China loans billions of dollars to America.
Apparently China is in huge debt at the moment.
So if China is now in debt, where is everyone getting their money from?
And where in China getting their money from now, who is giving them loans?
And Is China still giving out loans to other countries with their huge debts?
Would be great if you could clear this up for me Biz
>where is everyone getting their money from?
Oi vey, stop asking so many questions! Just keep on playing the game!
Don't have children, buy these stocks instead! Good price!
I want to start trading on the stock market. What books should I read first, and what sites should I visit?
This is basically everything you need to know mathemathecially:
and with this book you get how CEOs try to work towards higher shareholder value:
read these from cover to cover looking up everything you don't understand
If you can't be fucked reading up for yourself or taking about a good year or 2 to learn either the technical or fundamental analysis, go get course on groupon or something that'll teach you everything for cheap
Nah. The S&P500 is going to BTFO all you contrarian faggots.
Prove me wrong.
>running torrent website
>spent lotta hours to actually get it circulating
How to get at least a few $ daily outta it? Thought about linkbucks, but they:
a) require me to use real identity, what indirectly links me to the service
b) their policy prohibits illegal content
Still, I believe making visitors to pay for...

There are 3 distinct US crashes, the 2000-2002 Dotcom Crash, the 2008 Housing Crash, and the 2015 Crash going on now. What caused our current crash though?
Let's say I have $100 to invest into stocks or ETFs. What should I do to buy'em online? Is RobinHood a safe option? I live in Russia btw, therefore never gonna use Russian brokers, exchanges, or anything even slightly related to Russia.
Q: What is your definition of "rich"? In terms of either income or net assets. Obviously this is very subjective, but I'm interested to hear what people's definitions are.
Picture completely unrelated.
When it comes to engineering degrees. how much does it matter from where you obtain the degree?
My mother and I got into an argument about this the other night--she's set on sending me to Yale or Harvard, even though we can't afford it, because she thinks I won't get a job otherwise. I'm currently studying EET at a local community college which also offers a BA in EE, but I'm not sure if I want to pursue that yet.
The unfortunate truth is that Ivy League does have a lot of cachet, and the connections you make there do pay off. However you have to get in first... how does your mom know you'll get in?
Just do your two years at CC and transfer to the best in-state school you can.
not really. sometimes even the ivy schools are a bunch of idiots. look at yale right now for example. you're better off going to a decent school that you can pay for (better if you can get others to pay YOU to go). the other is to make sure you get a high gpa, because some people care about that for your first job and it's easier to get back into grad school later in life
the 2+2 method you're doing is a perfectly sound way to get a EE degree
Thinking of starting a hot tub hire company, struggling to come up with a brand/company name.
Really basic question here. I'm sure a variant on this has been asked a lot of times.
I'm a uni student, and have about $15k CAD that I would be okay investing. Do I just put it in an index fund? That seems to be what people say. However, I'm not that afraid of risk. I don't need this money at all. What does /biz/ recommend in this case?
So I was stupid and even though I switched banks I did not close my account out.
About a month ago I was making a purchase with paypal and used said bank which was rejected and I was given a late draft fee. I spoke with a branch manager at my bank about this and she spoke with her manager or whatever but both came back stating that since it was not a bank error they cannot do anything about it.
I have a -98.00 balance in that account which will go to collections in a few weeks. What will really happen to that money once it goes to the collection agency, will they just...

You're better off paying the balance. After a certain amount of time, debts will appear in your credit report. Late payments have a high impact, and can very negatively affect your credit for a long period of time.
Why aren't the big boys hitting it with space?
I'm talking about George Soros, Bill Gates, Rockefeller... These guy's got billions, and they call themselves Philantrophists, Why aren't they building up huge space companies like Space X and Blue Origin ?
I never understood this. They got so much power. Bill Gates needs to stop wasting time on stupid kids in Africa and start focusing on Mars. What the fuck is going on.
Anyone here working for an HFT firm? If yes, what's your educational background? How much do you get paid? What's your day like?
engineering -- made about 250k this year
so far every day has been different so it's difficult to say what my day is like. in general i'll monitor performance of what is currently trading and if something isn't working as well as we expected (in the short or long term) then i identify why and fix it
EVERYONE BUY PANDACOIN WAY OF THE FUTURE YOU'LL MAKE MILLIONS
>Amounts to literally nothing
EVERYONE BUY ETHEREUM WAY OF THE FUTURE YOU'LL MAKE MILLIONS
Why should I believe you assholes
I want to make some extra cash by shoveling snow since I got nothing to do right now.
