E-sports aren't real sports and need to be called something different like 'Autism Combat'. It's just a way for fat autistic weeaboos to feel like normies since football and other real sports escape their grasp.
Prove me wrong, Faggots
>pro-tip: you can't
SPOILER: If you're using terms like "weeaboos" and "normies", you're part of the problem.
Awww look, he's mad because I called out his autistic as fuck gamer friends on their need to be accepted as one of us.
How's being a spergtard working out for you, champ?
Sure thing, sugartits. You saw this thread and you just HAD to respond to it, because I triggered the rage inside you. Calm down there, sport, you can still have a life, but don't delude yourself. You and your pasty-as-fuck pals will never fit into society no matter how much you lie to yourselves and each other.
"Prove me wrong" threads aren't real threads and need to be called something different like 'Autism Threads'. It's just a way for fat autistic weeaboos to feel like normies since football and other real activities escape their grasp.
Prove me wrong, Faggots
>pro-tip: you can't
why the fuck do you even try to call them sports?
IT IS YOU that suggest they are sports, players wanted something like "competitive gaming" but it sucks and normies want "e-sports" which have nothing to do with sports.
Suck dick b8
People below are feeding the troll op
so in the oxford dictionary exertion is defined as "Physical or mental effort" we can ignore mental since you specify physical exertion. The 2nd definition is "The application of force, influence, or quality."
just looking at the first definition "e-sports" meet these qualification. players have to put forth effort(albeit minute quantities) to press buttons. doing so with specific timing and awareness of what other players are doing shows skill.
let them call it e-sports, its better overall.
the people who don't exercise and play games all day will be into 'e-sports', and then others can encourage them to be more well balanced by participating in some real sports as well.
the term creates a dichotomy that can get more people into actual sports by encouraging a balance.
That's a funny way of saying, "disappointment to one's parents and anybody who ever cared about them"
because you make every dicision based on what your parents think of them. pro tip: you live your parents life then.
also tier1 pro players make a shit ton of money and enjoy what they are doing. why would you not love that as a parent?
there are very, very few people who make money from playing video games. Even if they did make a lot of money, it's not something respectable like having a proper, educated profession.
I hate fat autistic weeaboos
"like having a proper, educated profession."
who gives a fuck if you make money and enjoy what you do? seriously, im studying as a programmer at a decent university, but i wont do anything just to impress strange people ffs
I wager 5,000 shekels that every single one of those autistic cunts walks without moving his arms, and speaks in a monotone voice. And that his breath fucking stinks.
This thread triggered me, I will admit. I don't know how anyone can be so dense and idiotic to not see e-sports as a sort of sport. If competitive gaming shouldn't be considered a sport, chess, poker(any card game really) shouldn't be considered a sport, which they are.
A sport isn't only defined by physical activity, but is also defined by mental activity.
Again, I was triggered by OP and I probably fell for the bait.
What are you talking about? Look how cool e-sports players are!
They do look pretty scary and intimidating here, 10/10 wouldn't mess.
Is that what they call sports now instead of kids getting out and nailing each other playing dogeball. Gotta say one thing about that, it gets the anger out, then back to classes.
These panzy little faggots are stupid and their parents worse to get a little scrape on their little special snowflakes knees. PATHETIC!
The little faggots need to call the
The International Dota2 tournament 2014: prize pool: 11 mil USD
Winner team got 5mil in total or about 1mil. USD per player., second place winner team got 1.1mil.
The International Dota2 tournament 2015: prize pool: 18.4mil. USD
each of the winners got 1.3mil. USD.
Winner team got 6.6mil in total or about 1.3mil. USD per player, second place winner team got 2.8mil., etc.
>LoL/SC/CS:GO fags, u jelly?
Can you become a millionaire at 18 with any other "normal" sport?
Can you become a millionaire with any other game from just one event?
I don't count poker/gambling, i know you can earn a lot more there.
PS: Chess is also considered a sport, poker/cards as well, pool table/billiard as well. I never understood why, but they are. Heck, golf is considered also a sport and it's...
You are raging because now teens get a ton of money for sitting in a chair all they long and yet you forget that people have been doing that since decades.
Also, recently one of the most rich people on the planet and 3. rich in Russia, the guy who owns fucking GazProm (the guy who is building East Stream) gave 100mil. USD to a Russian Dota2 team (VirtusPro) to stimulate e-gaming in general in that country.
And lastly, personally I see barely any difference between watching a team of volleyball/football/etc. compete professionally and watching a e-team. It requires a lot of skills and even pro players have told it.
Furthermore in Korea e-sports are so fucking huge that actually the national e-sports champions go sometimes on the most important football/volleyball/etc. games to stimulate their players, to give them courage and such.
tl;dr : Seems like anything that requires years to master and be really skilled and a thing in which you can compete with others can be a sport. Games are like this, thus they are sports.
Not only are esports a joke, but they are ruining games. Everyone thinks they can be a fucking pro, and so the attitude has completely shifted. Every other player has full blown autism now, regardless of what game you play.
Unless someone is making games thus having to playtest them often, I disrespect anyone who claims they play video games for a living.
You betting fags are just fucked that you've been regulated now and your insider trading shit has been reigned in. That shit was never above board and the only people involved with it were suckers./
You in the right thread there, friend?
It worked like the US congress, the were allowed to do insider stock trading until just a few years ago but prosecuted others for doing it.
The laws are different now, deal with it. Deal with regulations, the banking regulations about gambling have existed for a very long time.
It's not about defining sport, it's about defining gambling on anything. The faggots in the government want their cut now that they cant get legal insider trading while in office.
>the people who don't exercise
go check how MOBA players look like
except for chinese teams all are very fit, specially the Americian players.
Google DotaDemon or Arteezy for instance
all my friends:
>not into anime
>go to the gym at least 4 times a week (6 myself)
>going to the same university
>have gf's and jobs
we all know your life sucks. just try not to make me look bad in the public eye pls
>protip: you cant
>>Fat-middle aged men in tights playing with their balls for two hours
True, they may not be sports in the "traditional" sense but at the end of they day you can insult them all you like. They still earn more money and get laid more than you ever will
I do, I've done AML for years, and it's an excuse for you to go against American laws. Don't be a scumbag.
You're a scumbag aren't you? Just get a proper license just like everyone else you stupid fucking cunt.
While I don't agree with your comment, "Autism Combat" made me kek, carry on.
>more than 150 replies
You did good today, OP. You did good.
I shouldn't have to pay for a "license" you fucking bootlicker. Murica!
I wager 5000 shekels that you have never seen anyone from Cloud 9 compete.
Most people who play games competitively aren't fat disgusting degenerate trash like the stereotype suggests.
I'm not a pastor and you two should get a room to launder money, but some of us are here to prevent that.
We don't like our currency being used for your shit agenda.
Lol autism combat, my sides good one. They are pretty lame I think but their not hurting anyone and 27 million people watched the north Korean tourney last year that's more than the NBA finals and baseball world series. Its extremely popular globally and made the company twitch worth so much money to Microsoft. Like it or not dude online gaming is more important than every sport except football and soccer for now.
It doesn't but if unregulated it means that nobody can say that it isn't and therefore there's no trust in it.
Do you really trust these people, they were busted a couple weeks ago for insider shit between companies.
Are you really that stupid?
Mother fucking volleyball? Are you serious anon? You have obviously never seen a sporting event in your life if FUCKING volleyball is your go to example of a real sport. Stick to league.
I like esports. I like Hockey and football better. Noone really gets hyped when some esports team wins big money. If my hockey team won the stanley cup, or my Football team won the superbowl I'd flip my shit.
That's the difference. the hype
this fat weeaboo made 15000$ in a single night by playing cs:go
Speaking of money you fuckers forget how every popular streamer, especially a girl (like HelenaLive) make 10k+ a day from donations.
Then again, twitch is like chaturbate but sluts get more money playing games instead of showing pussy. Retards will do anything in a hope that they will get noticed. ANYTHING.
fuck yes i'm jelly.
I'd camwhore myself if i was a girl or funny/skilled enough to strim some games.
for 10k a day i'd make a baboon of myself on the internets while playing some moba/fps/mmorpg.
the should just be called computer games, its the modern equivalent of board games like chess. chess has championships too and it isnt a sport either. they went wrong with calling it a sports because its not a sport its a computer game
an activity involving physical action and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment.
It's a sport the same way golf or volleyball or curling is, it has a small amount of physical activity and people watch it, you can be buttmad but that's the way it is.
>There's a big ass difference.
if you look at league of legends then you see its just a board game played with computers. take away the fancy animations replace the game mechanics with cards and boom you have a board game.
There is no physical activity douche. Keep telling yourself that moving a mouse is physical activity if it makes you feel better about your fifth bag of potato chips for the day.
why so deeply rused
You're a fuckin' moron. If you want to make a league it has to be trusted, and you faggots that want it to not be regulated are stupid and short sighted.
You don't understand that you just got a gaming license. Deal with it, you'll make billions you stupid idiots, regulation is your friend. You people are seriously stupid.
