites have their own capacity to be terrible Sure. But Rhodesia says more than I ever could.
>I'm here to say that we should be judging individuals as individuals, not the acts of other people from their "group". Even a child is capable of pattern recognition. Women clutch their purse and walk on the other side of the street for a reason. If I don't know you, I'll use what information is available. Certain races are much more fond of forcey fun time.
Possibly. But either way I'd still be judging you, it would just be a net positive.
Part of the issue is when a girl sleeps with a black, its generally to piss off her father or to try to prove how tolerant she is. So even if you yourself are a quality person, I'll still be skeptical towards the woman.
>>16308906 >Part of the issue is when a girl sleeps with a black, its generally to piss off her father or to try to prove how tolerant she is. So even if you yourself are a quality person, I'll still be skeptical towards the woman.
I'll be honest here: I'm still a virgin. Never once had sex. I've had offers though a couple of times, like straight up offers to shag, and other times girls have shown interest. The first one to offer it was this petite blonde girl, and I'm not here to brag about it or anything but her friend told her straight up "I'd never date a nigger". We both thought that was incredibly strange, but looking back I see that's an attitude pervasive in many men and women.
I've never met one of these emotionally disturbed/rebellious girls who tried to get with me to piss off her dad or prove that she's not a racist. The only girls I meet are ones who seem genuinely interested in getting to know me, while being open to making it into something more. I never once had the impression that she was using me to piss off daddy or clean her conscience. So, either I've been blind to it/just didn't spend enough time with any one girl to realize what she was up to, or it's not that big a thing. Or maybe I just have not met enough women. Who knows.
>>16308910 Watching TV for less than one hour? What the fuck? I literally have never come across anybody who fits this criteria ever. Could have at least said less than an hour a day. That would give you some chance.
>>16308929 >I've never met one of these emotionally disturbed/rebellious girls who tried to get with me to piss off her dad or prove that she's not a racist. That's nice. Go to college. They're a dime a dozen.
>>16308861 Its awful. I'm allergic to it and it has changed everything I eat since it developed. Its not required to be listed on food packaging, so basically "spices" or "flavouring" means garlic. Lot's of food company's won't answer you straight if you email and ask. No ready made food, condiments, anything packaged. Restaurants either don't believe you when you say you're allergic, or are clueless as to what things they use actually have garlic, because its not listed often.
It so depressing. Goodbye fave foods. Past 2 days I've had porridge, salads (no dressing) and some tuna and rice.
>"I drink" socially is ok >"I smoke" dropped >"I have tattoos" dropped >"I have piercings" dropped, except for ear lobes, cause thats normal. >"I'm a girl gamer" eh, depends upon what games she likes, but probably dropped >"I'm a feminist" fuck no, run, run as fast as you can >"I'm a liberal" dropped, unless they say "classical liberal" >"I'm pro-choice" if its in the bio, then its iffy >"I was raised by a single mom" ehhhhh >"I can't cook" as long as you're willing to learn, its fine. >"I've slept with x number of men" dropped >"I have a tumblr" dropped >"I'm a vegetarian" dropped >"I'm an atheist" irrelevant >"I'm voting for Hilary Clinton" dropped >"I don't like dogs" dropped >"I take birth control for cramps" I've never heard this, but dropped >"All my friends are male" ehh... might be ok. >"I've had an abortion before" dropped >"I've dated a black guy before" double dropped >"I like to go clubbing" quadruple dropped >"Men should pay for everything" if its in the bio, dropped like an unwanted infant. if its in conversation, then it may just be old-fashioned thinking, which is fine. >"I have a child" dropped if this is paired with anything else on here. otherwise its probably fine. >"I don't know who the father is" fuck no >"I have some condoms in my drawer" neat, now wheres the results that show you tested negative for std's? >"I have to go see my psychiatrist next week" mite b gud. >"I'm spiritual" as long as she's not wiccan is fine >"I wear yoga pants because they're comfy" I dont get this one.
I think what the anon was trying to get at was yoga pants, other than being worn around the house or working out, are trashy and used as a way for girls to get guysto pay attention to them because of their ass
For a male: >I play more than 4 hours of vidya a day >I only shower twice a week >I smoke weed/do drugs >I don't know understand shit-posting
Physically, a red flag is, if they're over the healthy range for their BMI (fatties = I literally have no fucking respect for myself), or if all their clothes are torn and have holes in them. I'd also consider running away if they are financially dependent on their parents.
>>16306739 >"Who cares if he's nice, he's hot!" I heard a woman friend of mine say that. It had to be one of the most shallow things I've ever heard.
>all these people against drinking Nothing wrong with drinking as long as you control it. I don't drink (and never plan to) but my gf does on special occasions sometimes. It's the people that go to parties to get hammered or people that can't stand you not drinking/can't stand anyone drinking are the ones I'll avoid.
>>16306845 What about the standard ear piercing like what? I don't think that it's their fault how they were raised? And if you're really that insecure about how many men she's slept with (within a reasonable amount) then maybe you shouldn't really date in general im gonna be honest
>>16306874 i mean like i'm obviously gonna judge girls who wear baggy sweatpants for comfortability but i dont judge for yoga pants so the answer to yoga pants is actually rly obvious if youre gonna judge a girl for wearing baggy sweatpants
>>16307496 >divorced parents the same applies to men don't bring your fucking mommy and daddy didn't love me enough to stay together issues into the fucking house im not gonna raise a family with you just so you can invade it with all of your dumbass insecurities of how daddy was distant and only sent you a card for your birthday and you walked in on your mom fucking the mailman honestly guys with divorced parents are the worst
For men: >plays videogames >drinks regularly >has any kind of piercing or tattoo whatsoever >keeps condoms on himself >has any kind of hairstyle that comes past his ears >doesn't go to the gym at all or goes so much he practically lives there >cargo shorts and worn out band tshirts >nothing but nike merchandise >any level of judgement on bi girls who are dating other women >if his underwear or socks have any holes in them >can't stand any other religion >likes memes irl >has a tumblr >can't grow out any facial hair >shorter than 5'8 instantly massive insecurities under that height >hates pets (especially dogs) >goes clubbing >smokes >gets high >"I'm pro-logic and anti-stupidity" well isn't everyone there smart guy >is a writer >uses any kind of slang like "fam" or "swag" or "chill" >is anything more hardcore than a moderate republican/democrat >doesn't at least trim his pubes when you have sex
>>16312209 for men: >drinks coffee >doesn't shower everyday >has divorced parents >was only raised by his mom >is an only child >has slept with more than two women in the past >refuses to say how many women he's slept with on account that he's a manslut >is friends with other women >has a snapchat >has an instagram >has anything other than a facebook >makes go back to the kitchen jokes >goes on 4chan pol, r9k >goes on reddit >has dated a latina girl before >likes clubbing >likes parties >can't cook >can't do chores >likes donald trump >keeps condoms on him
>>16312227 >>16312209 Wow would I pass your list? I have a snapchat, but no women, only my friends who are guys. I do play video games but not very often, I have curly hair so it goes past my ears a little bit sometimes, I drink coffee, and I don't go to the gym but I'd be willing to. My parents are divorced,
