What the fuck is after the event horizon?? ¿???????????????
Your thoughts on black holes?
A single infinitely dense point. You would move past the horizon, happily continue to live for however long it takes you to fall in, then be crushed instantaneously on contact with the centre.
since they think gravity seeps into other dimensions (scientist frequently say this to explain why gravity is so weak) maybe gravity actually comes from its own domain, and a black hole is simply an opening to that dimension of pure gravity
two black holes here
Man wants to know whats out there....
without first knowing whats inside him.
He wants to know whats beyond....
without first knowing himself.
Its a new dawn.
Its a new day.
Its a new life.
And I'm feelin dubs.
singularities cannot be proven, since we cannot look into the black hole. for all we know, it could have a large, incredibly dense exotic matter star.
besides, any matter that proceeds into the event horizon would be instantly incinerated by the wall of photons trapped there.
you don't want to know,, the black holes I've been in.. man
Event horizon is the border of black hole where no matter or light can escape.
What this guy is describing is the singularity
Dat is some bullshit doe
Right on bruv, smash that shit up
infinitely dense isn't allowed by the universe. there's a maximum density that can be acheived and it depends on how much mass there is.
ex: the sun and earth are too small to be black holes
>Your thoughts on black holes?
they'll do if there's no white girls around
In the centre of the black hole there is incredibly dense point called singularity. Because of it's density, singularity has strong gravitational field that doesn't even allow light particles - photons to escape. Event horizont is a sphere around singularity where photons are “orbiting" around singularity - gravity is strong enough to pull photons, but weak enough not to suck them in. Different scientists have different theories what would happen if you go through event horizont, but we probably won't know that in our lifetime.
It's weirder than just being crushed when you hit the centre
First of all if you ever see someone fall into a black hole, you'd see them get to a point, the event horizon and then they'd stop moving and the light coming from them gets red shifted more and more until it has an infinite wavelength
If you're the person going in though then you get to experience something even funkier
If you survive the g force that's present in and around the event horizon, once you pass through, you get to experience time itself moving in a different direction. Time literally flows back towards the event horizon
Physics fag here by the way
Hyperbolic time chamber in the middle
Okay, So I had this theory on the singularity a couple of years back. Being sitting on it since. You /b/tards get to hear it now.
So, the singularity is actually a wormhole to a parallel universe. When you say that the singularity has incredible density, what you're actually doing is you're measuring the overall mass of the parallel universe and dividing it by the size volume of the singularity (almost negligible) which gives an almost infinite density to the singularity. Gravity is strong because it is directly proportional to the mass of the body which is exerting the gravitational force (the whole of the other universe in this case). So, there is nothing special about the singularity. It is just a hole in our universe connecting to one of the other parallel universe.
A white hole? What's that? I've never seen one before, no one has. So what is it? So you mean to tell me that thing is spewing time - back into the universe? I've never seen one before, sir, no one has. So what is it?
in order to survive the g-force, and i'm not talking about humans here, i'm talking about molecular structure, you would need a seriously big black hole so the tidal gradient is small. Seriously big black holes give off seriously big gamma ray bursts.
Whatever is left after approaching and crossing the event horizon of any black hole will not resemble what it was before. Experiencing reversed time is therefore not a likely prospect
white holes are just a theory based on the idea of for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction. No one has actually ever found one
>happily continue to live for however long it takes you to fall in
first the gravity ripps you appart at the roche limit.
your pieces then dissolve in gamma rays as soon as you reach the horizon. the rays that been your body will then circle the horizon forever.
i wouldn't call that "living"
surprisingly its no dumber than any other theory since we can't test any of them and all of them are weird as fuck. The event horizon can be easily compared to a one-way mirror so you could equally validly argue that black holes are God's holiday homes where he can relax and be able to observe the outside world without it observing him
The MASS OF AN ENTIRE UNIVERSE????
NIGGA YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH GRAVITY THAT IS!! (assuming the other 'universe' is of similar size/age as ours).
If this was anything but absolute retardation. then what is stopping the oldest black holes in our universe from sucking our OWN universe IN ON ITSELF?! NIGGA THERE ARE MILLIONS OF BLACK HOLES IN THE UNIVERSE, THINK OF HOW BIG A FUKING UNIVERSE IS BEFORE YOU RETORT THIS DUMB SHIT.
ALSO, INFINITE DENSITY? THE ENTIRE MASS OF OUR CURRENT UNIVERSE COMBINED TO FIT INSIDE UR MUMS ASS WOULD NOT EVEN BE CLOSE TO ALMOST INFINITE DENSITY.
All of these things you are talking about do have literal and actual values, its just our current models cannot fathom them yet. YET.
yeah, stop using the word infinite so liberally. infinity is a concept that's helpful starting from asymptotes and ending in early calculus. it's not "real", it's silly. if you can appreciate any of the laws of physics, you should know that you can't get infinitely dense because matter has rules.
The black holes are just waiting for the right time to suckour sexy universe in...
First they must position their holes in a very aggressive position, once they are all in place we will be sucked into every dirty black hole that is there.
Well then we are looking at a multiverse system where universes ultimately suck themselves into one another to eventually form a whole. this would happen over decillions and decillions of years. Immeasurable in the realm of human perception
Everything you said is right, except for 2 things. If the black hole has a small mass the tidal forces would tear you apart and the Hawking radiation would cook you alive, if it has a sufficiently high mass and you survive past the event horizon time would stop, not run backwards.
I like the idea of that. the multiverse slowly eating it self until itself until it reaches a mass so critical that its own gravity can no longer hold the explosive force. The big bang? then over and over and over. Just theorizing
I think he understands hawking radiation and Spaghettification. Also, time would indeed go backwards beyond the horizon. However, on the edge of the horizon your field of view would be exactly half of the total sphere (half of it black), and this would rapidly decrease as you go further in. So the view wouldn't be great anyway
I guess yeah. But what if big bang was real and just also happening in all of the universes at exactly similar force creating universes with same mass. Maybe black holes are just something even more complicated than just gravity pulling from another end?
Singularities cannot exsist as we know them, they might be incredibly small but not infinite, or else the universe would instantly fall into the black hole. You underestimate the power of infinity.
We've "seen" one (we can detect its cosmic background radiation). It's called "big bang".
>time would indeed go backwards beyond the horizon
If you packed the mass of the sun into an infinitely small area (singularity) it would still only have the same gravitational pull the actual sun has. It would not suck in the entire universe.
If the sun became a black hole right now we would continue to orbit it no problemo
How about you read before you just shit post. The world would be a better place. But if you just save yourself the time and kille yourself now. The would would then become the best place.
What if ancient aliens visited the planet long ago, and the fabled fountain of youth idea came from them, and is really just voyaging into a black hole where time goes backwards? what if....
