One thing that seems to follow everyone who is successful is an ability to QUICKLY learn things BY THEMSELVES. How much can you guys read per day and actually retain the information?

I'll start. I can read like 80 pages of a novel in one go before I have to go do something else and think about what I read. For a real textbook, that number is probably 50 pages.

I notice a lot of successful people that BLOW through dozens of books every month. They're always reading something new. When they have to learn something entirely new, they get a dozen books and just power through all of them in less than one month and suddenly become practically an expert on the damn subject, or at least equivalent of a bachelors degree holder in the subject.

One outlet in my pad goes to someone else's meter. Neighbor, common, I am not sure. It is in a long hallway and I do not want to run any detention cords. Outside of a grow lamp or bitcoin miner is there any way to abuse or make money off this free juice.

Working, having the same routine all your life, and at old age soddenly stop.

Is there a minimum amount you should have before you start investing?

Apologies if this is a common question, I don't visit /biz/ very often. I'm a poorfag who works a minimum wage job, but by living frugally over the past year I've managed to save about £1000 that's just sitting in my bank account. Is it worth investing that somewhere? If so, are there any simple guides for retards? Ideally I'd like to make some low-risk investments and maybe get something like 5-10% return each year.

Do technical analysis. Its based on patterns, trends and statistical proof.

Most people here do fundamental analysis which is like guess work.

You can increase whatever you put into stocks by 10% every month. The more you put in the more you get out. Its exponential.

Im giving a free lesson if you are interested.

What does it mean to earn more money in different countries and currencies?

I am confused exactly what the means.

For example, take Norway and Canada.

Average wages in Norway are higher, but prices are also higher. So how exactly does that mean wages are higher? Surely the value of a currency is based on its ability to purchase things?

So wouldn't it be better to live and work in a country with the best wage:price ratio?

Monthly wages in two countries:

Canada $4,134
Norway $5,418

Canada is much bigger than Toronto. What may be true in Toronto is certainly not true in Edmonton or Vancouver or Halifax.
>>
>>1521074
Not always. Compare what you have in each country (ie: health care, public transport, ability to walk to places, etc.) and you may notice that even though a country has a worse ratio, it may be better to live in because of how many of your expenses are covered.
The richer you become, the more important that wage:price ratio becomes.
>>
it also has an impact on the wealth distribution and the size of the middle class
there's an interesting graph on the internet that I can't be bothered to find, but it shows the wealth distribution of multiple countries and the size of the respective wealth classes

basically in Northern europe countries where the standard of life is very high and the wages/prices too, the middle class is considerably bigger than in countries with extreme wealth distribution inequalities such as the USA, the UK, France...

there's 2 distinct options.

first is hire him as an employee. you'll need to get liability insurance for yourself and workman's comp insurance for him. See your insurance agent for advice. Then get on the IRS website and find the forms for withholding and depositing taxes for yourself and your employee. The amount is large, you pay as much taxes on his income as he does. From there you just follow the IRS instructions and make tax payments and deposits on time.

the second method is to hire...

I want to attend a Bilderberg conference, simple as that. How on Earth do these people come up with these historically profitable ideas? Pic related was just an attention-grabbing example, but still. I'm an easily content person in the day-to-day with little (read: zero) friends, so a social network would've never crossed my mind, nor does a lot of "why hasn't anybody thought of this before?" sorts of ideas.

How does a person develop an eye for niches like that? Is it something you simply either have or don't?

yeah most successful people like this are born with a gift for abstract thought that allows them to come up with solutions to problems that have not been thought of before.

you can train yourself to think outside the box and solve problems more. google "improving abstract thought/reasoning" you should find some stuff.

you can be successful by practicing and working for it, but for most they were just gifted with a high functioning brain.

Hey /biz/

I'm currently using Questrade which is okay but the mobile app sucks and the website advanced features are just meh. The fact that you just can't save the charts preferences is dumb (e.g. cannot set candles per default).

What are you using for your Canadian stock trading?

I'm looking to find a broker without insane commission fees, with good advanced features and mobile apps (at least on iOS). Any suggestions?

Qtrade, td waterhouse or IB are solid.

Questrade isn't bad either, one of the best

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll take a look at them! Been reading good things about Qtrade everywhere but I tend not to trust all opinions from finance blogs xD

Also I'd like to add: I don't want any suggestions with "non activity fees" or misc fees like that.

It's really solid. Personally I love it. I feel like it also portrays white collar life (at least in that time) pretty well.

I don't want to give those websites my real info. I also don't want to show my face to a bunch of weirdos.

(I'm a guy btw ;))

Is anyone interested in investing the finishing funds into my video game? It's been in development for about two years and nearly complete, just need a little bit to top off the programmers' wages. You're bound to get your money back and more shortly after the game is released and we can obviously find a place to discuss outside 4chan. Note that if discussion about putting money comes in and you want to see a lot of the game's content I may need you to sign an NDA

What type of game is it? Where can I buy your game? Are you releasing an open beta? Will it have multiplayer? How much will it cost? Do you guys fix bugs? Are the graphics up to date? Whats the running speed of your game? How big is it to download? Will it be for console or PC? Do you have an age rating and warnings on it? What are the PC spec requirements if it is for PC? Any hacker proofing? Any potential for my account to get hacked? How are you going to make the game balanced? How can I pay for the game? Will you...

I'm ready for all the questions :)
It's a multiplayer only (for now) fighting game. It's different from your traditional fighting game as you can customize your character and also collect weapons, armor, and items to upgrade. We need around $2,000 (I will accept minimum $500 increments each) to get the game on the market and could probably do it within the next month as we are very close to being finished. It's a free game that will be available for Steam, Facebook, iOS, and Android. We have...
