So I've been seeing a few threads that are about songs that give you goosebumps. None of them have been really doing it for me though so I thought of this
>ITT: Anime OP/ED that gave you chills/goosebumps the first time you watched/listened to it
Always enjoyed the visuals coupled with the song was great.
The ending of GC really got me though with "Release My Soul"
I still need to finish Clannad. I watched up through the Fuko arc and for some reason just kinda quit. I'll listen to the after story op
That's a really good one. Never thought of that.
Not an OP, but I enjoy this song a lot as well. Heard the melody in a .swf on /f/ one time and came to enjoy the entire rather than just the humming
Really? I honestly didn't like that one. I loved the first season's op but this one just hasn't really stuck with me. Like it isn't bad, I just never really felt anything more for it.
First one gave me goosebumps. Didn't know this but the guys that did the first Toyko Ghoul op also did Psycho Pass' op which makes sense cause both are awesome.
at first i didnt like it either but the more i watch of root a the more i like it
also here is a song from the OST of root a that is super good
I've been getting pushed to watch this show lately by a friend of mine. Is it pretty good? When I was looking stuff up for it people seemed kinda meh about it.
I like this. I know I've heard of this show before but just can't remember what I've heard.
I'm not very picky, so obviously some people will tell you it's awful, others will say it's amazing. Personally I really enjoyed it and had a lot of feels throughout the show. I would recommend it depending on how patient or picky you are. I guess I would have to know your tastes to really give you a rec or not.
This gave me goosebumps. Lots of goosebumps. This is why I wanted to start this thread
Cowboy Bebop - Tank!
You don't need much in lyrics to be great.
>I know I've heard of this show before but just can't remember what I've heard.
It's a meh harem from the same source as clannad and air.
>I've been getting pushed to watch this show lately by a friend of mine. Is it pretty good? When I was looking stuff up for it people seemed kinda meh about it.
Spice and Wolf is a show you need patience for and you need to pay attention. It's not a mindless entertainment show for sure but if you really put in the effort it's so worth it. One of my personal favorites. Most of the drama revolves around economics and business deals, which is really refreshing plot. Defenitely would recommend
They really are all fantastic imo
This is just... beautiful. Nice pick
I've heard Gurren Lagann is pretty good, but I don't know if I'll watch it. Seems kind of silly which is something I guess I'm meh about.
I remember being a young lad and watching cowboy bebop on Adult Swim along with FMA. Good times even though I had no idea what the fuck was going on.
This show looks scary lol. I feel like I've heard good things about it, though. It seems interesting so I'll have to check it out.
Not gonna lie I liked Elfen Lied way more than I ever expected to. The first episode made me rage quit because of how hard it seemed like it was trying to be edgy. I decided I was gonna see it through and I'm glad I did because I enjoyed both the anime and the soundtrack a great deal. That music box that plays Lilium gives me goosebumps in a feely sort of way.
This song sounds lovely. Hows the show?
Do not falter, anon. I enjoy the song a lot as well.
How is this show? I've seen lots of bushy brow girl everywhere.
Isn't this the show with the girl that just vegges out on her bed? If so I've been interested in it.
Holy shit this whole show gave me goosebumps. I have the whole ost on my phone haha. Really like how they tied the music in especially with Von! I really enjoyed how great this show looked along with the music, and of course the story was pretty good too.
I'm trying to reply to everyone but this is difficult
Now let's go with something more lighthearted.
Paniponi Dash! - Yellow Vacation
Don't even try watching that one unless you're REALLY into anime.
Oh, you can watch it just fine for itself. The manga is just if you really, really need there to be more.
I've been meaning to watch Angel Beats for such a long time but just one of those things where I've never gotten around to it. Holy shit that ending is pretty. Reminds me of MN feels
Is it pretty good? What fucking show am I thinking of then..
Yeah sometimes I'll read the manga. I tried that one with Nisekoi and like 200 chapters later still no fucking plot development.
Haha I don't know come to think of it. I've never actually watched Evangelion. A lot of my friends were at one point and I just didn't for some reason. That's another show that's on the list. God I like this song, though. No lie
I don't know why but I giggled while I listened to this. It's so upbeat and lifting. Just kinda sitting here bobbing my head back and forth
I like this one a lot. The mixing of style was enjoyable.
oh my fuck my sides that's so horrible sounding
That's kind of what I've heard. Is it similar to Kill la Kill then? I don't know why but I really enjoyed like the first 2 episodes of KLK then my enjoyment just kind of fell off and I ended up dropping it at like the 4th episode. I suppose I just keep expecting a similar experience from GL and that's why I don't watch it, but I don't know it just doesn't sound super appealing.
I really like this. Like I enjoy the song a lot but the animation style is really alluring for some reason. This is probably the most interested I've been in a show based off its op in a while. Nice.
I'm really glad I thought of this thread. I need more music and shows to occupy my time so thanks /b/ros
> Reminds me of MN feels
fuck Mirai Nikki... Moreso fuck Yuki
>I like this one a lot. The mixing of style was enjoyable.
yeah it was more fitting to the series as a whole, and the switch from chilling to j-poppy was really neat
>oh my fuck my sides that's so horrible sounding
topkek, I found that on /f/ one day
u talkin shit about mah Yuki?!
/f/ is great sometimes.
I know man. I hate Yuki but hey I enjoyed the show a lot. Was like the second or third show I really sat down and watched.
I've heard a lot of good things about this show but just haven't gotten around to finishing it. Like I'm watching it still, just really loosely.
Should I continue the Monogatari series? I watched the first one and a few episodes into the second one and just kinda stopped. I've heard really good things about that show along with Toradora so I want to continue but eh, I dunno.
I'll have to check it out then.
I thought SAO was alright. I liked the first season, especially the music. People can hate the show all they want but fuck those songs man. So gud.
As for the second season it was okay I just thought it was composed of like 90% filler episodes. There were just a bunch of story arcs all over the place but oh well.
Maybe I'll have to try and finish that too, the more I go through this thread the more I realize I drop like 75% of shows for no real reason.
>know man. I hate Yuki but hey I enjoyed the show a lot. Was like the second or third show I really sat down and watched.
I watched the whole show in one night. Yuki ruined the show for me. However, I understand that without yuki being a little shit the show couldn't have been what it was so. Meh, I guess I was destined to not like the show.
Naru Taru - Nichiyoubi no Taiyou
Totally forgot that one. Biggest troll OP/10.
Too bad the series is pretty bad and cuts short halfway through. Don't bother at all, if you really want it, ->manga
All of the pleb tier hooty tunes you guys are shitposting is making my jimmies rustle
bitch im arriving for ya! (i don't like the c-word. c*me is gross)
Aldnoah-Zero ED 2: Aliez
FMA Brotherhood OP 1: Again
Madoka ED 2ish: Magia
Tales of Symphonia: Tethe'alla-Hen ED 2 Inori no Kanata
Higurashi/Kai ED: Taishou.a
Higurashi/Kai OP: Naraku No Hana
>Fuck, this is why I have this anime in my top 10
Gunslinger Girl Il Teatrino ED: Doll, Lia version
D. Gray Man OP 4: Gekidou
>Fuck, I miss this show so much
Bleah ED 5: Life
Bonus: inserts I like
Code Geass: Innocent days
Clannad After Story: Gensou
>If you listen to one song I post, make it this one
Excuse me while the real psycho bitch arrives
Clannad After Story. I cannot force myself to see that again
I don't know why I enjoyed this song so much
I watched it all in a day too haha. He is a little shit. I hate him for all the stupid shit he did. I really didn't like the ending either so thank god for the OVA. That thing saved the show for me.
Huh. This op seems really unique. I haven't really heard any that sound similar to it except for maybe FLCL's. I like it a lot.
Yeah yeah weeabo faggot
Post something then completely original statement guy.
I've heard mixed things about Aldnoah. Should I watch or nah?
Madoka is on the list
Code Geass is great.
Come to think of it a lot of the shounen's have a lot of good OP/EDs. It's gonna take me a bit to listen to all these doe
what was so sad about it? am I just evil?
Yeah, I know, man.
As I said, so fucking good...
It's super-meh. Haven't watched the second season; hear it's pretty bad. If you need any recommendations, just look at the 4x4 I made.
Reminds me, how sad is it compared to AnoHina? I had a few manly tears swell up at the admittedly stupid ending but yeah, they were there. I watched that show but have just never got around to Clannad
I'm at work, or else I would post the animal yokocho theme
HAHA anon you sure showed him!
Yeah, it sucked, but I saw it through to the end, same with Dragon Ball Z/GT. But this opening was a pleasant surprise, they got pretty bad after the first two seasons. Actually I guess the whole show got pretty bad after the first two seasons, third was alright tho.
I thought I was the only one who liked this song.
OP here, I honestly didn't really like Death Note as much as I anticipated. I think Code Geass did the same type of thing as Death Note but in a better way. The ending of Death Note just seemed so underwhelming how crappy the final "showdown" was. Like I expected there to be a huge mindgame going on and there just kinda wasn't. It was a pretty simple trick and eh. I just thought it was super anticlimactic.
I'm totally a Mexican who just doesn't do anything.
The background music reminded me of like Super Mario Sunshine or something. This is lovely.
tell me; Rena or Mion/Shion for waifu?
Great thread, bad thread picture. Shitoge is shit. Onodera best girl.
KLK and Gurren Lagann get compared to each other a lot only because they are so crazy, while i did enjoy KLK Gurren Lagann is far better. Try watching the first few episodes and i guarantee youll fall in love with the characters
good choice, mine as well.
a little young but i can appreciate.
Posting the single greatest anime song
OP here, this is also on my phone admittedly. I have a lot of Nano on there too. She's pretty great.
That Clannad song though... I don't even think I'll need to watch the show to feel sad.
Nice trips. Haven't heard this one before but it sounds nice. As I said before, I actually enjoy most of theopenings and Bleach is one of the shows I really didn't want to turn into a long ass show but sadly it was meant to be.
Nigga don't start with me.
One of my buddy's adores Chitoge. He isn't a weeb about it but if he has a waifu it's definitely her.
Also, I don't really know who I like best. I like all of them pretty equally.
I actually remember seeing this on AS when I was younger as well. I liked the woman a lot. Always was really curious what this show was even like. It looks nice and I enjoy the song a lot.
I will try my best to power through both of them despite any doubts I have
Sometimes /f/ is great.
Completely unrelated, like this song >>602226762
but does it bother anyone else when there's like people who try to speak english and just completely fail but everyone in the show either acts like they don't sound like they have downs or they did awesome.
I remember when Five from Zankyou was talking in English. I still joke about how she says "you're kidding me" with my friends.
Is it good? I don't think I've ever even heard of it before.
I'm not even gonna lie I listened to this fucking thing so many times after I watched it. I waited a really long time to watch it but when I finally did this shit was on repeat for probably 3 weeks. I'm sure I've listened to it like 4 or 500 times by now.
What even is this show. I've heard a lot about it and it's highly rated but I'm about as in the dark with it as I am with Durarara. Just don't know what the fuck it's about lol
Reminds me of Gorons
shigatsu wa kimi no uso
absolutely gorgeous anime and soundtrack
I found DRRRs plot straight up boring, both the first and the ongoing 2nd season are not as great
As for Gintama, well, you have to see for yourself. More of a gag anime, references other anime etc
Gintama is one of these shows that just lifts has episodes that make your mood go from committing seppku to full blown happiness.
Although they do have serious arcs in the show.
and serious mode
This is another one that's on the list for shows I have to watch. I should really make a definite list.
Engrish makes me laugh every time. What would the world be without it.
Took me a while to find it, and I know this is kinda random but I just remembered how much I loved this song from the stargazing scene in Bakemonogatari
Supercell/Ryo/Egoist is gr8 stuff.
I do remember hearing about that. Overall I've just heard it's good. Maybe I'll have to commit to that as well.
How is this show? I've been interested in watching this one as well but never done it.
I need to get into movies more. I tried one time which ended with me confused as to what just happened after I finished Graveyard of the Fireflies.
I was waiting for someone to post this. Just gonna leave this here.
I feel like I've heard these guys before. I like this.
Reminds me of how many good characters there were.
Unfortunately, I guess my childhood sucked. Plagued with Thomas the Tank Engine.
I hope every one of you bed-staining cunts get raped by a pack of dogs tomorrow.
i would watch more animas but it depresses me too easily even if the anime isn't even that sad. I'm not sure why.. i wish I could enjoy it
Thinking back, the fighting music in FMAB was really good and intense
get a load of this cunt, he like weeb music!
I'll have to check it out man
I know what you mean. If I really like a show I'll blow through it in a day or two and then have this pit inside me. Most recent occourence would be Code Geass R2. For whatever reason I waited a long time to watch the second season but when I finally sat down and started I didn't stop. Holy shit that second season is so much more intense.
Mah nigga. I was wondering if someone was gonna post that. That song was on repeat for a few weeks despite me not really liking the show. I tried really hard to finish it but could never really get past like episode 7.
The main thing I remember from it is "timoshee"
Reminds me of Wind Waker for some reason. I guess I never really thought about it but you're right.
I like this. Sounds kind of like Evangelion's imo.
oh my god what the fuck is this my sides are gone yet again.
It's Evangelion bike horn cover all over again.
Disregarding the weeb statement, your music is god fucking awful. And no you're not special or cool because you listen to music that's only purpose is to be edgy and to push the boundary of what can be considered "music".
That whole scene gave me goosebumps but the song during it was awesome and I made sure to remember it, sadly I just forgot the name. I think I'm gonna have to pick that show back up, it really didn't deserve to be dropped.
I think he's kidding, /b/ro.
Honestly I want to be scared of this song but I'm just laughing so hard.
Holy shit all the characters look like they're coked up it's great.
See, I can't even blitz through an anime if i wanted to. my shit imagination is too overactive, maybe i have ADD or something. And yes I know exactly what "pit" feeling you're referring to. It's like.. this whole vibrant universe full of characters has just manifested itself into your consciousness, and now it's all gone. Just.. gone, perhaps never to exist again. I don't like it. Perhaps more sad is that I'd rather it never exist in my mind at all than to experience it only for a brief amount of time.
Most anime movies are spin offs of shows or a feels trip. If you're looking for a few good ones I can recommend Garden of Words, Colorful, 5 Centimeters per Second, and Wolf Children.
>oh my god what the fuck is this
Industrial Noise, you fag-lord
> my sides are gone yet again.
thats the point, retard.
You're just plain fucking stupid. I just find abrasive electronic music fascinating. No one's trying to be "edgy", fucking weeb.
>Holy shit all the characters look like they're coked up it's great.
It's actually a very slow show. If you want coked up, go for nichijou, or for this.
Kodomo no Omocha - 19 O'Clock News
I have all their albums on vinyl
have fun collecting stupid figurines, and life size cunt-lips. fucking loser, kill yourself.
I've heard of all of those being really good besides Colorful, never heard of that one before. I'll try to check them out.
It sounds like some 4 year old hitting a bass drum while Gordon Ramsey yells at people for not cutting the meat properly.
One of my friends watched Nichijou and liked it a lot so that's on the list as well.
I'll have to look into these other two though
Yeah dude this sounds awesome. I like this a lot.
I know I've heard stuff about this show before but I've never really looked into it
>It sounds like some 4 year old hitting a bass drum while Gordon Ramsey yells at people for not cutting the meat properly.
Thats called art, you faggot.
anime is for entertaining little children. pls kill yuorself.
Lyrics? Wuts dat?
Haibane Remnei - Free Bird
>I know I've heard stuff about this show before but I've never really looked into it
It's a pure magical girl/romance anime, as innocent as they come. If you'd like that, it's great. If not, you won't ever get into it.
I'm not even gonna lie I really never liked this opening and the show kinda sucked too.
I will admit I like this song a lot more listening to it now. A lot more haha. I just didn't like how the show kinda of never solved its main story it seemed like. I feel like it's one of those shows that could've benefited from being a bit longer.
yeah yeah dank trollzor
My favorite part was when guitar guy was in the elevator and was like "yo, fucking guys"
Weird. Never heard of a show with no lyrics. I like this though.
Damn, I still gotta watch this myself
Steins;Gate - Hacking to the Gate
>Weird. Never heard of a show with no lyrics. I like this though.
It's a very calm anime in general. Life too fast? Everything to stressful and you just want to chill? Throw in some Haibane. Classic Iyashikei.
I'm pretty much through my good stuff by now. Backlog, backlog... too much anime.
maybe next time I'll have something new.
Have some Salva Nos before I leave. Not an OP or ED, but still...
Anime is Noir. I just don't like its OP (Copellia no Hitsugi, if you want to search of it)
GTO 4 lyf
WATCH OUT MOTHERFUCKERS, HERE IT COMES
