>>1471379 buy when others a buying - everyone wants to get on the next bitcoin, so when you see a shitload of volume then you should hop on and expect the price to increase for the next few days (or week, or months)
but also look for shorting opportunities if the price is increasing for absolutely no reason

The FA case for crypto currency, is their deflationary nature (limited amount of bitcoins), their protection from central bank manipulation (i.e. money printing, QE), their low transaction costs, their universality (borders are meaningless to crypto) and their transparency.

I just graduated with a liberal arts degree from a top school(not ivy but close in rankings), and I'll be starting an analyst position with a boutique management consulting firm in two weeks.
Im on a 90 day probationary period where I can be terminated at will, and I can leave at-will.
I'm ok at math, have had professional internships in the past with success, so I don't think I'm entirely retarded, but I can be a socially awkward Autist and I'm honestly not that business/economically savvy.

>>1471275 some things that helped a lot 1) Try to find small things that you think might be improved. Then do it and show the result. 2) Not be only on time but come earlier and leave earlier. But make sure they notice it. 3) Heavy workload? Take that paper/laptop home and finish it there. Don't tell anyone about that. 4) Find the weakest guy and fit in when the others bash him
Hey /biz/ this is my first time dropping by, and I need some advice. I'm looking to start my own business, though don't really know what kind of business I should start. I don't have any clue how to start a online sales business, nor do I know how to start a service business. I'm not really a professional at anything, but I do know how to do a little of everything thanks to the many jobs I've held.
The city I live in is mostly middle to lower class people, so whatever I do ((if a service business)) would have to be priced reasonably well so it's... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
At first I thought starting a lawn care service wouldn't be so bad, but I'm not sure I could do it quick enough so that I could generate enough profit to live off of. I'd need to hire help, but I don't have any cash set aside to pay for some help. I could always give them a cut of the profit as it comes in... but that honestly feels a little shady.
My driving force is becoming my own boss. I would think that is a large driving force behind most people wanting to start their own business. I can see why insight or the ability or knowledge on providing a better/faster service is needed though.
That being said, everyone has to start somewhere. Some people wake up one day having the great idea that they will cut lawns for the rest of their life.
I refuse to just give up because I haven't had an eye opening idea that will make everyone want to throw money at me. I don't need to be rich. This is more for... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Yes. I'd report the money stolen and spark an investigation. Do you know how expensive it is to hide money like that? I'd spend more hiding it than I have in my account. They have good ways to log who gets in and out of accounts to where a proxy/vpn won't help you.
>>1470997 billionaires are usually not very young unless they inherited their fortune. They either started dating them when they couldn't get any better, or they are 60s so you forget that women in general after 30 fall literally apart (actual sexy milfs are very rare, unfortunately)
Can someone explain to me how basic income would improve society without the government controlling every facet of the economy (and this assumes the government could/would make things better with its control)?
Because I thought about it for like twenty minutes and I realized that, as a landlord, I would find out how much basic income is and raise my rent to be something someone with basic income and a full time minimum wage job could just barely afford, to maximize my profits. (why should I charge what any schmuck can afford with money to spare?)
As far as I see... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I remember seeing material for basic income from Switzerland which seemed to focus entirely on being lazy. Shit like "what would you do if you didn't have to work?" Minimum basic income is a get rich quick scheme for liberals, except you're still poor even if it works.
Admittedly, in a socialist country, it could work out (though you would run into the trouble of people not wanting to do manual labor jobs). In a free country, government subsidized housing is not common enough for landlords to not violate you but good.
>>1470975 >The guy down the street who didn't raise his rent would be able to screen better renting applicants, have lower vacancy, lower turnover etc because he has more people applying to rent his more affordably priced property
Now, as to how it would improve society, it would get rid of so much government largess. Get rid of welfare, affordable housing, foodstamps, and all the other government bloat-fests that contribute to them spending $87K per family of four to "combat poverty".... Comment too long. Not into sales but it is my newfound passion to become a salesman. I am going to start by sales over phone for a company that sells just random stuff other companies give them for selling.
Then I am hopping of finding a whatever job in russia for 1-2 years just so I learn the language, and hopefully after that I can make a career there. The money the circulates in Moscow is crazy. People are newly rich and they spend on anything.
>I have all this money, but I feel empty inside. Guess what, I'm a depressed autistic so I'm on the same boat as you. Except I don't have any money.
You rich guys can start creating and affecting the world. Be it in a superficial manner(artistic entertainment) or in a serious manner such as new biological, technological advancements, new streets or social stuff(giving money to needy intellectuals and teaching them how to make money) Albert Einstein wouldn't have realized all his projects if it wasn't for his rich... Not just drips of water in an ocean. > there are people worse of than your Oh my god, you're not just any kind of faggot, you're a gigantic queer. You're a fruitbowl, a real sissy. Holy shit this level of faggotry. You homosexual maniac.
There is nothing worse for a person living in a social world than autism. People have expectations out of you, they expect you to have an acceptable level of cognitive skills. You're living in the real world, you can't act like an animal or an insect. You need to shape this world in a constructive manner, you can't just live in it and pretend you're helping.
Oh sorry you were talking about the chinese, africans, muslims, hobos, mentally insane across the street? Anonymous. Those are not people. They are not considered people and will never be human beings of rights and power. The mentally insane have it better than socially awkward neets because mild autism still isn't considered a mental disease unless it's of a very high grade. In reality a boring, monotonous, stupid, talentless person lacking in imagination and with the expectations of a person - which is forced to work off minimum wage is much worse off than a prisoner or a mentally deranged being. Those creatures are already out of standards and nobody expects anything out of them. It's like asking an ant to do its' part and help the world. In reality only a being of immense power and intelligence is capable affecting the world in a constructive manner.
can't believe it's costing me 300 a month in car insurance to insure this piece of shit. Even though i'm a new driver, it would have costed less to insure a big SUV according to these quotes im looking at.
At this rate its costing me 10 dollars a day to drive, and thats not even gas
just hitting a bump in the road on my scramble for 15k capitol...ditched my old shit red lobster job after paying full cash for my car (3000, 60k kilometers/37k miles) in order to find a factory job but i've fallen into NEETness living off my other 5000 in savings.
Need to make a move, but even losing 5% and 10% makes me cringe some days
Hey /biz/, first time posting here, definitely probably doing something wrong but be nice aha. I'm in need of some advice. I'm 19 and consider my current life to be in perils. Currently in an university degree that I know nothing about; contemplating quitting soon however I'm surviving on government funds as a student. I have no real "experience" in any forms of retail store as a teenager. Will however be going for an interview to become a fundraiser. I have a fair amount of money (around 9k) and would appreciate any form of advice regarding careers/invest... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I was in a similar situation without the money. Then I dropped out, got an office job with protection. I hated that too, so I quit and went to another an another university which seemed a good idea. It wasn't. I did this "searching for my path" for a few years because I have a fantastic, supportive family. It took me 7 years to realize that I have to decide what I want to do with my life and no one else can tell me what is the right path for me. (Redpill: also no one cares) Sit... Comment too long. So, my friend and i are starting a webshop for dropshipping. We are gonna have our first skype conference with some suppliers. It's our first meeting, so what do i have to prepare in order to make a deal with them.
The supplier sells; Watches, sunglasses accesories etc. Our webshop is gonna match theirs. i am willing to elaborate more, if you are interested in helping me.
I just graduated from a decent public university with a degree in Economics, 3.6 GPA. So I'm pretty average, but I have *no* technical skills at all.
Is HR a decent entry-level gig? From past experience, it seems like I'd mostly be competing with total dipshits, so hopefully getting a job wouldn't be that hard. Then again, my degree wouldn't transfer at all.
Just enrolled in community college and finished my first week, which was easy but feels a lot like high school part 2. When asked what I wanted to pursue the first thing my mind jumped to was nursing. Not sure why, but that happened... Anyway, my father just told me about mechatronics. I was wondering if anyone else has experience in this field, and if it's worth pursuing. I love finding out how things work and fixing things when they're broken. Typically my friends come to me when they've broken something and need it fixed. I'm not a very social person,... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
