I've somehow found myself with free and unfettered access to a stocked genetics lab (Microarrays, automated liquid handlers, PCR, centrifuges, UV Trans, Centrifuges, etc.), a 3D Printer, and a full workshop. I have a bachelors in Biotechnology, so I'm not an idiot, but I'm at a lack of anything to do with the resources I've suddenly found myself with and feel like I'm wasting the opportunity of a lifetime.
Beyond stealing lab equipment, how can I turn this opportunity into money? What's the best way for a scientist doing the work, rather... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>973361 Crypto fags take the cake. Luckily most of that has died down over the last year as cryptocurrency has declined in price and interest. This board used to be a breeding ground for all types of crypto bullshit. Bitcoin nuts were the worst because they bought into it just like MLM scams. Promise someone cheap easy money and they all of a sudden lose all critical thinking skills. I am glad that those threads are few and far between now as Darwinianism has taken effect.
Those people who post pictures of expensive cars or male models in business suits smoking cigars, they usually make a "life goals" or get rich quick thread, no doubt they have a facebook page they spam with inspirational quotes too
>Graduated in Aug from a shitty CUNY school with a BS in Business Management & Finance.
>Looking for job on Meme Street.
>Got an internship at a company thats willing to sponsor me for series 7 and 63. ie. become a professional button pusher.
>If I pass then they will hire me for a measly $300 a week and then I need to press as many buttons as I can to make some real shekels.
>What I really want to do is be a trader or investment banker(inb4 top kek) as these fields are more long term and stable compared to a stock salesman. No stock broker knows what they are talking about besides looking at stocks on http://finance.yahoo.com/ .
I am networking pretty well but not a lot of leads on a potential trader/investment banking internship. What is there to do in my situation? I would like to use the company now for the "free" sponsorship and get the series 7 and 63 under my belt. However, I think in the long run it is a waste of time because this will only teach me how to be a salesman and not an expert in the market. Until my ends days I will be a button masher if I don't find anything now and that is not even a guarantee since I have yet to pass the 2 tests.
/biz/ my recycling plant got robbed overnight again, and I'm getting really tired of this shit. I live 1.5 hours away through a mountain, and the plant is located in a heavily negro/mexican neighborhood.
What is my best (and affordable) option to tighten security? These shits are literally drilling holes through my gates and the police refuses to do anything even when shown recordings.
And the robbery today, the guy only tore off all the cameras in the plant, including the box that was hidden in the ceiling. I'm scared that they'll kill whoever's... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

You're a big boy now, move out of your parents house you fucking parasite.
Maybe your parents wouldn't be struggling financially if they didn't have to sustain a grown man who refuses to work and rather watch anime and post shit threads like this on anime discussion forums. Move out loser
>>972845 >Big 4 Isn't that basically impossible? 1) I've never seen them advertise actuarial internships (in particular, I've been to PwC and EY networking events where most of the people there didn't even know what an actuary was). 2) The Big 4 are advertising to people from ANY FUCKING DEGREE pretty much any good uni - the competition sounds impossible.
I'm a sophomore in Computer Engineering, so I haven't begun my specialized courses very much. Thing is, I'm worried about market saturation and I'm more interested in software development (as I figure microprocessors really come down on Electrical Engineers more than computer engineers). I'm intending to start my internships this summer, but I'm considering jumping ship to biomedical engineering and just going after learning programming and software myself. Is this feasible?
