Just when I think I've decided which grooming tool is best, I'm met with another advertisement that makes me rethink my choice.
Long hair cat owners, what de-shedder/grooming tool do you like best? I have a himmy and he's difficult to groom. He thinks it's play time and won't stay still. So I need something that's highly effective without needing to really dig in there. Gentle too, because he's a big baby.
Greyhound comb, 100%, the teeth are long enough to reach down to the skin and pull out undercoat and the comb is dexterous enough to reach into sensitive areas like armpits and groin. Follow with pin brush for overall finishing.

So my shi-tzu sneezed a little bit of blood this morning, should I just put her down? she's pretty old and deaf (blind due to cataracts) I heard nose bleeds are usually cancer. Can't afford a CT scan at the moment. took her to the vet and told just gave me antibiotics and that vietnam blood medicine.
I am a vet nurse/tech starting puppy training classes in our practice based around dogs having fun at the vets and habituation towards equipment, restraint and handling for veterinary procedures like clipping nails, examining teeth and ears, injections, blood sampling to promote happy stress free vet visits, so the dogs aren't scared and aggressive when they come in. Now I need a name for these classes. We were going to call them "love your vet" classes but a local trainer has a similar name "love dog training"... Comment too long. We got a new puppy for the holidays, his name is R2-D2 which we just call him R2 for short. He was pushed away from his mother at 3 weeks(pic here at 5 weeks old) so we took him in and took over the weening process since the mother pushed him off too early. He's a wonderful, smart animal and shows tons of personality on his face. I love this bastard to death but I feel he might actually be the death of me, or my sleep altogether.
He is NOT taking with crate training although he did well the first two nights in it he has been throwing hissy fits every time he notices we are not in the room with him inside the kennel. Anyone got any advice for this? I've thought about giving him treats and such for being good while he's in there and not crying like a dying bobcat. I've also thought about giving him his daily food portions inside the crate to make him more comfortable in there when he is in there. Thoughts? Opinions? Please my sanity needs your help.
>>2043463 My older dog that I've had for about a year and half never went through these issues. Though, she's a rather quiet dog compared to him. He just shows so much personality and is very vocal. I've gotten into a few "talking matches" where we've gone back and forth with each other and he's barely 6 weeks old now. I am not normally one to crate train since I live in the country but have since moved back to a bigger city and he can't stay outside all of the time and I don't need... Comment too long. How much will a flock of budgies fuck up my life? I don't have a house. I live in a rented apartment. I rent it from my parents, and they don't really care if I wreck it completely, however it's quite small (two rooms).
I currently have a female budgie and want her to be happy and shit, from what I now know budgies are very very very social.
Jesus christ OP did you do no research before you got a dog? Doing what you did activates a complex series of pressure points and completely fucks your dogs health. Expect basketball sized tumors within the month.
I'd recommend calling a vet and asking if they can fix it for you. Just tell them you accidentely activated your dogs cancer gene and they'll know what you mean.
At what point should you start being seriously concerned about a dog throwing up? The day before yesterday my dog had some milky white spit up, yesterday full blown vomited on the bed, and this morning just did the milky white spit again. She's the same as always behavior wise and there's nothing strange sitting out in the open for her to eat.
