Does anyone know how to get into an iphone with a passcode?
gf broke up with me and forgot her old iphone 5.
i have a few nudes of her still.
know theres a shit ton more on that phone.
Turn phone off. As soon as it's off hold down the home for 3 seconds, after 3 seconds continue holding it AND press down on the power button. Hold these two buttons for 7 secs and then release. Should pop up that you need to connect it to iTunes or just be straight black screen. This means it's in DFU mode (google it if my instructions don't make sense)
Hook it up to iTunes and hard reset. You'll lose everything on it but free iPhone 5
you're not understanding anon.
i paid for this phone originally, but when we broke up she left it and got a new phone on her new plan.
i don't need a free iphone 5 and i know how to hard reset.
the point is to access the photos and shit.
Obviously never had an Apple product. When you connect it to your PC and try checking what's on it in the only thing you'll find is an empty map if I'm not mistaken, that's why everybody is forced to use that piece of shit called iTunes.
yes i do, dont know how i got that wrong haha.

#4 seems your best bet
not sure exactly. I know she had used icloud but then won't i need that password?
i know its not a number like that. i tried a few numbers that i KNOW she had used before but no luck
good thinking, tried. no luck.
working on trying that.
something else for all your help anons
i have an idea and a good guess at what that password might be.
one thing im wondering is if I hook it up to my itunes, i have a mac btw, and i restore it like others have said will i be able to back it up BEFORE it erases everything even though its locked. because then i could just back it up as it is today, factory restore it, then restore the backup.
So basically can I back up the iphone if it's still locked?
It auto backs up to icloud now and again, and in my experience you can connect your iphone to itunes and view a tab called 'on this iphone' and you should be able to save them to your computer maybe( i'm using windows pc and an iphone 5c)? I'm not entirely sure
come on /b/ nothing has worked so far.
anyone got more info/ideas?
might as well dump what i do have
damnit i know theres so much better on that phone
Call her and pretend to be from FBI. Say anon is being investigated on suspicion of terrorist activity and that you need the passcode immediately or she too could face charges for assisting a terrorist. Bitches love drama. Hack the mind, not the phone.
It absolutely helps that it's your phone. Your contract, with your serial number. Just bring it in, tell them your ex changed the passcode after you broke up, and you've got important files you want to view.
When me and my ex broke up she left her phone at mine. I tried a few combinations and eventually got into it. I tried her bday mo/yr (0493), her birth year (1993) and then her initials and mine for an old phone (2537 or cjdp). I don't know if it helps but it might shed some light on what may work. God speed anon, show us dat pussy.
aah. far too far.
im about to go to the IT/geek/tech guy at my company. i was trying to avoid it but im sure he'll find a way.
he's probably already in this thread.
will post later today or tomorrow.
You can find drivers online which will let you use the iPod's memory as if it were an external hard drive, despite it being locked.
>see pic, ignore name
This is your best bet. Iphones don't encrypt with the password, just like windows and even android, they just throw up a preliminary screen. this means that you can still get all the files without the password, you just can't use the phone. I'd definitely go for this because you can also get her passwords for any websites she has saved on the phone and whatnot. best of luck op.
if you can somehow get a thermal camera and look at the phone with it, you'll see the parts most touched (the passcode) will be hotter, i'd also recommend putting it in a freezer but be quick so the heat doesnt go away, it's just so the heat stands out better but for a shorter time
plug it into computer and upload pictures you don't even have to enter the passcode fool
Uh, just import the photos.
1) Plug the phone into a computer
2) Go to Windows Photo Gallery type "photo gallery" in the start menu search box.
3) Click home on the top, and go down to import.
4) a window will come up with recognized devices and will show the iPhone. Select it and click import.
5) Click "more options" and choose the directory they'll go to and hit okay.
6) Select "import at New items" and hit next.
You'll now have every video and photo from the phone on your PC.
OR connect your phone, and back it up, then back up the files from her phones backup to your phone. Once you've got the photos, re-backup your phone with your files that you already backed up.
