Is the economy actually permanently screwed? I say yes it is; the petrodollar is being threatened by the ruble, the price of oil is tanking, china's construction bubble will probably sing the death toll for what is really the only manufacturing power on earth, and the wealth of the world is being even split into two groups, with no moderation between. Is it perma-fucked?
It's just not really going anywhere. I feel like things will just continue being eh until either a major disaster or miracle occur, in which event we'd either decline as a society or reach a new golden age.

>>1025726 On more sophisticated platforms like Interactive Brokers' TWS you can specify that you want the order to participate outside if regular hours as easily as checking a checkbox. But there are greater risks associated with post-market and pre-market trading. So be aware of those. Some include extremely low liquidity, extremely wide spreads, and no price protection on slippage
What if I file my taxes but I lie about my income... what if I INCREASE my income to 300k from 60k, get a payment plan that I can handle, and then go buy a house with my sweet looking tax income forms?
I'm a medical student currently studying in England, I am about to receive £3000 from funds, grants and student loans. I'm planning on using all of it to buy and sell shares and live on literally nothing. My plan was to purchase blue chips and IPO's but I feel I want to make money quicker.
I didn't really even consider taxes when I started doing this. Bought it for $23k, put in about another $30k, and probably selling for around $140k. How boned will I be if I don't do 1031? Also, can a 1031 be used to sell a single family home and buy a multi family or apartment? Assuming the original house was always an investment property.
>>1025630 My camera. It landed me a job where I got paid to travel the country, and has paid me back many times over.
Worst is probably my car. even though it was used and I bought it for only $5k, as soon as I drove it from California to texas, the engine mounts broke, and the A/C broke, $2k spent immediately, then transmission broke $3k, now brakes for $800. I've already spent over $10k for my car and still have a year left on payments
>Just moved to new state >Rent shitty apartment >Go to post office to get mailbox key >Open mailbox >Find treasure trove of mail from last year >Refund check for $242.56 from local golf course >Made out to last occupant >Dated 09/15/2015
>>1025527 I've been trying to use Google Sheets to use linear optimization to create lineups, but it's not really working out the way it's supposed to. I'm trying to learn Python because I've found some scripts where people use it for DFS. I think it might be more worthwhile to try to make my own in the long run, but I'm not really sure if I'm on the right track.
