I will leave my job in a month because big changes will make this job unbearable. It pays me 45,000$ and it is enough for me. I am 25.
I do not have any higher education and I do not want to work for a boss again. I do not want to go to school for 2-4 years to ultimately work for someone. I want to learn something on the Internet that could make me earn money. I have enough money to survive for 6 months without working. But at the end of this 6 months, I would need to be able to start something that could potentially, with invested time, at least 40,000$ a year.

>>1667394 Pretty much the same here. Only I have like $200 and I want only $4000/year since I'm living in a "developing" country. And that's why online freelancing isn't a good option; whatever you offer someone will do it for much less. Write down the things you like to do in your free time and see how you can monetize them. However making $40k sounds like a lot of work and luck that way.
Right now I'm trading cryptocoins and make profit but since I have a small capital my gains are small too.
>>1667224 a contract which would be amazingly difficult to uphold or enforce.
I'm not sure why anyone would enter into such an agreement when they could presumably buy their own lot for less than it would cost to litigate the contract. They could likely get the land for less than a lawyer would charge to draw up the paperwork.
Say you're given the full-time labor of the world's most capable software engineer and computer scientist for a short period of time, say 1-3 years. The only flaw: he has precisely zero creative capacity outside of the task he's given.
What do you have him develop or invent for you that would provide the greatest payoff?
I really have no problem making money, but its kind of rediculous that I put all this work into a degree and because of actions that have nothing to do with my work ability I wouldn't be able to get a job. I've worked since I was 18 and enjoy working for what I have. Its frustrating.
I want some opinions on $MCWEF. It's MCW Energy Group Ltd. It has a plant in Utah converting oil sands into light crude using a proprietary eco-friendly method. It seems like it has a niche market nobody else is doing and has great potential but on the other hand its a tiny company that does not turn a profit ever since fuel prices are low still and they have a lot of debt.
I feel unconventional oil sources are the future of energy and petroleum prices will remain high forever. I think their tech being eco friendly has a huge market... in 10-20 years. But shares... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

I'm planning on self-publishing a product on Steam. I've been working on the project itself for months, things are going well on that front, but now I'm wondering about a few of the more technical aspects of this thing.
>What's the best way to create a .com website? So many "guide" websites are just shilling for their own web hosting services, and I don't want to get ripped off when creating a simple website for marketing and selling the product directly (and bypassing the Steam cut).
>For a simple website, is Wordpress any good? I'm mainly concerned about pimping out the presentation. If there's a clearly superior alternative, I'd love to know what it is.
>Do I need to "create a company", and declare it to my country's administration? Or can I just link my Paypal account to Steam and keep the revenue undeclared? I personally don't need to keep the revenue under the table, but I don't want to go through paperwork unless there's a clear benefit to it.
>Is going through Steam Greenlight mandatory/preferrable? Do people even pay attention to Greenlight anymore? So much shit to stir through, I personally haven't gone in there to browse/thumbs up products in months.
>Is Good Old Games any good? I personally only used GoG to buy a few select "pre-patched" old school games while they were dirt cheap, but there's usually no way I'd go there for anything else, especially modern.
Feel free to ask me for details on the project if necessary, I'll be trying to find answers to these questions myself in the meantime. Cheers.
feds are raising this week, we are doing shit we have been doing shit for the past 8 years this interest rate raise will put us in the shitter along with the world, they want to make sure trump does not take the white house. war will destroy us so the only solution is economic recession
>got fired today >700 euro in bank >Uni starts in Januari
Need 1.5k euro for the upcoming study year. How do I manage to get this in a month time? Finding for a new job will cost me a couple of weeks easy, in the meantime I'm sitting on my ass at home. It's really frustrating knowing that I'm throwing time and money away that I potentially could have made meanwhile looking for a new job.

>>1666730 21, didn't chose a study yet deadline is in the end of December (University Antwerpen), live in Holland but will study in Belgium. It's a 30min ride with train and 5min walk from the station to uni.
I live in France and I am interested in setting up a business abroad (not in the short-term future but maybe in 7 or 8 years from now).
Even if my "project" is nothing serious, I would like to know, >what countries offer the most interesting opportunities and the most promising markets around the world?
To put it in a nutshell, I believe that subsaharian Africa is the most interesting region. In the years to come, the population will drasticaly increase, offering an huge new market (for infrastuctures... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

Don't call a lawyer, just let her know politely that you're moving out like you love the place but are just moving on with your life and hence moving, she will give you your deposit it, she doesn't want any legal troubles. If you did your part and nothing is legitamately broken she should give it back, the worst i would expect is that she looks real hard for a reason to keep your deposit just make sure there isn't one
>>1666466 When asked if you can undertake more responsibility than you currently do, always answer truthfully. It does you, your boss, and fellow employees no good for you to say "yes" to every task asked of you only to not complete all of them the correct way and on time.
Also, get a prescription for adderall or vyvanse if you want to not burn out within 2 years.
Make $19.50 a hour Job is ez pz Get overtime anytime I want. Schedule is a swing schedule and doesn't allow me to attend school. Only have a GED.
I'm 22 and know I'm going to be a lower class labor worker for the rest of my life and will likely only be able to marry a fat woman that spends her entire checks on Burger King and Wal-Mart. But I really love my job.

I'm in a similar situation but I'm even more screwed because I'm working as a medical secretary for the NHS. Worked my way here from an apprenticeship after I finished school. I've been considering doing a university course lately because even though I enjoy my job I don't want to be here forever.
/biz/ is it possible to invest in the price of sex? Say you're a man who comes across a prostitution ring, and you decide to give the dealer a particular amount of money for the purchase of illicit drugs in order to distribute among the workers in exchange for payment, and say the ringleader is willing to give you a cut of the profit for investing in his ring. Is it possible to corporatize prostitution?
How retarded am I for trying to do this outside of Amsterdam or Las Vegas?
i don't think these organisations are short on money and i'm certain they won't like an outside investor to whom they would be accountable.
also, i really don't get your example. you come across a prostitution ring. now you're giving a drug dealer money. that dealer sells drugs to prostitutes. and now the guy who runs the ring should give you a cut? for drugging up his assets and charging money for it???
but seriously, these kinds of businesses are short on all kinds of things, but money is not one of them. what would they even need more money for? there are no investments to save up for in prostitution. it's a service industry.
Hi /biz/ Hope this is the correct board. Anyway I'll cut to the chase. I'm requesting someone to help me come up with my business name. My company that is all via word of mouth as of yet makes sound systems. Based in the U.K. These sound systems are free party's (raves) clubs and any music event in need of big loud speakers. Preferably the company name needs to end in 'audio' so something like 'stable audio' i dunno. But all idea appreciated. Many thanks /biz/
I know a few rich kids on discord. They're all lazy neets. One girl I know inherited several hundred thousand dollars from her grandpa and now she just does nothing almost all day until she gets bored and takes a job, but then she just stops going to work when she doesn't want to and gets fired in less than a month each time. Over and over for as long as I've known her. Most people who get money without trying are lazy fucks.
I'll post some choice quotes when I get home but basically he does deals and puts out press statements full of absolute lies so he can come back and claim he was misquoted while at the same time gaining leverage over who he's making a deal with.
He also is a hardcore nickle and dime guy, once I think it was Colin Chapman at a party who told Mario Andretti he would pay him 1000 dollars if he would throw Bernie into the pool, Andretti at first agreed then sidled up to Bernie: >What are you doing? >Colin... tfw there are educated people on this board who would rather live in a house that is above their means just to posture but be unable to truly relax and have security in it, rather than living in a house that is below their means and living in it like a king.
