the cactus on the left looks like a dick, do you know what kind of cactus is that /an/?
Is that why I couldn't even manage to keep a cactus alive?
My cousin found this on a beach in Humboldt County, CA, in mid December.
Anyone have any idea what it might be?
Do you play music for your flora and/or fauna /an/?
OK, here's something I wanted to ask /an/.
So as it turns out giant squids are actually pretty chill, not vicious monsters, but total bros when swimming with Japanese divers. What about the colossal squid, though?
There was a story about a submarine getting "clawed" by a squid - most likely a colossal one, nowadays it's well known that Architeuthis does not have claws -, is there any truth to that? And does anyone have a source, or details on it?
Thanks for any help.
Hi /an/, I'm from /po/ and I figured you guys would know
Is it normal for horses to look like this?
Who are some good dog trainers? Preferably ones who have online resources and tips. Preferably not anybody else who subscribes to the dominance training bullshit or uses negative reinforcement in obedience training.
How does this make /an/ feel?
What kind of breed/ mix might they be?
Do animals have emotions? To what extent?
Depends on the animal. I would venture to say most really only understand instinctual fear and the ability to nurture their young with "love", but domestic animals that have been specifically bred over thousands of years to have emotions and love us are an exception. Obviously, not knowing English is a problem, so it's not like they're thinking "Oh, God, I love Gerald so much, he's such a kind owner." so they're about as emotional as they can be while missing a few brain layers...

Beautiful animals you absoloutly love but everyone else finds disgusting.
Hammerhead flatworms, because why not.

Does /an/ watch the puppy bowl?
Hey /an/ I think my dog is really sick and she keeps throwing up a thick siliva substance and I can't take her anywhere because I don't have a car and I'm home alone. I think I might have to put her down soon /an/
She is currently resting and breathing a little faster than normal
Pic related it's her
Is she eating and drinking at all? Could be blood mixed in the vomit, which could account for the thickness,or food, depending on its color. You should try and call someone, get them to take you to the vet ASAP. Also, call the vet and let them know what's going on, ask questions, etc.
So at my work we started testing our products on dogs. I feel really bad about it and I'm not sure it's even legal. Should I just quit, or could I talk my employer into other testing methods?
Well, maybe if you actually went into some detail we could help. You can't just present an extremely vague situation and expect us to determine the humanity and legality of what's going on.
