I'm bored and haven't seen one of these in a bit. Give me/others something to draw.
>All J-fash styles (lolita, mori, otome, gyaru, deco, etc.) are welcome! >Cosplay is discouraged, because then it's basically fanart of your character. >Please provide your best photos. >Artists: it's not a bad idea to just sign your work >Selfposters: When giving credit, it's a good idea to refer to the art as a freebie or commission, NOT fanart. >Helpful critique is acceptable, insults and taunts are not. >You should actually be wearing your coord, not "Draw me in X!" >Have fun!
Weird topic, gulls: I know how you guys like to cosplay things like Sakizou drawings, and I know some of you like LARPing. This is neither of those, and is closer to period costuming. Have any of you ever seen classical paintings or statues and really wanted to cosplay them? (Pic related, the Vestal Virgin statue that was in the 2005 P&P) Where would you wear such a specific costume? Ren faires? Have you ever been so jealous of someone's outfit in a Vermeer that you wanted to recreate it?
>>8802815 >any tips? my tip is you check this little thing called the catalog, you might have never noticed it at all if i didnt point it out. theres a homestuck and a help thread. who knew? clearly not you.
Some people don't give enough credit to the people who actually put alot of effort into making there own cosplay, and seeing disappointment like this on my wall, sicks me... this girl just buys her shit online, and ask for sponsor ship.... while some off us works our ass of to make a damn dollar just to make amazing cosplay for this scum like this to say shit about our cosplays
There actually seems to be a lot more of this going around than people think. In my community there is one girl who is literally trying to make a living by being a guest at local conventions.
She got super pissed when some con apparently decided they weren't going to pay their Cosplay guests and went on a rant about it. Now she's making a big fuss about how cosplayers should stick up for themselves and get proper respect.
>>8801724 My sister got me the 12 (?) pack of the tonymoly sheet masks for Christmas and oh god they leave my skin so soft PS collagen applied topically or ingested doesn't do shit, the molecules are too long to be absorbed and will just sit on the surface of your skin or be broken down by your stomach, the only way to get collagen is through injection. Save your money
Asked in the last thread as it was already in auto-sage, but has anyone used Shiseido's Future Solution lx line? If so, any thoughts on it? I have fairly sensitive, combination skin and usually use a combination of Missha and the Face Shop products, but I received pic related as a gift.
Dallas, San Antonio, and Omaha! There's a Daiso in Dallas right? and probably the museums in both Dallas and Omaha would be fun for a lolita date. I'll probably check out the riverwalk mall in SA but I wanted more lolita-safe/oriented date spots too!
