My roommate stepped on my cats tail yesterday, she yowled loudly and now (12 hours later) she's walking around with a dropped tail and gets mad when I touch it. She seems to be able to move her tail, but she's being extremely tender about it, and is currently hiding under my bed. Could this just be a bruised tail or something minor? Do I wait a couple days before going to the vet to see if it improves?
I'd take her to the vet. At the very least, you could get her some good pain relievers. If it still hurts that badly twelve hours later, it probably is more than a bruise. You'll probably need an xray.
Yes, it could just be bruised, and yes, it could also be badly broken. There's no way anyone can diagnose it over the internet- personally, I would take her to the vet as soon as possible (though not in the middle of the night or anything) if she's hiding and reacting badly when it's touched. Cats are usually very quiet and undemonstrative when in pain, so if she's clearly stressed 12 hours later, she probably is hurting quite a bit.
How many hobo/stray animals are you feeding right now?
I'm pretty rural and I have about 5 regulars that show up every day to be fed with my outside barn cats.
Half of the stray ones are basically feral and won't let me get within 3 feet of them. The others probably belonged to someone in the past because they are very tame. I feel bad for them. We go through 25# cat food a week.
People dump and drop off their unwanted animals out here all the time.
Pic related is one that I'm trying to work with at the moment. I call him Spizzy.... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I'm pretty sure my dog doesn't really like me and would rather spend even more time with my mom, my uncle or her best doggyfriend. What do I do? I was thinking suicide but I'm open to other suggestions.
I would like to hear from people that have a French bulldog. My wife bought one and is going to pick it up Saturday. Its AKC registered.4 months old. She paid $1.600 for it. Now we have had a English bulldog that died of old age at the beginning of summer. It had skin and hip issues and respiratory problems at the end and cost a shit load at the vets but the money is not the problem it was the struggle keeping him healthy. Now she assured that her dogs (breeders) have been check for hip displacement and spine compression and not had much if any skin issues or breathing... Comment too long. >>2019417 Unfortunately he was. Apparently, CM doesn't understand canine body language very well. The dog kept signalling that she felt threatened and she needed space but he kept challenging her and invaded her space. Why is it called the White-necked Crow? Its neck is not white and it's not like there was a shortage of distinctive characteristics. Its irises are red. That’s relay rear in members of the Corvus genus. They should call it the Red-eyed Crow and if there is already a Corvid called that then they should call it the Red eyed Raven.
By far my favourite insects (and favourite animal overall). They're like elegant alien warriors. I can only find green and brown kinds where I live but there are so many incredible varieties. Post pics if you have them.
Anyyone have any idea of what he might be doing? He's been ripping up newspaper and creating that little mess in the corner. He's a 13 year old peachfaced lovebird and still very active and had a companion who passed away about 5 years ago.
Ok /an/. My sister says if I break the cats neck, it's murder. Cat is 15 and has bad cancer. She says me killing other pets is murder not mercy, WTF do I do. Idea now is wait for quality of life to go before I break neck. Honestly I think it's a good idea. It's worked before. Any help?
