>start a job four months ago as an analyst at a bank >get told I'll be trained on the job since I have no experience >we're all so busy trying to pump out work that nobody is willing to take time away to train me in my actual job responsibilities and I get stuck doing clerical tasks >very quickly find out there's a power struggle going on, pitting the head of my department and the other analysts versus company executives and the mid-level managers... My boss, a 60 year old man with a net worth in the mid 8 figures, told me that every man should see his bank account hit zero at least once in your 20s, 30s, and 40s. If this doesn't happen, it means you are not capitalizing on the spending power available to you. Money in the bank isn't worth a thing unless you plan on spending it.
>be me >be 19 >no debt >going to cc for free but failing and don't want to continue with it. >fuck going to uni and paying a shit load What can I start doing right now that I can build into a profitable business? I have a job and make around 1300-1500 a month. Are there any viable options besides college this day and age? Am I just completely fucked if I don't go? How do you go about just starting a business? I have some ideas that have will be profitable if I only knew how to start.
>>1588703 If you can't hack it in CC how do you expect to make it starting a business? It's about 100x more work roughly. Your competitors graduated top of their class from top universities with rigorous majors. If you don't at least have a degree, people will not take you seriously, investors included.
I am a programmer that wants to get into freelancing/consulting. What should I be studying? I know very little about business. Sorry about the picture, I'm on my phone and I don't have too many images yet
Okay, so I'm a complete and utter dipshit when it comes to tech, so please bear with me. I know most of you use (or some?) use coinbase. I just set up an account and planned on loading some cash onto the account.
The letters below are not my account number, but is a replication of them in a sense. If i wanted someone to send me cash, i would give them that? - Could i also use my e-mail?
Finally, can i purchase Visa giftcards and just load up on bitcoin that way? Im sorry im such a fucking moron. Im an American so that very well explain it.

I would also be very interested if anyone could send me like a pennies value worth of bitcoin .0001 or whatever the lowest denominator so i can somewhat familiarize myself with the process.
I swear on everything i would send it back, just to see how the process works. I'm really not trying to beg, just trying to find out how in the heck to get this to work. Would be very willing to Skype with someone through the whole process
>>1588854 most people progressed and stopped using obsolete torrents. the biggest german only warez sites make so much money, you can become a millionaire if you do it right. but you have to see if its worth the risk spending your life in jail
I'm going to be a career firefighter soon. I'm not about being a poorfag though. I am going to budget and try to save 20-30k per year with my firefighter job. Even if it means I'll be living on rice and beans. How should I invest my 20-30k per year I will be saving?
Opportunity is better here in USA. You could get a job doing construction 40 hrs a week and make AT LEAST 12hr and prob 15hr. That should be enough for a start. Work hard and you'll be manager in a year.
I think Texas Georgia and North Carolina are all good places.
Considering that over half of my hypothetical net worth would be in a basketful of domain name assets on the chinese market that are rapidly depreciating I'd sell that shit and invest in a stable (not chinese) real estate market. Maybe swoop in when South Korea's bubble pops and prices bottom out there for a while.
Buy/sell compeitor shares, derived products or anything that can be traded that somehow links to the company Mind giving us a clue? (One that wont get me arrested for insider trading but will also give me enough knowledge to make a trade?)
>>1588476 Both are limited companies (in europe), so no shares to buy - that's my problem. The bought company produces "big industrial machines". Maybe I will get into more detail the next few days, but not today.
First time poster here so sorry for being a stupid fuck
I want to start a business involving cars. My passion is cars, has been and will be beyond death. Currently I'm studying to become an automotive engineer, but until then it is a whole lotta work. I want to start a business car-related. Either a car advisor, start on some forum stuff and move up, or some car reviewer. I'm willing to work hard for it and learn a lot, but I don't know how to start and what to do. How can this passion or "skill" of mine can make people pay me?
>>1588316 Why don't you fix up classics? I have a friend who does this and makes a couple grand a year, nothing crazy but he really enjoys working on and driving them, then gets paid for it in the end.
Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody had themselves or knew of anybody else moving to New York straight out of university in the UK (I'm British) to work in the finance industry? I would do anything to get to the states but have been told from various people that US banks are extremely unwilling to hire from anywhere other than the US
>>1588294 It's very competitive. When I worked in NYC, we had a lot of Chinese guys at the firm because they came from rich families. Basically you need to give them a reason to hire you. What do you bring to the table?
if theres one thing i learnt its all about what you make out of your current situation. my dad had two school colleagues, one got an engineering degree and the other dropped out and became a hairdresser. now the guy with the engineering degree is repairing cars in some ghetto shop, and the guy who became a hairdresser is cutting celebrities hair charging ridiculous prices.
Just looking for opinions on binary option trading. New to the market and I've come across a few articles over the years basically saying its a scam. Done a bit of research and found some regulated brokers that may be worth a shot. I've only been looking into this over the past day and would like to get some feedback. I think the major problems would be withdrawals, pricing and (technical difficulties) that may make you miss a good trade. Also you don't own any of the assets. How is it more beneficial than just trading options? The expiry time is a big advantage... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>1587993 Take it from someone who seriously considered working for a binary option trading company, they're a scam. Not only that, but they target the financially incompetent. No sane person who actually understands the short term volatility of the stock market would consider it worthwhile to spend their time on it. It's an industry that is more morally bankrupt than drug dealers, as at the very least drug addicts knew what they were getting into.

your shitcoins are never going to amount to anything. you can't buy anything with them without jumping through 5, 6 hoops.
nobody wants anything to do with a currency you cant even spent....just a matter of time before the fad is over and you have to start looking for your first part time job as a person in their 20s

>>1587685 Do neither of you have a fucking credit card? Im not saying its the best solution but goddamn you need to have some kind of backup for a situation like this.
Also if you are trying to make a living on that tight of a budget you need to get dayjobs and do this shit on the side until you have enough money for 3-6 months of expenses. I have my own business for the last 5 yrs so I kinda know what you are going through
I live in Phoenix, AZ and it's dusty as fuck here. Add in that people wear shoes in the house, kids, pets, etc and the end results are dirty fucking carpets and tile.
Roughly 5 years ago there tons of owner/operator carpet cleaners but they seemed to have give it in up in favor of driving for Uber or Lyft.
Anyways, I'm considering starting up my own little carpet cleaning business since the economy is doing better, there's not a lot of competition and the startup costs range anywhere from $500 to $25,000.
Customers wouldn't be an issue;... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>1587666 I've seen those vans with industrail carpet cleaning equipment inside, the operator just runs a few hoses into the house. Also what are you smoking I lived there about a year ago and saw lots of carpet cleaners all over the arcadia, scotsdale chandler and mesa area.
>>1587645 They have been hated for as far back as history dates. Enslaved even. Their sole means of survival and prosper ever since they've been able to stand alone has been business. Whether that business be real estate, farming, media, banks, etc etc is up to them. But when you look at their history, their only was to survive was to barter and find loopholes in anything involving currency because no one else would give them a break so they haggled. Now when you have a whole religion/race of people so tightly woven together... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

Anyone heard of Rich Uncle REITS? They've been advertising to the public. Not sure what the minimum investment for a normal REIT is but maybe they allow lower investment with shittier rates I don't know.

Hey /biz. I'm looking for a payment processor for my website. My service resides in a sort of grey area. Most of my competitors use skrill. Has anybody has experience with processing payments. (not located in America btw).
