Heavy music thread niggers?
Have you checked out Aborted's newest album? Def worth a listen
I was gonna try and come up with some witty remark to rebut your post, but I don't even care enough.
Love Cattle Decap. They're from my hometown San Diego.
Posting this one band i saw live a few years ago, Enfold Darkness. The lineup changed and havent sounded the same since this album.
grind/pv outta pittsburgh, best young guys going in the genre
any suffocation fans here
Some good shit hitting the beatdown scene
ZTO, Devin Townsend at his finest.
>Metal opera warning
What people who listen to this edgy shit look like
I love These
>posts cattle decap album
>says cannibal corpse is shit
learn to read you illiterate faggot
>Typical passive listening faggot
for anyone listening to metal for over 20 years, Cannibal Corpse and Deicide were the shit back then. Cattle is good, really fucking good. Better than Cannibal is now; but back then, no way. And Deicide is fucking boring now, but back in the 90s, fuck yeah, bring it on.
Indeed. Ive seen them a couple times
Never heard of them huh?
Baby metal might be the worst thing I've ever heard
ill accept that. thank you for not being a faggot to someone who has a different opinion
cant wait for the new release. but monolith is hard to top. planning on seeing them this summer. just dont wanna get stabbed in the neck...
theres so many great metal bands around now. its fucking endless. it pisses me off how most of them cant even earn a decent living with their talent anymore
>being this close minded
All music is good music breh
Really new to the heavy scene, any bands that actually yell / sing with what sounds like emotion instead of just talking like a trash compactor?
>inb4 you don't understand the music
Growling vocals like that just don't seem up to par with the riffs and guitar, feels like there should be more to me.
fuck yes Nile! fucking Karl Sanders and his KXK custom made guitars with those insane scalloped frets....I saw them live in Detroit, and it was without a doubt the fucking loudest show I have ever been to in my life....they're banned from a lot of places in the midwest, cuz they always blow up monitors and speakers and house equipment
Endless diachromatic scales wanked out as hyper arpeggiated musical masturbation is classed as talent? Dat shits just noise dawg ;-P
JK. Anyway it's the same story in all underground genres. There's no money left in any area of it except merch.
hey man I listened to blood mountain and fukin loved sleeping giant
I pretty much hated every other song though
I realize this probably means the band isn't for me but do you know if they have any other songs like sleeping giant?
I miss Dallas's gnarly skullet haha....motherfucker is a cue-ball now
you're cool. april fools you fucking faggot.
>pic related: your fav band XD!!!!!11!
I listen to this edgy shit and I look like a normal CIS white man. no piercings, no stupid haircut, zero tattoos. No one knows I listen to this type of music unless they ask me. Because I'm not a fag.
Blood Mountain was easily their worst album.
I'd try any other album. Crack the Skye is perfection
Yeah nah seriously. Have been listening to metal since the very early 90's. Nile is probably the most retarded, bland, boring and "straight" metal band that have ever raped my ears. I have never even been able to listen to one album all the way through.
Move somewhere better?
OP's daily life: "You wouldn't understand this type of art!"
"I FUCKING hate you all!"
"I wish I could just kill all you fucking douchebags."
"Ugh, kill me now, please."
"Get! The! Fuck! Out!"
(To his family)
Warped, interesting, thought-provoking music that pushed boundaries (and not necessarily just speed). I like metal from a pretty broad cross section of styles so the list of bands I like is pretty long. Bands that pioneer new things interest me a lot more than bands that are just incremental evolutions of the style.
wtf why? That's not even my post but I've recently got into A Shot Below The Belt and I'm hoping the rest of the album suits me even though that song is kinda a roller coaster with the tempo changes.
Anyone hear the new Dodheimsgard? It's fuckin way out there.
names? thoughts on opeth? really into them right now. you like like periphery animals as leaders stuff? they pioneerred shit. heard of ne obliviscarus? the latest release kicked ass
this is pretty sick shit, right up to the harmonics/alt vocals
feels very cheap
but I dig how real the lead vocals sound
like this is a genuinely held belief
I also like that it is Christian without hitting you over the head with it
sabatons just like a boring blind guardian.
Fark... where to start? Here's a few that come to mind.
Oh and get some Australian brutality up ya's
Yea in the wake of pigs is a bit more of their mainstream sound, check out world without a son, or a personal favorite Shed Your Soul. I'll link ya
Latest Autopsy. It's pretty cool.
its not just djent. its all the weird time signatures and electronic music. not really into either bands, and meshuggah is fucking boring. but that nigga tosin is pretty cool. i met him
since some other avante garde shit has come up, any love here for this group?
Oh no... can't have anyone doing something different... just want mah 4/4 and 2 note chromatic riffs for dayz!
I gave Chris Barnes a joint at a show once. Fuck yeah. It was Disturbed, Six Feet Under, and Danzig. Disturbed had just come out, had no hit songs, wore fuckin jumpsuits, and got fuckin booed off stage. Utterly hilarious.
six feet under tries too hard to be brootal.
This song is by emo fucks about some fucking druggy bitch and just the line "the red dragon's walking circles through us all" is more brootal than half of their uninspired decapitations references.
Anyone who doesn't worship Beherit is a false metal poser. Death to false metal!
