What do you think is the most-dangerous/violent/crime-ridden city in America? Anyone interested in discussing this this morning?
I've started this thread several times and have gotten to read some great stories and learned about the culture of many cities I haven't been to and likely won't get to visit, so that's why I start these threads.
If I had to come up with a list of the most-dangerous cities in America, it'd be something like this:
1.) Detroit, Pontiac, Saginaw, & Flint, Mi
2.) Gary, Indianapolis, & East Chicago, In
3.) Camden, Patterson, Newark, Trenton, & East Orange, NJ
4.) Chicago, Rockford, & East St. Louis, Il
5.) Memphis & Nashville, Tn
6.) Baltimore, Md
7.) St. Louis, & Kansas City, Mo
8.) New Orleans, La
9.) Atlanta, Ga
10.) Birmingham, Mobile, & Prichard, Al
11.) Milwaukee, Wi
12.) Philadelphia, & Chester, Pa
13.) Oakland, Stockton, Fresno, & Richmond, Ca
14.) Jackson, Ms
15.) Little Rock, Pine Bluff, & West Memphis, Ar
16.) Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, Akron, Columbus, & Youngstown, Oh
17.) Houston, & Dallas, Tx
18.) Wilmington, De
19.) Oklahoma City, & Tulsa Ok
20.) Bridgeport, & New Haven, Ct
21.) Buffalo, Brooklyn, & Newburgh, NY
22.) Albuquerque, NM
23.) Omaha, Ne
24.) Topeka & Wichita, Ks
25.) Phoenix & Tucson, Az
So, what do some of you on here say is the most-ghetto city in America ? Is it where you live now or are originally from? I live in Arizona, on the outskirts of Phoenix, and there's certainly crime here, but I've tried to keep my ass out of trouble for many years now, so I don't have many good stories to share.
However, I'd like to hear about the place(s) y'all think are the worst of the worst.
> Pic related: A Time Magazine cover featuring the city that almost everyone agrees is fucked-up, and truly dangerous.
I started this thread yesterday morning and there were some good posts, including an African guy in Ghana who was trash-talking the black people in America a bunch. Here is the the saved archive of the thread, in case some of you would like to check it out: http://4archive.org/b/thread/596574671
Also, there was a guy from the Atlanta area who was saying that Atlanta needs to be lower on the list (as in, it's worse than being listed at # 16, where it was on the list I posted yesterday) and was describing what it's like where is currently going to college, which is Georgia State University, and he was making it sound like a truly awful place. Someone also posted in a recent thread and said that Baltimore is also one of the most-dangerous places in America.
Is there anyone from/who lives in Atlanta or Baltimore on here this morning? If so, care to share some of your experiences/opinions on what it's like there?

Guy posting about Atlanta:
OP you should really reconsider your ranking of Atlanta Georgia on your list. If you wanna talk about one of the shadiest most unsacred places to live right here is your place. I live in downtown Atlanta and the place is overrun with homeless people. I mean there is enough of them to start a fucking army. They are all lazy fucking bums that make no efforts to better themselves either. Probably atleast 3 times on a normal day I am heckled by homeless people for food or money and they are crazy rude about it. They will watch you walk into a resturant or bank and then smoother you when you come out. "Hey man give me some pizza" "hey man I just saw you go into the bank I know you have some money" it's never hey man can you please spare some change or food. It's just belligerent give me what you have. And when you refuse they get pissed as fuck and keep asking you or start screaming in public about how much of an asshole you are. I once saw a man get shot on my campus. Yes a college canpus. On my college campus a homeless man got shot right outside of the fucking police station in mid swing of trying to stab a police officer. There are constant emails going around telling students to be inside at a certain time of the night and to always be in pairs during the day because girls litterally get abducted and are never seen again all the fucking time around here.
My apartment is rampant with nigger and I mean just completely infested with the nasty fuckkers. They don't live here and they come inside and crash parties and ripe the lights and exit signs out of the ceilings in the hallways. We once found about 5 niggers living on our rooftop. I know one guy who lives here who had somebody knock on his door hold him at gun point and rob his ass in the middle of the fucking day. I know another guy who had somebody (probably a nigger) trip the sprinkler system in the hallway outside his apartment and flooded his entire room. All of his shit was ruined.
#16 is a bit broad. the majority of Ohios big 3 are actually quite nice. Grew up in Cleveland and just like most major cities, a ring around its' core downtown area is shitty but you move further out it's pretty good.
Guy posting about Atlanta again:
The only thing the guy who got his apartment flooded did was work three jobs and sleep. That guy didn't even have time to make enimies. So what happens? Some dumb nigger thought it was funny to tottaly ruin his life one night. The same thing could happen to me. I am in constant fear of some nigger tripping my fire system from the hallway now. Oh amd I forgot to mention that the niggers like to come up in my apartment complex and trip the fire alarm and 4 in the morning alllllllllll the time bro. Like holy shit atleast once every 2 weeks I have to get out of bed during the middle of the night because a massive alarm is blaring because a nigger pulled the fire alarm because it was funny.
My apartment complex started getting fined by the state because the fire department has had to come here so many times on false fire accusations.
I once saw 4 niggers beat the shit out of a whote girl in my apartment complex downstairs and had to get in the middle of it to stop them. I almost got my ass kicked myself but I started screaming that I'm calling the fucking cops and they all scattered like roaches.
Got fucking dammit I had this city so much holy fucking shit.
I just want some god damn peace and quite at might instead of drunken niggers flopping doen the stairwell outsode my room at night. And I canmt even yell at them because they'll just come back another night and trip my sprinkler system. My apartment complex now has full time security day and night in it and it doesnt do a fucking thing.
I saw a nigger rolling a blunt in the elevator i was in not even two weeks ago and he was in a skee mask. What the fuck am I supposed to do about that shit? Huh? How do I stop it?
I leave thats how.
It's to far gone. Atlanta is to far gone Op fuck atlanta
> Another response by the guy from Atlanta:
I wish I could stick around and answer all those questions OP but I have class in a little.
I got to georgia state university.
My family is from Deteroit. #1 on your list...
And I don't carry a weapon because I'm on a school campus.
As for the women every single one of the things listed happens to them from what I hear. It just depends.
There is video footage from a building of one girl from our school getting thrown into a white van in the middle of the might while she was out jogging. That was 2 months ago. They still havn't found her.
> And another guy's post about Atlanta:
I was once sitting in a resturant in downtown atlanta and a nigger ran up to my table grabbed my phone and ran out of the resturant never to be seen agian. I wasn't racist till I moved to atlanta. I mean I get I shouldn't have had my phone out at the table but what am I supposed to do? Live in constant fear in public places of somebody taking my stuff? Yes. Unfortunately yea is the answer to that. And you know why? Because of the niggers. Atlanta is broken man.
> Also, I' was watching The First 48 on A&E last night and one of the cases was in Atlanta.
Seriously, is Atlanta really that bad?
I have not been to many places around the country, and I've only lived in Arizona (for most of my life) and the Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida, area (for about 5 years), so most of my information about these cities comes from watching TV/the news and reading online, talking to people at work (I work in a casino and meet people from many places from around the country), and having started several of these threads on here over the past few months.
And as for lumping several cities together, I just did that because they were in the same state and it was convenient to list them in that manner.
As for Cleveland, though, while parts of the city are surely nice, I'm of the impression that the bad parts are absolutely terrible, like, comparable to the ghettos of Detroit. And from what people have mentioned on here in previous threads, the east side of Cleveland is no fucking joke. Have you been there? And if so, what are your thoughts on the area?
Also, have you been to Youngstown? And if so, as some people have claimed, is it the hardest/most-ghetto city in Ohio?
Btw, after this, I will post a story from an experience in Cleveland that someone shared in a thread from a few months ago.
Since you referred to Ohio, so here's the story that was posted about an experience in Cleveland, Ohio.
>>go to see a concert in cleveland
>>never been to cleveland should be fun
>>get together with clan of friend and load up in a big ass navigator
>>all skater bros etc.
>>get into town a day early to see the city fuck off skate etc.

And here's s story that was recently shared in a previous thread by a guy in Alabama:
More like pic related :)
>At home while roommates are at work.
>Don't own car so it looks like no one is home.
>Hear glass break from side door directly across from my room.
>Grab shotty off the wall and swing my door open, leveling shotgun as an arm has gone through window on door.
>Fire off a round into door and watch hand explode and arm disappear out the door.
>Look out front window to see guy running through next door neighbor's yard and into woods.
>First time ever shooting someone and adrenaline is wearing off, look back in kitchen were fingers are and throw up.
Got my roommate to come home from work early and called the cops. Guy must have toughed it out or bled out at someone's house, cause he never showed up at a hospital.
We changed the doors the next day to steel doors with double locks (have to use key inside to lock and unlock the doors so you cant break a window and unlock the door. Bars on all windows now. And this is just inside the house, fuck the shit I deal with out and about just going to the damn gas station to buy cigarettes.
> and a follow-up post by same guy:
I'm the guy that lives in Hueytown, same dude.
The police were actually pretty chill about it, like I said, white dude shooting a black dude breaking in. For once cop racism works for me lol. But no, they couldn't do fingerprints on them, and aren't gonna waste the money on DNA testing for "petty" crime. Dude's now missing a hand, he ain't gonna be robbing shit now if he is still alive somewhere.
Remington 887 12 gauge 4+1 loaded. I don't know the price, friend got it at one the gun shows at the BJCC as a Christmas present, but they retail at 550-600. It's a damn good shotgun to me. Same friend has a .40 1911(Predator, I think) that I'm in love with but can't find one for less that $400.
Which cities? Where are you from? And have you been to America before? Also, do you not realize that many of our biggest cities have really rough ghettos with large numbers of violent criminals that roam around certain areas?
> Pic related: Something representing Detroit, Michigan.
> Pic related: How the young people in Detroit say hi to the Google Maps van.
A walking view of Detroit.
A house in Detroit.
And something not so ghetto, but, actually, pretty damn great, the Joe Louis Fist in Detroit, Mi.
i've never been to the states.but i was hoping to visit chicago, new orleans milwaukee, phili, houston and texas, oklahoma and brooklyn and queens NY,among other cities that they're not on this list.(im from a country with rarely no ghettos, should i reconsider?)
And in case you were possibly thinking about visiting Indiana, I would highly suggest staying the fuck away from the city of Gary.
Here's a screencap of a greentext story that someone posted about driving through Gary, Indiana, on the way to Chicago to pick up someone from the aiport and having cars pull out of a side road and block the street he was driving down and trying to ambush him while pointing a shotgun at him.
> Pic related: The screencap of the greentext story I just described
It's not like you are guaranteed to be a victim of a crime if you visit these cities; but there are definitely some really dangerous parts of each of the cities on the list I complied in the OP.
And there are some cities where you need to stay away and be cautious at all times, particularly, any time you an in an area or around people where you start to feel uncomfortable or as though you may be unsafe.
Some of those cities would be:
- Gary, Indiana
- Flint, Michigan
- Detroit, Michigan
- Memphis, Tennessee
- New Orleans, Louisiana
- Miami, Florida
- St. Louis, Missouri
- Cleveland, Ohio
- Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Baltimore, Maryland
- Richmond, Virginia
- Oakland, California
- Las Vegas, Nevada
And there are certainly other cities, but those are some of the places that come to mind when I think of having some really rough/dangerous areas in cities that you might visit, but that you would really want to stay out of the bad parts of, by all means.
Btw, where are you from? And how long are you hoping to come to America for?
Why is Detroit advertising the availability of outsourcing to Detroit IN Detroit? Am I the only one who sees a flaw in that line of thinking? Or am I completely mistaken and this is just how outsourcing works?
Also, fuck Detroit.
i'm from greece,i was hoping to stay as long as the visa last (i think its for about 2 months) so i can make a decent roadtrip.but this trip is too expensive,(i believe i need about 10k maybe a little less),that's why i dont see it happen very soon,unfortunately..
And while these cities are less-likely to be desirable places to visit, I would also have to mention that you are not far from serious danger in the following places:
- Birmingham, Alabama
- Jackson, Mississippi
- East St. Louis, Illinois (which is just across some river form St. Louis, Missouri)
- Louisville, Kentucky
- Albuquerque, New Mexico (although, there is some spectacular scenery here, so it is a desirable place to visit for some)
- San Francisco, California (another place that people like to visit, but that has some rough areas, lots of homeless, and serious dangers)
Those are just a few other cities that came to mind while thinking of plarvaceces that you need to be cautious while visiting.
I assume they would advertise that for/to the many people who are only in town visiting/staying for a short time in Detroit, but have businesses elsewhere.
Btw, are you from/in Detroit? If so, what's your opinion of the city? And have you been to Flint? If so, which city is worse?
> Pic related: Another picture to show that Detroit is not all bad/ghetto.
man,i just want to drive through the death valley,i love the desert scenery
I understand why you would want to visit the U.S., there are many awesome places here. And I'm not trying to scare you from making your trip to visit America; I'm just trying to inform you that there are lots of ghettos, in literally every major city in the country, and that you need to be aware of your surroundings and realize that you need to be careful where you go and who you are around and make sure that you keep yourself, and any travel-mates, safe at all times while you are here.
> Pic related: A picture from my hometown of Chandler, Arizona.
Born and raised in Flint mi, it fucking blew cocks. Such a terrible depressing city.
Detroit is worse than flint, but not by much. They are both hell.
Damn, all those capital cities
Is this what the american government does, dump all the niggers and beaners in them so they have 'equal opportunity' yet most of them are incapable of normality
Detroit is so bad it's taking down the entire county. The niggers there r just like real jungle monkeys. There is no respect for no one and no property.
The only chance Detroit has is all the Mexicans and Arabs putting there money into it. Oh and a white mayor. And a good one at that.
Detroit statistics say that 7 out of 10 murders will remain unsolved, that's basically a license to kill. It would be really interesting going out there and hunt for niggers with a silenced piece. Thoughts?
Grew up 50 miles north of flint. Life was boring but good. Ahhhhh, Bay City.
Think about it. Detroit is so bad it'd swallowed up entire cities within it that u don't even hear bout anymore.
Like centerline, hazel park, hamtrammic, ecorse, rouge park, and there is a big one I'm forgetting.
>ripe the lights and exit signs out of the ceilings in the hallways
lol, I could just see them on that sign swinging on on it like a monkey trying to get it off
>girls litterally get abducted and are never seen again all the fucking time around here.
This sounds like mexicans
> and having started several of these threads on here over the past few months.
I've seen these threads pop up occasionally over the years. Is that guy you?
Shame they don't happen more often
From Detroit, is it as shitty as people say? Yes/no, There are your safe neighborhoods and bad ones like any city. Most places you can drive through during the day....most. Anywhere that's worth visiting in the D isn't so terrible, go two blocks away and you can find yourself mugged or shot. I have many stories of this town if you're interested. I was also an over the road delivery driver and can attest to many towns from Detroit down to St.Louis, MO. Gary ain't shit in comparison, Chicago's the only thing close. I felt downright safe in most "ghetto" towns I saw, as they're generally cleaner and nicer than Detroit. BTW, 8 mile isn't so bad, but it is if you're just getting off of Woodwarde Ave and go into the suburbs around there.
First and foremost, is that your girlfriend's ass? And if so, will you post some more pictures of it? Please. That motherfucker is fat and sexy!
As for putting Detroit, Flint, Pontiac and Saginaw, I just did that because they are in the same state. And I did not even have Pontiac and Saginaw on the list originally, but I added them after several people posted in previous threads and mentioned that both cities have some really fucked-up areas. And while I would not think that many cities in Michigan, or even in the country, can compare with Detroit and Flint when it comes to crime and violence and danger, some people have suggested that Pontiac and Saginaw are no joke and there are some seriously-violent parts and people in them.
And I'm trying to ask this to both of you: Which is worse in the worst parts of the city: Detroit or Flint? And do the criminals/gangs in each city get along with each other? Or do they consider the other city/people there a rival?
Also, do you think that Detroit's ghettos/bad areas are worse than the ghettos/worst areas in Chicago?
> Pic related: A newspaper clipping about some African Lions that were found abandoned in the basement of a Detroit drug dealer.
I have been starting them for about 7-8 months now, and have probably started about 30-40 of them (many of them would get little to no interest/replies, so they would 404 after a few minutes), but I usually use a picture in the OP of a vandalized police car to start the thread.
> Pic related: The picture I usually use when starting this thread.
Worst spots r anything off of I 75. 8 mile is a good drive, cause its the border. Filled with strip clubs and a new home dept. 7 mile and 6 mile r always an interesting drive. Gotta lock them doors. Same with rosa parks and mlk blvd
St. Louis is pretty dangerous, but only in spots. East St. Louis, IL though.... holy fuck, I got lost around there once, and I was scared for my life. It was like being placed into Boyz in the Hood.
I agree with this statement. Lock them doors off of 75 up to 8 mile, I'd say. Anything after that is just Hazel park/mad heights and that isn't bad at all, just very dumb people. You don't call it Hazeltucky without a reason, you know?
Please answer question about this ass and if you have more pictures of it to share with us?
Are you just talking shit? Or are Detroit and Flint really that much worse?
Are you from/do you live in Detroit now? If so, do you think it's as hardcore/gangster as most people say it is?
Fuck yeah, I'd like to read some stories about these cities! However, while I listed Detroit in the #1 spot on my list, I find it hard to believe that Gary is not deserving of being compared to Detroit. People have described Gary, as well as East St. Louis and Camden, as looking like war zones where it is unsettling to be at even in the day time. Many people also mention how Gary (and East St. Louis and Camden, again) is a place where you are literally at risk of being robbed/assaulted/carjacked/killed at all times, particularly, if you are from out of town, i.e. white.
> Pic related: Another picture of the Joe Louis Fist statue, because I am a passionate Boxing fan!
You fags are just mad that Houston, Texas is the #1 city in America now. Fuck you NY, fuck you LA and fuck you Miami. Houston is where it's at. Sure, we have niggers here and there, but not as many as the other 3 cities I just mentioned. Oh, what? You wanna pull job growth out of your ass? Well, guess what? Houston is #1 in that regard as well. We really do have it all here.
Would you say that East St. Louis is significantly more fucked-up/dangerous than even the worst parts of St. Louis? Until starting these threads, I had no idea that ESL was so fucking rough and gangster, but after starting and reading through several of these threads, it seems as though it's legitimately as ghetto and scary as any city in America.
Have you been to Gary? Detroit? Flint? Milwaukee? Cleveland? Youngstown? Chicago? If so, is East St. Louis as bad as/worse than these places?
> Pic related: A picture of East St. Louis.
And here are the comments used to describe the image:
>A thin line separates civilization and barbarism... just beyond the horizon rests 98% black East St. Louis.
It also mentioned how there was a wild brawl at the DES Office in East St. Louis while people were waiting in line to get their food stamps refilled/approved.
I spent a lost of time in St.Louis and I can tell you now, I'd rather sleep in my unlocked car there than in a locked house in Detroit. Dude, people just set fires to entire blocks of houses here. You can get away with anything in Detroit as long as you run before the wake of what you did reaches the gangs. Cops out here are useless and won't show up until it's an hour too late anyways, unless they're in a gang's pocket, which is most likely. Plus, white hipsters started moving in heavy because of Wayne State and the cheap cost of living and all they've done is increase the hard drug problem. You want some stories? I'll get some greentext going for you. Gimme a moment.
Speaking of Houston, Texas, here's a post from a guy from Houston who contributed this in a thread from 2 days ago:
high liberal population+high nigger population= crime haven.
I used to live in Dallas and I never felt threatened unless I went to the south down town area aka nigsville. The rest of the city was nice and clean, and same with the suburb cities, overall, great place to live.
A year ago I moved to Houston. There is not only a very large liberal population here, but a gigantic nigger population, most being refugees or kids of refugees from new orleans back in 2005 that just never left. Since day one here I've had to carry my pistol to bring me a feeling of safety, Ive had 3 attempted robberies on me, 1 attempted carjacking, and 1 break in in the past year here. ALL prevented by me drawing my weapon on the would be assailant. In all 5 cases, it took the police over an hour to respond.
The city itself is a giant ghetto, streets are crumbling and not receiving repairs, the mayor is more concerned with shaming and trying to arrest anti- gay preachers than doing anything about the crime in her city. There is no beauty here anymore. EVERY SINGLE GAS STATION has plexiglass cages for their employees.
bottom line, niggers and liberals are the bane of peace, prosperity and beauty.
And a follow-up post by the guy form Houston:
thats a lot of questions lol, I'll try to answer as much as I can.
First off, Dallas is huge, its not just the city itself, but the entire DFW area is considered to be 1 giant city, most of the time when someone says dallas, it can be anywhere in the almost 11,000 square miles. in all that room, with all that population, crime is bound to happen, and a wide variety of crime, but the heavy crime is isolated to a very few areas like oakcliff.
I've had to draw and point 4 times, 1 of the attempted robberies i pulled up my shirt and asked the guy if he was sure and he ran off. They run off every time, It's not about being violent for them, its about surviving. the 3 robberies were all at gas stations. the break in was some crack head probably looking to steal stuff to pawn, i heard the window break on my door, grabbed my gun and ran into the living room, he saw the gun and ran off. The car jacking was at about 2am, just thought he was a beggar until he drew a knife and started banging on the door screaming gimme your car.
police response here takes about 1 hour for non emergencies, the break in took about 40 mins, and they came in guns drawn lol.
Ive been to boston and some surrounding cities up to new hamster, LA and san francisco,Austin, and louisville KY, in the past 5 years, none are anywhere as bad as houston. I honestly hate this place.
oh, last 4th of july I came home and a dead body was in my front yard... that was fun.
And another follow-up post by the guy form Houston (with this picture attached):
When I got home the police already had the yard taped off with a sheet over it. A detective questioned for a few mins and I gave them my footage from my security cams even though they didnt see anything. The guy was just dead right off the sidewalk, cops wouldn't tell me the cause of death.
I carry a Bersa 9MM, compact and light weight without being too small. Don't need a CHL to carry in my car but I need it to carry it around with me.
> Are you sure about your assertion of Houston being such a great place to live?
Nah, that's really all slander, and bad slander.
I've lived here my entire life and have experienced any of that, and I live in the inner fucking loop, not greater Houston, not the surrounding areas, but actually inside the fucking loop, the inner city.
I've never felt the need to own a gun, I've never been mugged despite loving to go out late at night, on foot.
I've never seen a dead body up in real life, except my father's but he died of natural causes in our home.
The only thing that I would say is bad in this city is the amount of people that drive like idiots and the fucking potholes. Other than that, Houston is very clean and the only reason why anyone would make the argument that crime is high is to slander the city, BUT in a city of 7 million people, do you really expect crime to be on par with a city that has a population of under 100,000?
Fuck yeah, it's be great to read some stories about Detroit and St. Louis! Especially, if you have spent considerable time in both cities and can give a thorough comparison between the two cities.
Also, have you been to Flint, Gary, Cleveland, Milwaukee, or East St. Louis? If so, how do they compare to Detroit?
> Pic related: A view of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri, from East St. Louis, Illinois.
I live in Calgary, Alberta. Still North America, but the safer (if colder) part of it.
We're a fairly rich city, but everywhere has their shitholes. In Calgary, there are two places infamous for being shit places to be. Forest Lawn, and Temple. I once took the wrong bus and ended up on an hour long circle route that went into, out of, and then back into it. Basically went from having a view of downtown with the fairly iconic Calgary skyline to one of the most ghetto places I'd ever been in. And I used to live in ghetto-ass St Catherines, so this was pretty shit.
Pretty sure some kid walked onto the bus with a pot plant and not a single person even blinked.
A girl I knew went to the Forest Lawn junior high and witnessed a stabbing in the hallway, and a shooting nearby.
Last year on New Years or some shit some sheriffs son stabbed like, 7 people, and 4 people died on New years this year in a party that was like, 2 doors down from where my sister was staying.
Oh, and apparently some kids I went to high school with tried to rob a bank recently.
This, of course, is in addition to some nigger I went to school with joining ISIS in June of 2014. He was falsely pronounced dead and subsequently was interviewed by Vice.com when he popped up. Really wish he had been killed.
Overall though, Calgary is a nice city as long as you stay out of Forest Lawn. Used to be a big biker presence there. Probably still is, even though you can only ride a motorcycle for 4 months of the year if you're lucky.
Do you not believe the stories the guy posted that I just copied/pasted? Do you think he was lying? Or exaggerating? Or do you live in a wealthy area of Houston? Because I have no doubt that Houston has some really rough ghettos, especially, with so many refugees from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina being relocated there, with there being so many people there, and with it being so close to Mexico.
Are you really trying to convince us that Houston is not one of the more-ghetto/gangster cities in America? Plus, I've seen Houston and Dallas featured on the First 48 many times, which pretty much gives instant credibility of a city being a rough, violent place. Honestly, after seeing them featured on The First 48 so many times is how I came to realize that Miami and Memphis were such ghetto/violent cities.
Fuck I hate this copy pasta. Please move Camden off the nj list. It's way too fucking far away from those cities
And now this is bad thread

>Cable tech asks me to wait incase he needs a witness
>MFW they had the decency to wait until we pulled away to fire on the house
>MFW I have no face
From the suburbs of Saint Louis. Nothing really happens out here. From the few times I've been downtown I haven't experienced any shit. The one time I drove to East stl to a strip club didn't experience anything. Guess I got lucky.
>no one lies on the internet
I mean if you want, I can take a few pictures of the neighborhood that I live in and you make your own assessment. I don't live in a wealthy part of town, as the property value here is between $120k-$200k.
Sure, there are some rough parts of Houston, and I won't deny that, but calling it a big ghetto? Really? I've never looked at my city and have called it a big ghetto.
He most definitely was lying and over exaggerating.
Perhaps in the 90s and early 2000s Houston was considered "ghetto" but it's definitely been a nice place for the past 10 or so years.
I'm serious about those pictures, as I love to disprove fags that lie online to make themselves seem cool.
>the mayor is more concerned with shaming and trying to arrest anti- gay preachers than doing anything about the crime in her city.
Fucking pro gays are worse than the fucking gays themselves
I've only been to Chicago, and I'm certainly no expert on it, and as someone visiting, I was only in the "touristy" parts.
The thing about E St. Louis is that is basically a collection of welfare dependent blacks with no ambition living in a small town that looks like something out of Fallout. I mean, a lot of the infrastructure has been abandoned for so long, they literally have fields of vegetation growing in a wasteland of cement and brick. There is nothing there to do but commit crime.
And while St. Louis itself is pretty violent, there has been a long debate about how it's crime statistics are calculated, and that it might be not anyway near as violent as it seems. Of course, St. Louis also has an issue with decay. Parts of the city looks like it was hit with airstrikes.
I live in the Los Angeles area and its not really shitty anymore. Sure there a lot of bums especially concentrated in some areas very heavily like skid row, but I've walked through there at 1-2am at night before with one of my white friend and I'm Asian. We weren't really bothered although there were just about 2-300 niggers on one street basically in the middle of the night.
Here in Montreal Whites are slowly becoming a minority.
Lots of Maghrebis and Haitians.
On topic I can say it's pretty safe here and happy about it. Most hobos downtown have a funny way of asking for money (i.e. holding sign that says "I need change just like Obama").
However, I'm pretty sure Montreal is the Al-Quaeda recruitment center in North America.
Midtown. Dude your as good as dead. Haven't u been paying attention. Down town during the day is the onlybsafe place.
What school. Uof d jusuit? Off of 5 mile or 6 mile
The dental school?
Or Wayne. The one on Cass cooridore, the worst spot in detroit?
downtown san diego here... downtown is:
>has lots of drug dealing
someone got shot down the street 3 months ago
>bus T boned a car a few days ago outside
>most concentrated homeless ive ever seen
>got a knife pulled on me by skitzo
still feel like its safe down here.
literally all medium-large cities have shit areas dotted throughout.. ive never been to detroit but that seems pretty unreal for a "known" city... im from the midwest.
Chicago has the highest murder rate. Although most of it clustered in small areas.
Cleveland has the most rape. St. Louis has the most burglaries.
Detroit is probably the overall most dangerous city.
...cause even if it was dangerous here who cares.
East St. Louis is pretty fucked up. My old roomate grew up there and he said the dumbest thing he ever saw was a guy walking down the street drinking a 40oz when another guy came up to him, said you better give me that 40, dude drinking it was like no fuck that so the other guys just pulled out a gun and shot him in the head to steal his 40oz.
I grew up in Toledo, OH which is an hour south of Detroit and in some ways worse than the motor city. It's the child prostitution hub of America and I would be on the streets of Saginaw or Flint any night instead of Toledo.
However, Detroit is it's own animal. Highland park is a straight up war zone, like people think they have seen shit in LA or Chicago but LA and Chicago actually have cops.
The company I work for had to close the Detroit market because our cars were getting jacked in broad daylight with a brick through the window. My boss tried to get a police report for insurance and couldn't find the police department cause they simply don't have one. Eventually got a highway patrol car out there.
Not gonna lie, these are some pretty fucked-up stories. Do you guys think the gangs/criminals/thugs in Canada are on the same level of violence as the hardened thugs in America?
And what is the deal with there being so many Muslims there? Are they literally working on taking over the country? Are they going there because it's easy to move there? Or because they are trying to take over the country? Or are they possibly going there because it's close to the U.S. and they are plotting to do bad things to America? I mean that seriously.
I know that San Diego has some really nice parts and some great beach neighborhoods, but I've also been told that there are some seriously-violent gangs there and that lots of Mexicans from Mexico have been making there way these lately. Do you not think there are some hardcore gangsters/criminals in San Diego?
Are you really saying that you were told this actually happened as you described it? Or was your friend joking around with you? Is ESL the worst/scariest place you've been to? And is that where you live/live near?
I used to have Miami, Jacksonville and Orlando on the list in the OP, but I've edited it several times and I forgot to add them back to it. Assuming you are from/live in/near Orlando, have you been to Jacksonville or Miami? And have you heard of or been to Opa-locka? If so, what is the worst city out of those places? And do you have any stories about scary/violent stuff that has happened in Orlando? Also, have you been to the Tampa/St. Petersburg area?
You really think that Toledo is scarier/more fucked-up than Flint? Because, by pretty much all accounts, it seems as though Flint is either close to as bad as Detroit or even a little worse (which seems somewhat hard to believe). And, assuming that you've been to Cleveland, are the bad parts of Toledo as bad as/worse than the bad parts of east Cleveland? And what about Youngstown?
And is Detroit as hardcore, violent, crime-ridden and scary as any city in America, in your estimation?
there are dangerous parts anywhere.
contrary to popular belief, downtown areas are pretty safe in most major (or even medium) US cities.. there are guys selling drugs and arguing with each other the next block over. i can hear them.. but i gaurantee i can walk by and nobody will even pay attention.
downtown is safest most places
I'm a 407 cat and have lived in all those FL places, live in Orlando now. Do a search of Orlando rape, three nights ago a homeless guy raped a twenty something. Honestly, the O is not that bad tho. the amusement parks bring so much security and a lot of shootings are drunk hillbillies. jax and miami are way bigger and miami is by far the roughest area
I live near saginaw and flint, and they're complete shitholes. After GM moved out everything went down hill real quick. I remember playing a few football games in both cities in high school and we had to have police escorts into the stadium at 5 in the afternoon. Half the houses around the city are boarded up it seems like. Its just not the place you want to walk/drive around alone, especially if you're white.
Every major city across the United states is crime ridden. It's that simple and if you argue which city is more dangerous than another like a dick measuring contest then you're just an ignorant sad sack of shit.
Spent a lot of time in Cleveland and the east side is very rough. by far the worst condition of streets in the us due to thick precipitation and little tax money. However, Cleveland actually does have some funds to patrol and answer calls. The real urban parts of Detroit literally don't have cop cars that can come out to a crime. I know that's hard to fathom in America but they will send out paramedics and if they must a highway patrol man to take a report on a murder. I know two people that were shot in Detroit and plenty of horror stories. I think I've been around enouygh to be objective about it (lived in TX and FL too), but just my opinion.
I might be biased about Toledo since I grew up there and saw so many fucked up things. Used to be into a lot of coke and once had a gun pointed at me (it was actually pointed at dude next to me). first chance i got my friend and i ducked out the back and i'll never forget how my legs were shaking so bad i could barely walk. real kicker is i was back there buying drugs two weeks later and that same year a teen was shot in the stomch and killed over heroin. Toledo does have some nice parts tho. All I know is if you spend enough time on monroe or lagrange st you will see all the bad shit a bigger city has to offer concentrated into a smaller downtown
Have you lived in any of these areas
You must not have been good at reading comprehension as a kid. Clearly some cities are worse than others, I never said that. What I was getting at is if you brag about it you're a fucking faggot.
no you dont cause you said argueing about what city is more dangerous is a dick measuring contest.
my dick isnt from either of those cities but detroit is clearly 100x more dangerous than most places.
No fucking shit. Have you never heard people argue about which city is more fucked up? Clearly detroit takes the cake all but I've heard many people in my life especially living in DC now that argue about it. It's retarded.
Definitely Camden, watched a nignog fucking beat in a some little kids head and then he started fucking up my jeep. I got the fuck outta there and it still amazes me that it happened in broad daylight in front of a busy bodega.
i work at homeless shelters in suburbia and my job is a piece of cake compared to these places. even when it's all black guys i rarely have any problems, it's pretty rare that I have to stop people from forking each other or some shit
the mothers with kids are actually worse. weve had a place get burned down by a woman who was pissed we kicked her out (she threatened to burn it down before we kicked her out). or if a toddler is crying a mother will go into her room and beat her with a belt and then come out with a belt acting all proud of herself while the kid's still crying
Your list is retarded. St. Louis and KC are at opposite ends of the state. Indy is 180 miles from Gary/East Chicago. Same Memphis and Nashville. Plus Gary, St. Louis, and Memphis are much more dangerous than Indy, Kc, and Nashville.
it is truly unfortunate how poverty, dwindling infrastructure, lack of education, etc. in a given area can lead to so much troubles for a even greater area and for what really?...a pissing contest between warring factions of wealth and/or ideologies. (not to mention meanwhile the ones who are surviving have little time if any to really approach the various factors which continually contribute to these outcomes, so are more likely to take personal or community biased information.)
>Used to work at Campbell's soup in Camden, NJ
>Local black guy said his car broke down
>offered him ride because he's cool and got me weed previously
>drive into hell, thinking I have privileged white boy propaganda telling me its awful in the city
>cant be that bad
>mfw I pulled up to a stop light and four bandan wearing goons walk out of a house and theyre buddy in an escalade blocks the road
>all of them draw guns, i prepare for destruction
>Wally (the blackguy) yells at one of the guys and says "yo mama will beat your ass shawn"
>mfw they all leave in the escalade
> never again and how tha fuck i was litterally within the city limits for 5 min
I'm from St. Louis and all of that is pretty accurate. East St. Louis is a shithole in every sense of the word, but in a sad kind of way. There are areas of St. Louis that are so incredibly blighted that it's almost unrecognizable. However, there are also parts of St. Louis that are truly beautiful. Just amazing history there and it kills me to see the blight it's in
A city in the US has different areas with millions of people. For instance, there are hundreds of gang murders in chicago yearly, but they all happen within a few miles of nigger infested neighborhoods. It doesn't blend seamlessly with the rest of the city. If you were visiting downtown chicago (which you would as a tourist) you wouldn't take 1 wrong turn and end up in a nigger neighborhood. Same goes with almost every city on OP's list. Almost every "downtown" in the US is heavily protected and pretty low...it's the surrounding areas where niggers dwell that you have the problem.
Death Valley really is beautiful, but before you go, I have some tips. As I have driven my jeep and my parents' Mercedes through the desert on many occasions.
1. if your going between LA and Vegas, only take route 15. Errthing else will lead you miles and hours out into the desert.
2. If you're doing ghost town trips, get a full tank of gas before you leave the main highways. Some of the older roads still have stations but they have been abandoned for 40 years.
3. Be careful where you stop. Places like Death Valley junction and Yermo are ok during the day, but other places are miles from anyone except the sketchy locals who know trespassers a mile off.
4. Don't travel alone.
5. Make sure you have a reliable vehicle. I've been on drives out in the middle of nowhere and seen cars that broke down between a week and several years ago, just left on the side of the road. Or pushed off into the brush.
Also, some small towns have oddly high numbers of broken down, modern cars. So just be careful.
6. Know your route. It's extremely frustrating to drive for 35 minutes down an old shortcut road just to find out it's been washed out by a winter stream. Gps won't always track the loss of roads.
More to come...
Honestly this looks like a really great picture of Detroit and actually makes me want to go there... Except I never will because I know it's a desolate shithole where the only thing to do is get robbed.
Sorry for not replying sooner, but I was running an errand and just got back. I have only lived in Arizona (in a smaller town north of Phoenix and a mid-size city of about 100,000, for the most part; although, right now, I am currently living in the East valley about 5 miles from the Phoenix border and there are ghettos within 2-3 miles of the border) and in the Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida, area for about 5 years. So, my experiences are limited to these two areas. Honestly, I just like learning about other places and cultures; but I do have some sort of fascination with the criminal/ghetto culture, though.
Have you ever been to Arizona? If so, where? And what did you think of it?
I've seen Louisville featured on The First 48 many times, so I know that it has some dangerous crimes and fucked-up neighborhoods. However, it seems like it'd be a cool place to live with some nice scenery and some good fishing. However, after Louisville put a terrible ass-whoopin' on my Arizona Wildcats in the tournament during March Madness a few years ago (they won by like 38 points, if I recall correctly), I've decided I might dislike the city. ;)
Yes, I would like to read some stories about Marion, if you're down to post some. Have you been to the other major/ghetto cities in Ohio? Cleveland? Cincinnati? Dayton? Akron? Toledo? Youngstown? What about Detroit or Flint? Chicago? Gary? Milwaukee? And if so, how does Marion compare to these hardcore cities?
By pretty much all accounts, Camden is a fucked-up, violent, scary place; particularly, if you are form out of town/white. Someone posted a story about being violently jumped by 3 black guys while staying in Camden, I'll see if I can find the re-write I did of it, as it was a fucked-up story. And another guy posted a story about how he was at a concert and made a wrong turn after the concert was over and got attacked and dragged out of his car and was literally almost beaten to death, until a shop owner came out with a shotgun and saved him.
And here's a re-write I did of a story someone posted in a previous thread about getting beaten up in Camden, NJ.
Basically, the story went something like this:
> Mexican kid/guy, about 18, 6'2'' and 200 lbs, fairly muscular, goes to stay with grandmother in Camden
> been there for a few days, decides to walk to the store for grandmother, by himself
> apparently, a very bad idea
> walks inside store, big, older white guy clerk immediately says that he should not be there, that it's not safe for him
> Mexican kid/guy walks out of the store after making purchase and is encountered by 3 large, black males walking down the sidewalk
> one of the black guys says that one of them dropped their bag of dope and that they saw him pick it up and take it
> Mexican kid/guy says he is legitimately frightened, as the 3 black males are huge and don't appear to be fucking around
> Mexican kid/guy nervously says that he did not take their drugs and that he did not want any trouble
> the 3 black males decide that he deserves to get violently beaten up, so they immediately start to do so
> Mexican kid/guy says that the 3 black males all start punching him violently and he falls to the ground and is getting pummeled
> while on the ground, one of the black males starts grabbing his fingers and literally starts breaking them, he ends up with 3 fingers broken
> while this beating is happening, a cop car pulls up and blares his siren, the 3 black males start walking away, Mexican kid/guy feels like crying, because he is so happy
> cop pulls away without even getting out of his car
> apparently, in Camden, someone getting jumped by 3 guys was not important enough for the cop to get out of his car and check on the victim
> after that experience, the Mexican kid/guy stated that he did not go out in Camden again before moving back home
> Pic related: A rooftop view in Camden, New Jersey
The guy who originally posted the story that I posted here >>596777594 told it in a better fashion than I just did; but, I'm sure you get the gist of what happened.
As for Camden being a really shitty place, in the same thread that the guy shared the story about getting jumped, another person also posted, a white kid (around 16-17, iIrc), and told a story about having gotten lost after driving his parents car home from a concert and ending up in Camden. I don't recall the specifics, but I think he was at a stop sign/stoplight and just got ambushed by someone on the street who smashed through his side window and dragged him out of the car. Ultimately, he said that he ended up getting curbed-stomped and almost died, literally. He said that the only thing that saved his life was some foreign shop-owner running outside with a shotgun and screaming at the people trying to beat him to death. And this happened because he was a white kid driving a nice car through their neighborhood.
Has anyone on here this morning been to Camden and Philadelphia? What about Chester, Pa? If so, is Camden really significantly worse than even the worst parts of Philly and Chester? People have said that Camden looks like a war zone and that if you are from out of town/white and you go there, you are literally in danger of being assaulted/robbed/carjacked/killed at all times, especially, at night. And they have suggested that Camden is like the Detroit of the East Coast.
Is Camden really comparable to Detroit?
