Haven't heard from this company I was interviewing at for 1 week. I'm shitting myself at the moment, the interviewer assured me that they would call in a few days. What are the chances that I'm not selected? + The interview panel seemed to like me a lot + They are in need of staff + I worked there as an intern + I'm friend with a manager - Fucked up a few times during my internship, slept on the job once - Doesn't know Mandarin (pretty important, I'm living in Singapore) - They also interviewed another dude who very likely knows... >Fucked up a few times during my internship, slept on the job once This is a massive fuck up, hopefully you learned your lesson.
>the interviewer assured me that they would call in a few days Don't take this as an accurate statement in any way. I've heard the same and had the exact same concern but they ended up giving me an offer weeks after.
You were already an intern there. You should have a good idea if they would hire you or not for full-time.
Anyone here code Metatrader 4? What would you recommend would be the best place to start learning how to code metatrader 4?
I see Metatrader4 as the only for me to make money in Forex or commodities. I can't stare at the screen for 8 hours. Gotta just program my idea into code and let it do the job. i get that I have constantly adjust and update my code. There is no such thing as the 'holy grail'.
Can someone who's well versed and knowledgable in business and finance please explain to me in simple terms how the economy and stock markets and overall well being of the global economy works? I do some research on the side but I want someone especially if ur a business or economics major or if your in that line of work to explain to me in detail how economic systems and business works. What is the driving force behind the economy? What causes economies to do good or bad what causes stock markets to bubble or burst, how do business and financial systems work like banks... I'm in quite the pinch. I am writing a piece of uni coursework which is due in 35 hours and one of its main components is the analysis of a decently sized organisation's organisational chart. Ideally I would need a chart of a branch of that organisation, instead of it just being focused on the very top managerial levels.
I have been doing a lot of research myself these past few days, using both google and scholarly databases, however it all came back blank. I was briefly in contact with a manager from a local Tesco, a major UK hypermarket... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
In my country it's possible to borrow money from the government to fund your education at a very low interest rate. So far, I've borrowed about 25.000 eur and put it into a savings account. The interest rate for 2016 is set at 0.01%. I would like to put this money to good use, but obviously it can't be too risky, as it is borrowed money. After 2 years after I finish my college I'm supposed to start paying it back monthly, over a timespan of 35 years. The interest rate will be set at the rate of the year I finish my college in. >legalize drugs >set up government owned labs >sell out of state stores >put a healthy 10% tax on every sale > more jobs are created >money is circulating within the system and not going into the hands of criminals >people are geting a high quality product made in a sterile lab by professionals as opposed to a dingy trailer by a guy who can barely count his... >>1039045 That's a horrible blog post from a very ideologically partisan individual who clearly lacks a good understanding of the Star Trek universe. They have an informal social currency based on a person's reputation.
Everything is "free" in the monetary sense, where people will give you what you ask for without charge because it makes them look good. However, if you're an asshole that abuses the system and demands a lot of stuff without contributing to society, people will dislike you and... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Long story short. I can't use ninja trader anymore. im a funded trader working for a mid sized company. I've used rithmic via ninja earlier now that isn't possible.
so my options are:
a) quit my job and become my own boss b) just learn how to use R trader c) use 3rd party chart program (since rithmic doesn't have charts of its own, maybe the pro version has I don't know) and only use Rithmic to execute orders. And what chart program do you guys recommend
>>1038989 There's no upside for a few months. Until oil production cuts happen, the dollar and oil will continue there decline. Unemployment is going to keep climbing.
The BoC will do everything in its power to prevent the housing crash. They used to be dogmatic about inflation, but house values are all we have left. Once they fall everyone is going to blame the current gov't so expect the libs to pressure Poloz into negative rates.
I have lost thousands of dollars so far and expect the pain to continue.
How do I invent an appliance? My idea is a novel modification to a household item, think something like a rice cooker. It has niche appeal and I am confident it would succeed if marketed properly. I've been thinking about this for almost a year now and I even wrote up a product proposal draft. I personally know myself and others who would use this invention every day.
But how do I get the ball rolling? I'm just a simple IT guy, not an engineer or industrial designer. I don't have a lot of money. The concept is fairly simple but things like which electronics... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>1038952 im exactly in the same seat as you, i have came up with alot of products over years, but those have all been forgotten, though. Today i think i came up with something that would be really big and something i could make big bucks out of. But yeah, im stuck in the same position as you.
Swedish high school graduate here in need of some advice. I'm moving to Stockholm next year and I have a job lined up to pay off my rent while I'm studying, but I still haven't decided what to study. My choices are the following:
