bump. i have a full time job and want to experiment with a little cash on Forex. I have been reading about it for some time. does anyone have any recommendations for good books on different systems, cycles, etc.
a medium of exchange for goods and services that is backed by gold. Those paper notes are official IOUs that you were supposed to turn into the bank in exchange for gold.
The reason why gold was the standard is because it cannot be replicated or deteriorate. It was to replace inconventient trading, like trading crates of corn for a cow when the crates of corn would eventually go bad. There would be a well known of agreement on how much gold would be needed to trade for the cow or get a blowjob.
At some point in the 20 century, the gold standard was taken away... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
unless you actually git gud at programming you're probably just gonna end up following a tutorial or something and make a game that's already been made. Also you won't make money doing this so it isn't really biz related
How to make an app where people can find new friends and acquaintances?
The problem with most messengers and social networks is that they are designed to communicate with people you already know. That's why small startups usually have no audience at all: why would I use a shitty app if no one from my contact list is there?
"Dating" sites is another story. For most of their users, finding RL friends would be the first step to a relationship, not swiping hundreds of photos every fucking day. Still, there is no app that helps people just get together... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Could be like chatroulette, but without the camera. Just adding a bunch of things abour yourself and find someone with similar interests. If you like the person and he/she likes you back, you can add them and videochat and stuff.
Do any of you guys have any idea what kind of a job an 18 year old starving student can do for a living. Keep in mind that sucking dick here pays less than McDonald in US. I speak English fluently with a semi-British accent. That's why i'm thinking customer support for a US company because minimum wage in America is prestige pay over here. Any suggestions on where i should try my luck?
>>1058363 Dude, America doesn't have $15 an hour yet. You're not going to be any richer moving to the USA to live on the minimum wage. Get something here first, get some capital and THEN try and make it in the States.
>did some googling >15% of women in the workforce admit to having slept with their bosses >37% of those perceived themselves as being rewarded at work for it >Went all the way up to women at the CEO level >If aware of the affair 60% of males and 70% of females lost respect for the individual
Seems like sleeping with the boss might be one of the strongest career moves a mid-level professional woman can make, particularly... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
My dad has a company that has been passed on from generation to generation that I was supposed to inherit, but that's where the problem lies. A few years ago I went down a dark path and completely lost myself in theft and illegal substances and went to jail for a while. After I came out I started my life over from scratch, got a good girlfriend and found some new friends. I recently got back into contact with my dad and it turns out we share a lot of hobbies such as politics and economics. Now I really want to work in my dad's business... Comment too long. Ask anything to a guy that is opening a bar in Prague with his best mate.
We rent the place for 40.000 CZK a month, we are both moving in there too so we don't have to pay our apartments, which saves us 20.000 CZK a month. That really gives us budget for marketing, and since we now only need to make 30.000 CZK a month to be positive, it is almost impossible to lose money. Ofcourse we want apartments, but for now it's the best option.
>>1058310 You can most likely lie about it. Chances are you won't be audited unless you're making 200k+ a year which I assume you're not since you're claiming your brother and he doesn't have health insurance
Safe assumption. Did so last year and no issue, but I have read that this year was supposed to be different. My guess is that the government is mostly talk and will not push the issue. The more we pay in penalties, the more the ACA looks like a failure and tax on the middle class.
If a dependent you claim didn't have insurance for that year, my understanding is that you will get "fined", which will just be a deduction from your tax refund.
My dad got all pissed at me for not getting health insurance when I was 18 because of this. It's like, fuck off, if you're going to claim me then its your responsibility that I'm insured, don't act like its my problem.
>>1058281 ? That doesn't make sense. How does a paper w-2 make one impoverished? How does an online W-2 make one not impoverished? Almost all tax software has the option to do paper, online or both.
OP you NEED to get that W-2. They send one to the IRS too so they know exactly what the numbers should be and will cross check it with what you submit on your 1040. However if you made less than say 40k they may decide it's not worth their time to audit you, but that's taking a very silly risk.
I was in some movie with Arnold GainsNegger, and they got my info because whatever. I didn't realize they were going to pay me the shit extra wage. Anyway, I got a check for fucking 36.06. But I don't have any sort of tax form from them.
Do I need to file it? Can I file it from paycheck somehow, they did include deductions on the paycheck for some reason.
Also, I assume throwing away the check without cashing it and not filing isn't an option since the company is? I could care less about this trash, but I don't want to wait for them to send out the forms.
I heard a lot of good things about this book: Raw Deal - How the "Uber Economy" and Runaway Capitalism Are Screwing American Workers http://www.amazon.com/Raw-Deal-Capitalism-Screwing-American/dp/1250071585
>makes public transportation cheaper and more user-friendly for everyone in the country, especially those who couldn't afford taxis in the past >"screwing american workers"
Here's an idea: requiring a "taxi driver license" creates a racket that prevents free enterprise for people that want to be drivers. Maybe it is, in fact, the government that is screwing the American worker. But that has never happened before.
Decentralised uber built using the etgereum blockchain will be entirely p2p and be a better deal for drivers and passengers by cutting out the middleman which sucks 40 billion dollars value out of the system like a giant parasite.
Uber, airbnb, all centralised sharing economy companies will get btfo by ethereum.
