>>1634016 The theory works if everyone who benefits from it spends to benefit the economy. Greed is usually a human component though, especially the higher you go up (on average). I'd say if you helped grow and stabilize the middle class you could benefit a lot more. I think you need to be fair to all classes though, and that means a fair tax rate for the rich and the richest of the rich.
I want to make a lot of money and I'm broke, though I don't have food stamps even though I qualify (I do get subsidized by my family however) - I'm just prefacing for this: I strongly believe in basic income. People are barely getting by with the wages paid for by that car while the upper crust get paid outrageously and are building legitimate generational wealth.

I'm 23 and I've worked for my Father's janitorial company since I was 19. No employment history before that. I don't really get paid. I just get free housing and still treated like a kid. He buys me clothes, video games, etc. pretty much whenever I ask. I work maybe 3-4 hours a day doing inventory, invoices, bookkeeping, etc. Mostly computer stuff.
How do I write a resume with this experience to get a real job? I'm too autistic to get any retail/fast food/customer service job and do fat to do any general labor job without wanting to pass out.... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>1636949 You need to get uncucked from your parents. But it will take major change in your life to do this. You need to change your hobbies, your days, your mentality. Show them you are capeable of achieving something. First things first, lose weight.
So my dad told me to watch this video about using wizardry to wipe out debt. Of course, the actual HOW-TO is behind a paywall on every site that talks about it (seems like a scam) but if it is legitimate, I would LOVE to forgive my own debt :P About $46K in credit debt.
So is it real? How to? I am no average Joe, I just need to be pointed in the right path... unless you want to be a damned superstar lay it all out!
Actually I just saw a 94 character video title with 8 million views.... are you sure title length even matters? because if it doesn't, Dragon Ball seems like a richer term than "DBZ" since a person searching Dragon Ball Z or Dragon Ball Super might stumble upon my video with higher chances than if I just put "DBZ" (as an example)
stop stressing about this shit and make better content than goofy top however many whatever to ever what the fuck wherever videos seriously, make good videos and people will watch them whether you abreviate USA or not
i put great effort in my content, which is precisely why I want it to rank good and I dont want to get less views due shit as mundane as title etc, and like it or not, that matters, just as like the thumbnail
good content is not enough in a sea of videos, everything matters. I already get views, im just trying different keywords this time, and the title I come up with is 78 characters with acronym vs 85 without acronym.. what do i do?
So I work in a leisure centre that is struggling to make long term gains
the problem is that we are relying on the business of what I would call "toxic customers"
we have one group of professional sportspeople, who cover most of our costs but they make a range of demands that hinder the ability of the business to grow they want to book out all our prime time sessions, and have exclusive access and we are doing a lot of their clubs business for them as well, at no cost
to compound this, a lot of our senior staff are from these professional... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

>>1636507 Obviously the business already has a rapport with the disability carers/wranglers, so you can't just start charging more or telling them to wrangle better, you may have to offer them a different service so that you can change the relationship. Like, if they're just coming in in small groups now and swimming or bowling or whatever, maybe offer to do special events with larger groups and bring in pizza and a magician and shit. That's just an example, I don't know your business or if these tards... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
A couple of years ago, I decided to start up my own gig and advertised it on craigslist. I found a design that I liked using a google image search and used it as the image on my ads.
This morning I got an email from someone saying that they recognized the image, that it belonged to another business, and that they were going to report me to that business so that I could get sued - I panicked. I asked the person who emailed me what the right thing to do was and they told me to contact the business, give them my personal and work info, formally apologize for using their... Comment too long. Hello /biz/, I thought about getting into business related stuff but I dont know where to start. I tried educating myself on some internet pages which had tutorial on them on how to start investing etc. But it always feelt like there was a lack of my knowlege and I coudnt understand the guide for beginner. I knew that the problem was not having enough background knowlege. But where should I start then? Can you recommend some blogs/videos/books? I tried lurking on /biz/ and thought that it would be enough unfortunately that was not the case
What are some assets worth over 10 million whose value at least stays the same if not appreciates over time and don't need any maintenance? Private jets, yachts, mansions, etc. all need a lot in maintenance.
Are you sure you got everything? Bought all the bitcoins, checked all the stocks and penny stocks? >Ugh yes. For the last time I didn't forget... Surprise!! Bitcoin is stagnating, that means Eth and every other altcoin is raising. We're back in the gig, /biz/. With the weekend coming right now it'll be an altcoin hunting trip again. Get your christmas lists for santa ready.
>>1636038 people like to forget that the universe is inherantly meaningless, and that no human is under any obligation to do anything, other than the obligations that they themselves adhere to. Ie. All meaning is relative to its societal context. There is no such thing as immortal moral truths. There are only actions which increase suffering and actions which decrease suffering.
I do the same thing. Work aside from money is meaningless. My life for the past few years has been simple. Work for a little bit. Have enough money to live for many months doing nothing. Once my wallet gets light, start working again. Money can always be earned. Especially if you have skills. If you're dependent on being someones employee, such a lifestyle is more difficult to maintain.
Do affiliate marketing websites actually make okay money? You know like writing a small overview or review of an item and linking a page to buy it from Amazon? I don't expect that sort of site to make a lot of money but in January my grace period for my student loans will run out, but I don't have a job right now. I'm a programmer / web developer, I've already made the basic design of it already but is it possible to make about $150 + server costs per month? It'll hold me over tell I can find the right job.
It's possible to make $150+ a day with AM. My personal high score was just short of $500. No ad spend either, pure spam, all profit.
Will you make $150 month though? Probably not at the start, unless you take some advanced courses from someone who knows their shit. It takes most people several months, if not years, to reach numbers worth talking about.
>>1635957 I see, well if I work at it maybe eventually I can make it. I have a couple ideas for marketing, like having a bot that would keep up social media stuff for the site for me. I think I can have decent seo also.. I think its worth trying.
>>1635994 there's IFTTT and things like buffer.com to automate posting on social sites. could save you time vs writing a bot.
but my all means go for it. you will make a profit so long as you stay consistent. all your efforts are compounded.
most people give up early. my friend wanted to get into affiliate marketing. i set him up with a blog which he wrote several articles for. then i told him to start promoting on social sites since it's free/minimal effort. he did it for 2 days, didn't see... Have /biz/ started their own business, do you plan to? What was it? How did it go?
I'm considering starting a small painting business next year to earn some more money with my university studies. I'll probably just start by handing out flyers around the coastal houses - since they always require painting. I hope to attract them with the cheaper prices I can offer compared to the professional painters (which are are excessively costly). The capital start up costs aren't that much (paints, equipment, etc..), and the return is good.
Just a general... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>1635891 I think it's a good idea. First off you should make yourself known. Flyers are a good way - just spot the houses that need it badly (supply and demand classic). It's all about finding the customers that need your service and making them see that. Fb ads could probably help.
Be faster, cheaper, or better than the competition. Or all three combined.
When you start to do it well, others will ask about you and you'll get yourself new customers. In no time you'll go from painting houses... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>1635920 >buy/sell goods to make a profit Yeah, I'd also like to do something like this. Although, like you, I wouldn't know where to start aside from finding semi-decent things being undervalued at fairs or garage sales; then selling those online.
What is the cut that Ebay takes from sales? How is that some things like electronics can get sold for less than a dollar, how can that even be a profitable model? I find internet-based businesses unusual, and prefer ones which aren't based on the internet. This is mainly because I have more experience on ones which aren't based on the internet, from my parents.
Importing/Exporting is also a very profitable business, but it requires a lot more capital than I can afford.
>>1635869 depends on whether the fed tries to save the stock market by sacrificing the value of the U.S. dollar. it;s the same reason the gold bugs like peter schiff and mike maloney say gold is a good investment during upcoming QE bubble burst. so just think of bitcoin as digital gold for the future. and there are a lot of reasons why bitcoin would be a better investment thank gold during a fiat currency collapse. first one being ease of trasaction obviously, and the face that there is known supply of 21 million whereas gold... >>1635876 Do you think the recent jump in price had to do with the problems China economy is currently experiencing? There was a documentary that China is on par to experience a recession similar to the 2008 one the US had.
>>1635890 well i think that the perception that the yuan was depreciating quickly was definitely behind a lot of the bitcoin price hike. I don't think that most ppl in china see a depreciation in the yuan of 1% and then jump to bitcoin which is much more volatile, it just makes no sense. so just the perception and hype around the devaluing of the yuan was the cause behind it i think.

if you did your research and traded paper for a while you would learn a lot and one day might stumble across an opportunity like bitcoin was years ago, something which is at worst a long term investment yet also has the potential for high gains

I'm looking at 2 things to sit my inheritance while I'm in school. I'm comparing TSE:VFV (Vangaurd US S&P 500 Index MER 0.08%) and MUTF_CA:TDB902 (TD bank's mutual fund of the same thing MER 0.35). I'm looking at this graph and I'm wondering:
1) Is the MER cost included in this graph? 2) The ETF had several dividends, does google finance reinvest the dividends in this graph?

I totally agree. Anyone who attempts to get an engineering degree these days is a damn fool. If you don't get filtered out by the curriculum then you certainly will by the dead job market. Look elsewhere.
>>1635545 The real meme is job opportunity at all. Every field is saturated. We doubled our population since 1956, made outsourcing astronomically easier, and introduced automation for factory work, software, legal scans, cooking, essentially parts of anything.
Far more labor supply, far less labor demand. Great Depression incoming.
Anyone not shorting ZEC right now is a retard. Blowing up to over 100% in the past 5 days?
I might still be new to crypto and trading, but is this not the clearest signal of hype overtaking the market?
Why would anyone place value in this? It's just another copycat coin, that does the same shit as Monero, which nobody will ever give a shit about because people know the name "Bitcoin" . Bitcoin is what the public has heard over and over for the past few years.

most of it I made it working and getting paid in BTC for tasks. I made like 2-3 BTC by a couple of trades thanks to MAID and other altcoin pumps. I have made very little trades.
Right now I don't see anything clear, and im too much of a pussy to risk. I may start taking big risks beyond the 21 BTC mark. Like, long term I must have 21 BTC, but beyond that, I will take bigger risks. So if I have 22 BTC, I will risk 1 entire BTC when I see a decent gamble. Shorting ZEC sounds like a decent...
