Name a band/artist and their best album
You spelled Liebe Ist für Alle Da wrong
Posting an obvious one
>My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
>tfw i saw them live and ich tu der weh was their opening
pic related >mfw people listen to Rammstein
That's an awfully funny way of saying "Sehnsucht"
Sehnsucht, oh my fucking god, how could I forget?!
Anon is right. Sehnsucht is the best.
>Blood Fire Death
First fucking viking/pagan metal album
rammstein´s albums are all awesome, but i´d go with reise, reise too
>Larks' Tongues in Aspic
Awaiting the inevitable "ItCotKC was better" response.
Best one, even though Self Titled and Saturday Night Wrist come close.
Most people say "Dark Side" or "The Wall", but in honesty, I gotta go with "Animals".
forgot the image
Get on my level
I think I'm gonna have to agree with op. Reise, Reise, Mein Teil and Ohne Dich are pretty amazing. Du Riechst So Gut is my top favourite song though. Rammstein are my favourite band. Its good to see them on here.
I see Around The Fur as a transition album where the band started to find their own sound rather than follow the 'nu metal' trends popular at that time.
Wonder if anybody would put Diamond Eyes or Koi No Yokan as their favorite.
Legend of the Bone Carver is their best album.
Sorry I thought it said "first."
It's fantasy metal. However even if you don't like that genre typically, I recommend 3 full listens with headphones, and really listen to the lyrics. It's an epic story concept album, kind of a combo of Legend of Zelda and Lord of the Rings. Someone needs to make a video game set to this. It got me through some really hard times. And if you're on a loud bus or train it is guaranteed to block all outside sounds lol
shit album, mediocre band
>pic related to OP's thread
Panic! At The Disco
Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die
I love all their stuff myself, and while I wouldn't argue with White Pony being their best effort, Diamond Eyes remains my personal favorite because of memories I have attached to it.
Good choice. From Wyatt's solo stuff I would say Rock Bottom
what this guy said.
Piper is their best release. After Barrett choice would be either Animals or Atom Heart Mother.
>the hold steady
>boys and girls in america
The Clown is pretty good too though
This Nation's Saving Grace
EPICA - the quantum enigma = symphonic Metal, verry verry good and unknown i think
anything after this was MEH at best.
You've peaked my interest anon. Will be torrenting imminently. Will give 3 whole listens as suggested.
Also Marilyn Manson-Portrait
that's not Dookie.
Ghost - Infestissumam
They've only made 2 albums, so not really a hard choice.
You niggers are into some serious dogshit. Have some god-tier musics
Talon of the Hawk sucked so much cock.
Whoever posted Hurley was fucking retarded.
>Passion And Warfare
>Images and Words
>The Joshua Tree
>Guns n Roses
>Appetite for Destruction
mandatory fun is creeping up reeeeal close though
True, but I can't really bash on them for changing their style after so many years. They just play to a different crowd now.
Also, RPM had
> A journey cover.
>Like an Angel
>Voices off Camera
I'd say they were already halfway there in RPM. So unless you want to say they were shit after the unraveling, then yeah.
>Pet Shop Boys
Pushing the Senses
>Thirty Seconds to Mars
30 Seconds to Mars
(What's The Story) Morning Glory?
Not Over Yet
>Fall Out Boy
From Under The Cork Tree
Gorgoroth - Antichrist
>Possessed (By Satan)
Shame it didn't have Profetens Apenbaring on it
The right album for Rammstein was definitely Liebe ist für alle da.
Whatever floats your boat.
Hope someone else likes my fav band and their best album. D: These threads tend to just be post after post of images with no replys to any other post. i cri ;_;
I'd say it's between that or pic related.
really digging Origins
but im gonna have to go with Slania
wooooo, calm down.
I'd go for RAM, honestly. More diverse, and more interesting musically. I agree that Homework is more dance-able, but also more confined into minimal/bordering on house.
if we agree that daft punk's signature os tp blend genres, homework was mostly reuniting electronica and rock from the 1990s, while RAM went throughout a wider array of genres/decades.
I'm open to debate, tho.
discovery was uneven, but still has some of my favorite daft punk songs.
human after all was... interesting.
ALSO, ALIVE 2007.
RAM was total shit. I mean I love Daft Punk but this felt like more of lets just get every big person in dance out there to contribute so we can win grammy.
Plus it had tracks that were almost Disco, just no...
i've grown pretty attached to speak now, there was a nice consistency over which still hung the shadow of bad country, but with the feeling of someone trying to break off that influence.
and she made that happen in Red, but as an accomplished mainstream pop artist (and i don't use pop in a derogatory sense), and I kinda miss the tension of Speak Now
why is the fact that they have disco tracks a bad thing, if they're good?
also, they're the only producers on the album. they worked the same way they did on homework, except they had more money and more connections to make a better record.
This is the problem though. Not that there is Disco tracks but overall it has a bunch of good tracks in their own right but when combined together, it just felt boring and slow.
It's hard to me and sit and listen to that whole album without getting bored about 1/3rd of the way through.
