I need help /b/
Is there an easy way to make my computer faster??
I had to sell my desktop to solve some financial problems and now I have an slow as fuck laptop. I don't know shit about computers and I don't have too much money to upgrade it.
Is there any way to make it faster??
It's a folder containing a bunch of unwanted files that the computer is programmed with. Deleting it gets rid of extra files that aren't needed and then your computer should be faster
I have a job and I want to get a desktop in the near future, but I can't now, I have some financial problems and I can't afford a decent desktop now
Where is it ?? is the change worth it??
Op don't listen to sys32 bullshit, what you actually need to delete is several folders named 'bin', these contain just some leftover rubbish files that keep your system busy, just find them through the file search and shift-del these motherfuckers
Hey OP I'm a tech at best buy. We get this question a lot believe it or not. The consensus answer is the same, delete system32. We do this for all our customers when their computers need a tune up. I do this for my buddies too, it's quick and easy.
My laptop has windows vista too! is the change worht it??
where are those?! I want to get rid of all the shit that slows my laptop
what is better to remove? system32 or the bin files??
I don't know why you're all asking for a timestamp but whatever, here it is
Now what the fuck happened to my laptop??!!
What you want to do next, is unplug your charger and split the cord after the brick. This will cause the battery to boost up, double the power on your hard drive, and get it past it's "stuck" mode.
This trolls are just trying to scare you.
To solve this easy trolling shit, just pic up a big magnet.
You're gonna need to open the laptop, find the hard drive and move the magnet over it in one direction over and over
This way the hard drive will set to restart mode and windows will start again, normally.
In theory, you shouldn't have lost anything.
>I'm an IT
what have you done?
say goodbye to your old computer and hello to your new piece of metal
a large magnet, used in the way mentioned above will get your computer out of stuck mode, meaning you wont have to reinstall windows (reinstall is very difficult and will take anything from 6-9 hours)
To set the hard drive to restart mode and save your files.
It's made this way because restarting a hard drive takes time and may loose some not saved things. So they didn't put a button, they implemented this system.
Open your laptop, find the hard drive (Big metal thing with CD shape) and apply a magnet to it in one direction. Left to right, from lower part of disc.
Here is another timestamp if you don't believe me
just google it, best of 4chan you have a shit ton of this shit
Dude, you just deleted your OS--operating system. System32 is where all of the OS is stored.
Honestly, your best bet is to go to GeekSquad, tell them you need a system recovery, pay the fee, and then (and this is the most important part): STOP LISTENING TO THE JACKASSES ON /b/! Jaysus!
Dude, seriously? Google shit next time before you do something like that.
Also, future reference, get the following when you do get your shit back up and running and this will help your speed:
Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit Beta
Malwarebytes Anti-Virus (free)
And defrag your disk periodically.
Same guy here. Dude, put the fucking stereo speaker down before you fuck your laptop up beyond saving. Take your ass to Best Buy already and post pics of you explaining to GeekSquad that you were given "expert" advice on 4chan about making your computer faster.
Unless you need your laptop for school or work, quit whining and save up to build a pc that you want. You are just going to waste money trying to upgrade that beta, substandard, nigga grade laptop. Need help building a pc, come back or go on youtube.
Thank you all fuckers, now I fucked up my laptop and you wont tell me how to fix it
I need this shit for college
I can't pay that shit, I have financial problems... I read you guys hacked a lot of computers and are overall good with computers so I tought you could help me make my laptop faster
If you're serious then you are one stupid piece of shit. If you are trolling then I give you a 4/10 for effort if not originality.
Bring it in to geeksquad for a system restore (make sure you bring your recovery media) its $129.99 but if you have tech support with us ($199.99 for a year) then it will be covered.
OP goes from not knowing where to find or what sys32 is to deleting it to trying to reboot his computer to posting on his phone in 5 minutes? you idiots fell for the bait right from that start.
