I recently became a stay at home mom. Is there any real money to be made in blogging and where do I begin? I have a blog that now has 5 posts and some Amazon affiliate links but it isn't fancy. I do not want to invest money in it before I know it can make money.
Hey /biz/. I'm looking to get into investing in the market and I've got a few stocks I want to be able to keep track of more easily. Is there a way I can track a half a dozen stocks with a desktop widget or something so I can always see the price easily?
Mine: >Never taught me ANYTHING about personal finance/investing/markets, etc >Said meme shit like "You need to be a genius with a million dollars to invest!" when I told them what I learned about investing and tried to talk to them about it >Constant nagging raised my cortistol and sub-sequentially lowered my testosterone
You need to find out for yourself. It depends on what you are good at. Go to fiverr.com and do something you are good at for $5, go to etsy.com if you are good at making something like handcraft stuff, start a store in ebay.com if you buy low sell high you can make profit, start a website and offer some kind of service, etc..
I'm shit with money management. I find it easier for me to pay monthly fees rather than saving up cash to buy it all at once.
That being said, I've never had a credit card, and know next to nothing about the finer points to them. I'm curious, what should I expect with them? I'm thinking of getting an amazon card to pay for my larger purchases on the site and then a second for other purchases.
Any words of wisdom would be nice to have, thanks /biz/.
Get a credit card with your bank that doesn't have an annual fee. Spend as much as you want, but always pay the minimum payment every month. Never miss it, not once.
I'm 22 and I've had a credit card for 2 years. Just paying for things with it, and paying the minimums every month (and occasionally paying the whole balance off), I've now got a better credit score than my father, and they've given me 3 credit limit increases. I'd get a better card if I had more income.
I am an 18 year old currently looking for investment options. I currently work at a resturant/bar and get paid under the table. I do not drive and i am not asking the typical "how do i make money" question, i just need to be pointed in some sort of direction from someone who has experience. I have a few ideas for products that would involve plastic molding but im not sure how to get started. Should i first look into patenting my idea? Or should i get some manufactured and test the product out? I also dont know how to go about getting my idea manufactured.
Overall, if anyone here has had any success with creating a product or small investments that would be good to start with, where would be a good place to start?
hey /biz/ i'm going into the sales industry and a common requirement on job descriptions is the possession of a "diploma" or a "major/certificate" in sales. Is there anyway that i can get a cheap but legit (to some extent) one? are there any courses that i can do online? something that would sound legit on a resume.
>>1024030 >job descriptions is the possession of a "diploma" or a "major/certificate" in sales. Literally doesn't exist in America. Just lie or put down "available upon request" because all that matters is getting to the interview.
I've never heard of this, and I'm in an environment filled with nothing but professional salespeople.
Can someone provide me with information on passive incomes. I know you can survive on them alone, but how easy is it to make $10/day with it (im traveling through asia for a while and want to supplement some expenses with it)? Also i saw a link to a file that explains how to set them up, does anyone have that i can get?
>>1023986 Hell no, that anon didn't read that you wanted it passively. For passive income your best bet for passive income is to throw $105,000 into a high dividend yield index fund for 3.5% dividends annually, which comes out to roughly $10/day.

I know nothing about any of this shit and even I ca ntell you that trading is very short term (buy & sell for profit) whereas investing is over a long long period of time to benefit from dividends, and also usually diversified to minimize risk. right??
