Now that Tor is dead what are you guys using?
The NSA and FBI have figured out how to trace through the different relays back to the original user.
>they know all of you
>mfw anons will soon be arrested
MODS MODS MODS!!!!!!!! BACKTRACE THEIR IP AND REPORT THEM TO FBI NOW!!!!!!!!!!
The NSA has been financing TOR's development almost since its inception.
They have only recently, however, begun to share the "backdoors" with various Domestic LEA's like the FBI, etc..
DEA, FBI, and HSI are all over TOR. It's true that if you are smart you can get away with certain things, but I wouldn't trust TOR worth shit anymore if I were an anon. I'm in the cyber security field
It's unlikely as HSI and the FBI tend to want to go after the producers and the website admins. It's an extremely tedious process. It's not illegal to browse a drug marketplace online.
everything can be traced. but dont forget, you are just 1 fish in an ocean full of other fish doing the exact same thing. They've got to really have something against you to start tracking you down.
No problem. Believe me, cyber divisions of LE are easily just as smart as many of us in terms of technical familiarity and expertise. That's how Silk Road got taken down. An HSI member was on the inside for quite a long time
In repsonse to my last post, I am about to start in the private sector. I am just referencing what I have learned through the years and the requirements many cyberfags have to have to work in LE. Personally, I prefer the private sector as I feel LE has lost it's integrity over the years
Stay safe anons
explain to me in detail how Tor is dead? It is still better than any clear net variant. I understand the problems of guard/exit node controlled by one party and forged ssl certificates. I also understand the concept of packet matching and how that is a problem.
You should understand that Tor is about the best we have at the moment as it operates under the eyes of many academic teams and FLOSS.
Lol. Yes they do have malicious guard and exit relays but haven't been able yet to mass de-anonymize traffic.
They get funded from military funds. Their financing is open and can be found on the torproject.org. There is no proof of the NSA having a easy backdoor in. Why would they take all the effort of packet matching and controlling exit nodes if they had a backdoor?
>There is no proof of the NSA having a easy backdoor in. Why would they take all the effort of packet matching and controlling exit nodes if they had a backdoor?
That's why "backdoors" was in quotes.
It was a figure of speech referring to the various ways that Tor security is/can-be compromised.
I already corrected myself as to the funding...., read more.
>I also live in the middle of the ocean
That's probably worse. They could just shoot you in the back of the head with the rest of your family, dump you overboard, and claim no one was there.
It sort of sounds like tor: mostly dead ends with not enough there to make it worth it for anything, legal or not.
How hard is it to use i2p compared to tor? I never tried it.
Anyone got some launch codes?
please, share links !!!!! LINKS!!!!! FOR GOD SAKE!!!! I WANNA FAP TO THIS!!!! ITS MY FETISH!!!! I DONT CARE ABOUT THE MEN POLIZ!!!! PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe!!!!!!!
>>controlling middle and exit node
They'd have to control both the nodes you go through to trace you. Or you'd have to reveal yourself from an application that relays to the clearnet, i.e. jv / pdf files etc.
It's not dead. In fact recent news coverage of Sil Road closures and shit has more people than ever using it - 2.5 million. And the more people who are using it the harder it is to track anyone. Its death is greatly exaggerated.
If you had a single doubt that this thread was for anything else you're retarded.
Also, can't believe the mods let this thread stay up after deleting the links multiple times, or the posters deleted them.
I left to become a Hunter.
I await you on top of the wolrd tree.
PS: Your mom was the town whore, I just got unlucky.
