You Grove You Lose
Normal mode - moving to the beat = lose.
Hard mode - no singing / copying sounds from the song
God mode - none of the above / tapping finger or foot to the beat.

You guys use the term "groove" loosely.
Now THAT's what I'm talking about. I just nostalged at OP's link, and then people started just flooding the thread with generic classic rock or rap, you expect me to groove to that shit when it's not even groove music? Lost here.
tapping a foot or finger to the beat is moving to the beat.
also, who's not more likely to move to the beat rather than sing along? You'd have to have heard all the songs before to be able to sing along anyway.
don't bother if you have no base
JESUS CHRIST! this is the worst fucking thread. I bet you assholes would love this shit. get ready to sing along and groove like a motherrfucker.
Damn you OP, I'm out.
Yeah idk why this thread is shit cause usually these threads are good. I'll save this thread.
Nobody should give a fuck if they lose to Thundercat.
From the lands, the lands afar,
I bring ointments, spice and sounds of the bizarre.
Not only is your opinion of what groove is, total shit, but by you presenting this song as an example of groove, you are empirically and provably wrong in your understanding of what "groove" means. Groove requires specific musical characteristics of which your presented song does not demonstrate. Please educate yourself on what "groove" means by consulting a reputable source of musicological definitions.
Good luck, fellas.

Racist. Why is "Awkward white guy in shorts" okay and funny, but you make a song called "Stupid black guy in baggy pants" and suddenly it's racist and offensive. If people really want equality, shouldn't they be up-in-arms about pointing pointing out white-based racial stereotypes as racist/offensive?
