It's not a terrible idea, but it might operate better if it were a kind of oil price stabiliser, so the cheaper oil gets the higher the tax, and as prices go up the levy decreases. Still, like >>1078719 says, the republicans in congress won't pass anything proposed by Obama. Anything. It doesn't matter if he suggested doing away with taxes altogether, they'd still block it.
Hi, So I am planning on starting a business where I would buy a product relatively cheap from aliexpress and then rebranding it with my own brand. Now, I noticed most the products on aliexpress are usually similar to well established brands products. For instance I see a lot of cheap copies of the Daniel Wellington watch. So my question is, if I was to sell a product like say the copy of a DW watch and then rebrand it with my own logo and brand, is there a risk for me to get in trouble over some kind of patent dispute? To specify, the products I plan to sell are quite... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

The word counterfeit frequently describes both the forgeries of currency and documents, as well as the imitations of clothing, handbags, shoes,... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>1079312 Thanks, but if we are talking about a quite a simple product here it gets quite hard for companies to claim any "rights" to it? For instance, I've seen some optics frequently sell cheaper versions of black Ray Bans. The product basically looks almost identical with just slight variations and then the difference in the logo. In cases like this the product seems to be too simple or generic for it to become a problem. So my question really is: what are the odds that if I start rebranding and selling... Comment too long. It's the business-side of IT. It focuses more on the "why" than the "how". The degree is good if it also gets you some additional IT exposure, so that you're not rendered clueless. You don't want to just be the "pointy-haired boss".
>Be book store >Create your own charity >Offer customers to donate to charity to help childrens schools who need books >Customers feel bad, many oblige >Raise millions per year for "charity" >Give charity money to the schools >One obligation is that they MUST buy them at retail price from the book store >Get not only... I mean, it's been almost 5 years since I started my company, the last 1.5 year I've been completely slacking off. I can't find the motivation anymore, the worst part is that I'm sure the business still has a lot of potential if I really work on it. I'm actually making money without doing much, I feel almost shameful about it.
I want to get work done but can't get any motivation to apply it on my business. I'm almost envious of people with 9-5 jobs that don't have to ask questions... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>1078616 what's your business? I worked for a small company and the people at the top made a shit ton of money and everyone else didn't. It was very demoralizing, given the people who made the money were all part of the same family. Woo, nepotism.
You should feel shameful about not working hard, and you should pay your employees more, if you can. If you feel you're making money unjustifiably, then you should feel sad that you are and act on those morales. You'll feel better in the long run about doing... Comment too long. >>1078589 >Why do you want to work for our company
Here, you talk about the specific niches of the company and lie about how you like them
"On the companies website, it says that it has a very heavily funded R and D department. It would be more interesting work, to me, to work in a business that is innovative and constantly putting out new products"
"The business is very internationally focused, which interests me because....."
"XYZ is a startup,... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
You need real skills. Certifications are great but unless you are constantly updating them, useless. Like if you picked up Sec+ and worked in an unrelated field, you would still have to stay updated on the technologies. My advice is to pick up a hobby that can make money like painting, welding, carpentry, working on cars, or sewing. That way your skill could still save you money even when your employed and if you become unemployed you have a wonderful opportunity to turn your hobby into a small business.
Comp Sci Major here. Did any of you business/advertising majors ever read about Edward Bernays in any of your classes an uni? I find it amazing that some of my friends in advertising have never read Bernays work which is quintessential to human relations.
I just made a page on blogger today and was going to apply for Adsense, but it says my blog does not meet the requirements. I am in America by the way. Do I need to make a certain amount of posts or wait a few months? also how good are they at detecting fraud? I have access to thousands of different IP addresses so I was thinking I could use that to generate thousands of unique clicks per day.
