ITT:Best mind-fucking movies (in a great way) that you've seen.
>inb4 no Inception, no Butterfly effect, no Snatch, no Revolver (already seen all of these)
I need new deeply-plotted movies
mr nobody is trippy its about the last mortal recalling his life to the new race of humans whoa re immortal
Well, Lord of the Rings is based around a whole new world with multiple languages, races, hundreds of wars, thousands of events, hundreds of places. Talk about deeply plotted movies. Watch the extended verisons of the films.
Not really worth all the praise it gets, good film but overhyped
Trips command it, plus it's basically a modern citizen kane
pseudo-intellectual waste of 2.5 hours. hurrdur universe run by imaginative 10 year old, hurrrrr anything that could possibly happen happens because multiverse theory whoa so smart
old boy (korean original)
Why you were blessed with trips for this post I will never know.
> The Other (1972)
It will start out slow with some pretty sweet intro music. It's a fun little movie...
you won't be disappointed in this one, most i've had to pay attention to a movie in a long time.
>oh god someone has a different opinion
>they didn't think Fight Club deserves being hyped up as the all-time greatest mindfuck for the past 20 years
>They thought Mr. Nobody was actually an intellectual film on par with what only true geniuses could understand, much like TBBT
> damage control
> call him a faggot
salo, or the 120 days of sodom
Dude, you read my mind. I have no Idea what people see in this film. It's good but I think people on here mention it just to try and sound cool.
the departed wasnt really a mindfuck is was just a really cool detective thriller. I mean you knew from the very beginning what was going on but it was still really cool to watch.
Dark City. Imagine waking up every day with new memories, a new life, a new house. At midnight, that life is changed. Now imagine those new memories don't take...
Older movie, but a brilliant concept that fucked my views on reality but good.
Hard Candy. It'll fuck you right good
If you want mindblowing, you have to watch antyhing by David Lynch.
My personal favourite (and one of my favourite movies of all time)
> Lost Highway
Truly, watch this and laugh at the plebs saying how mindblowing 'Ineption' was < terribly overrated movie.
The movie itself could have been a lot better but the concept is where the real mindfuck stays. It was a movie that I admired, no matter how shitty the acting was. A good plot is so very hard to find these days...
Oh you. Yay! I fucking love this movie. I found it in the porn section of our movie rental place as a kid. That fucking intro with the TV static and Tetsuo scrolling across the screen. You wouldn't fuck with a sewer screw.
What about Body Hammer? Have you seen that one? I've never watched that one but I did see Bullet Man.
The twist was spotted less than mid way into the movie.
The film is great but I never understood how it is mind blowing.
Not one post for Eraserhead? Fucked, just fucked...
>get on my level
There was a straight-to-TV movie that came out around the same time as the matrix... Super low budget but similar plot. All I can remember is that at the end the guy unplugs the evil computer system and everyone was walking around in rags, the furniture was all boxes with barcodes/ words written on them like #TABLE. #CHAIR. #TASTY SOUP. Etc.
Only ever saw it the once, never found out the name but damn it was fun to watch!
They pissed off the metal fetishist by having sex infront of his dead body and he cursed them with his Hiroshima metal fetishist curse. During his metamorphosis his psychology is damaged and loses control. Soon he joins with the metal fetishist to rust the world. In the later movies they try to turn this phenomena into a weapon. That's what Body Hammer and Bullet Man is about.
I know! Yet the movie still atracts me so much. I watch it once a year since I saw it when it showed in cinemas.
protip > it's a great divider of souls. Whenever I meet a grill and wanna know if she's compatible, I sit her down and we watch Lost Highway. Then I just sit bck and watch how she reacts.
Great to see I'm not the only one
Also, don't you think Patricia Arquette is hot as fuck in that movie
Yeas...dat soundtrack is truly awesome. Rammstein blasting through just at the most perfect moment...give me chills everytime still
why no jodorowsky yet?
i love this one, by the end of it you doubt how much of the story is even real
plebs have a hard time with this movie.
better skip it, OP
I love that scene....
I love how the bodyguards buckle up like "uh oh bro, here he goes again..."
based Mr Eddie...between him and Frank from Blue Velvet mane. Lynch always has awesome psychos in his movies
Not really a mindfuck, but it teared me up. Made me rethink my life
Yeah dumbass. Asian and muricunts editions
There was this anime/manga pic where a boy sees a crazy monster/woman thing through some binoculars. Then it looks at him and the next couple of frames it shows it running towards him up to his apartment with a crazy look in it's eyes. The last frame shows the boy with the same crazy look running towards you.
Anyone have that picture?
this movie literally changed my life
Well this inadvertently started playing in my head, loud and clear. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAEQuE-ygjA
Also, this movie is one of the (very) few I use to see if someone's movie (and sometimes musical) preferences are worth taking into account at all.
Not the best movie ever, but it's pretty entertaining. Plus it's mindfuckey and I dont think its something everyone has already seen
Only one person mentions Vanilla Sky. I am disappoint.
Seriously... Vanilla Sky. Fantastic movie.
gets more weird as it goes on.
