I'm gonna be fighting a fella on Saturday (in an octagon) and I need some advice. I train in Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai striking and boxing. I'm not very good at them but either is the fella I'm fighting. By 12, refine and further develop his Kicking skills with Taekwondo, and not the shitty TKD, either. By 13, he should have a solid foundation for hand to hand combat. Get him started on MMA formally (and... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>814847 I did judo, had to quit because of work. I am thinking of getting back in, but I'm wondering if I shouldn't defect to BJJ. two reasons, one I am a little older now, and newaza is a little easier on the knees, and second, I like the traditional aspects of judo but hate the new rules they've been adding
