>taking a walk to petco to get crickets >birds, hamsters, and mice and shit are all healthy and lively >half the fish are quarantined, 'under observation' >reptiles are all sickly looking >bearded dragons and gecko tanks full of that 'calci-sand' bullshit >iguana's nose is all scarred/torn up from constantly rubbing on its tank wall >tortoises... >go to local petshop >90% of their reptiles enclosures consist soley of a water bowl >Brazillian Rainbow Boa constantly soaking in it's waterbowl with it's enclosures humidity being somewhere around 30% >puppies kept in glass tanks on display with giant water drippers as if their rabbits >up to 50 rats in a 20gl aquarium (just saw a rat missing its' ears the other day)

Hi /an/. I was petting my dog and felt a small, hard bump on my dog's skin. It was hard to find because he's covered in so much hair. But it has little black dots all around it. I'm wondering if anyone here has any idea what this is?
Hey guys, my 14 year old buddy won't eat any dry or wet food. It started about a month ago and has just gotten worse. He won't eat any dry, and will just lick the gravy off wet food. I worried it was his teeth but they're fine. I got to the end of my rope and bought rotisserie chicken, and cut it into cat size bites and he licked the bowl clean. I even gave him a bone and he ate half of it. Why won't he eat at least wet food? Why turn up his nose until I cut him fresh chicken? I'm not opposed to feeding him fresh, how many more years has he got anyway,... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Hello /an I have got a fiesty little maine coon that is 1 year old and weighs 22 pounds. As it will soon get into the breeding age I have a problem- it was born with a congenital eye disease, which means that other coon breeders will not want to breed with my cat for the fear of the disease carrying on to offspring. I don't want to get it neutered either because it seems unfair to the animal. I was wondering if it is possible for a maine coon to have sex with a regular cat (I let it outside every once in a while). tl.dr: can maine coon and regular cats have sex/ will... Comment too long. So recently a cat wandered into my house. At first I assumed she was homeless since she didn't have a collar, but she's pretty healthy-looking and fully housebroken, if a little fleabitten. After putting up some "missing cat" flyers, her owner came by and felt this was worth getting confrontational over, accusing me of stealing their cat. Of course, the cat being a fucking cat, she still keeps wandering into my house any time I open the door. She refuses to leave, and won't to stay at her actual home if I take her over there in the... >>2037451 I have no idea what they do with her. The impression I got from the owner when they came over to tell me to stop keeping their cat was that they didn't give a shit about anything except the fact that it was "Their cat". I'd be more than happy to give the cat back to them, but there's fuck all I can do because the lovable little shit keeps coming back of her own accord.
Reminder that the salamander and newt hobby is getting completely shut down soon. If you wanted any species of salamander/newt that isn't a tiger salamander or axolotl, you have until january 28th to get it.
